Why is the html5 link a download? That defeats the purpose of html5. Use itch.io

The game isn't fun. The pieces the furthest away from the ship aren't any more than clicking and waiting, as there is no chance you'll make it back to the ship. Closer items are two clicks, but they often decrease to one click because of the hunger mechanic.

I like the idea of getting as many things as you can in one go, the problem is that the player spends so much time walking that he will not be able to get more than one thing each walk.

You sacrifice yourself for items. Hit the theme.

I love the graphics, and the mood is almost perfect. Just a shame there's no wind or any other sound. You've made a walking simulator, and hitting mood is important for this style of game, so good job.

I like it !

Very pretty game! My laptop had a hard time rendering it haha. It would've been nice if there was some audio, also the gameplay is not very exciting. Well done!

This was a very exhilarating game! I had a great time playing this

woo that's pretty good!

Only 3 things I could complain about: - there is no music / sound ? - I would have preferred to have the camera rotating around the crew member - I find it a bit strange that the pieces are recovered once you get to them. I would have liked to have to bring them back to the ship. And the piece could have just been dropped where the crew member dies.

Liked it though !

Pretty low fps but I like gameplay ! Mood was just perfect for me!

Call me soft-hearted but I really like what you have here. Sure the mechanics could be a bit deeper, like said before - actually having to bring the resources back.

BUT I see a lot of potential and I had a blast playing the game, it was just as long as I was comfortable with and I think this idea may be worth pursuing further.

The only thing that I feel is really missing are some sounds, they are one of the most important parts of your game, even if you use some free sounds and opt-out of the audio category.

Other than that, keep up the good work and hopefully I'll see you in the next Ludum Dare :)

Ok first of all a tip: ADD SCREENSHOTS TO THE LD PAGE. I dont play games that have no screenshots because I don't know if I'll like them but i tried this anyway and it was amazing! Incredible visuals, extremely smooth animations fun (although limited) gameplay and a very innovative interpretation of the theme! Great entry <3.

Edit: performance is mediocre.

That game is going hard on my gpu. I'm pretty sure it has some optimization problems. I like the game itself but its really lacking of music and sound design. And some optimization.

Really nice idea!

cristiano-t 2018-12-03 21:38

Congrats for your game! Your graphics are very prefessional! And your animations is amazing! Great Work! You could have added some instructions in the gameplay.

For some reason the outdoor area was quite laggy for me. Thanks for adding the arrow keys as input. The 3d is quite well made for a jam.

adroitconceptions 2018-12-03 23:31

- could have used some sort of tutorial - couldn't figure out how to fill up food - good graphics especially for a jam

co181127 2018-12-04 01:44

good job

deadpotato 2018-12-04 09:10

Woah It looks great! I kinda wished there was a tutorial to help players along.

Nice game! I like the concept, it's creative and hits the jam theme well. You could have a bit more feedback in the beginning, especially pointing out where I'm supposed to go (the door kind of blends in with the other props). I also thought it would make more sense if you had to carry the stuff back to the ship, so there's some strategy to sacrificing folks to get parts a little closer for the next person. Right now I'm basically throwing bodies at it. And speeding up the cycle would be nice, so I don't have to spend so much time walking out the door when I respawn. But overall it's a really nicely done game. I had a good time anyway!

Took me a bit to understand what I was supposed to be doing, but when it clicked that the game wasn't restarting every time I died and I understood what was going on I thought that was pretty cool. Neat concept but it's not very fun to play. Would be nice if there were some puzzle elements or something so deaths actually felt meaningful instead of just a way to have more air or something. Great graphics and animations, sound would have been nice.

That was a cool little game^^ The graphics are pretty, and the playable character is maneuverable. It barely ran on my old laptop though.
