This is beautiful and simple. I played it for far more totems than I thought I would! I grasped the idea instantly and thought I was done - but I kept wanting to build "just one higher"!
The theme song was perfect, the animations were great, the characters are super cute!
I think this could be extended into something bigger if there were a "combinatorial" aspect. Rather than just "find THIS character" there could be some kind of system for crafting characters out of primitive aspects. THe primitives could evolve outside of your decisions.
Anyhoo, this was perfect for a LD, held my interest for a long time, and made me smile. Great work!

This game is absolutely lovely. The visuals and sounds of the little man are wonderful and its very smooth. The art style is simple and fun. While the concept isn't anything impressive or the gameplay loop particularly engaging, the length is just right and the general cozy feel made me want to keep going until that perfect ending. The music is peaked by that fun little twist at the end and overall I enjoyed myself.
Wow this was a great game. The gameplay itself was very simple and if executed another way I probably would have found it boring, but the graphics, music, and style turned it from boring to relaxing. Additionally, the satisfaction of placing things on the sacrificing device was well done (nice screen shake haha). Anyway I loved it, it was adorable.
I absolutely love this game. Art style is great. Audio is cool. Catchy little music loop that didn't become annoying. Played to the End. Favorite LD43 game I've played so far!
Just rated it, it's very very nice! The art and sound are amazing. I only wish it was a little more challenging

this is the best one i played so far hahaha, so fresh, the character and the universe is so vast an original and kudos for making your ithio look like an extension of this universe, i'll be playing this for hours and hours to come hhahaha
One of the best art so far, awesome name, nailed the mood and theme is right on. The gameplay can be improved, I had high hopes for the gameplay, but it had too much for busy work and no room for self-expression. Other than well done :)

Very attractive artwork and nice melody! Gameplay probably lacks some engagement, though. Maybe, some additions to the base mechanics would be enough. For example, you could allow to carry more than one creature at a time (somehow juggling with them). It might feel less repetitive (as player would try to bring "complete order" at once), as well as add some challenges on the way back.
Very nice little game, with some nice artwork and sound effects, especially on the compo submission deadline. At first I thought there was no way to win or lose, but the ending was indeed satisfying and fit the theme well. I played it live on twitch in the 6th episode of my Ludum Dare to Play series if you want to see it. https://twitch.tv/cyberlightgames. Thanks for submitting this!
Art and music were unbelievably adorable. Not too long, played it to the end and loved all the different monsters you came up with.

Great Artwork, Sound Effects and Music. Gameplay is simple and catchy and it's short enough so you won't go bored. But most of all, I loved the ending. Great job!

Whimsical, simple and refreshing. I think this is a wonderful example of *games as meditation*. One simple goal, a clear way to achieve it, a simple (but engaging) soundscape, sparse, colorful (and painfully cute) visuals.
Pack it up as mobile app, add touch support, optimize it to load very quickly for frequent, quick 1-5 minute playing sessions, keep it simple and keep the ads out of the way, and add a tiered unlock/upgrade system, and you have a fun little incremental meditation game.
You might like [Fly Guy](http://www.trevorvanmeter.com/flyguy/), another relaxing meditative game. Visually, your game also reminded me a lot of this old platformer that I can't seem to find anywhere on Google. It was called Star Man or something like that, and you were this little star that ran through obstacle-ridden levels in Sonic the Hedgehog style. It's visually quite similar to Totemini down to the sparse art style and squigglevision and I really wish I could dig it up for you.

i"m fond of it. For a game about sacrifice, I kept expecting there to be some kind of danger or stakes change. For how creaturey your victims look, they are pretty placid about being sacrificed. I'd love there to be some additional difficulty, some slight change in behavior or response. Thanks for making this, love the art.

I loved this little game, I love those games that makes me smile. Thanks for creating it! :) The music and the graphics are perfectly fit for the game mechanics and the theme. Everything is nice and easy. Cheers :)
This game is almost perfect. The art style isn't the best that I've seen, but the worst thing is the walk cycle. The sound effects that play when you're walking are a little bit annoying. Except that I loved this game.

Nice screenshake when you place a dude down on the totem! The game is simple, but I love games that are simple yet fun, which this qualifies for. The game's cartoon-y sound effects and music worked well with the art, which I liked. Also liked the little smiley dude to point you toward the right direction <3
I also liked the variety of various cute creatures around the map to discover. It took me a little while to figure out what to do (although I had fun bringing in the incorrect creatures before I did :p so props to you on that). Nice game.
Oh yeah, I also built _the best totem_  Screenshot from 2018-12-24 22-22-14.png
I liked the music and the graphics, but maybe the gameplay was a bit too repetitive :-S I was about to complain about getting lost so easily but then I noticed the mark pointing to the totem place xD
