Really fun game to play against a friend, it get's competitive fast! Wish maybe there were a few upgrades, pickups, extra abbilities but at least the simplicity of the game does help with making it available to basically anyone. Good job! (ps: Don’t forget to rate other peoples games so that you too get some ratings, i found this on the zero tab)

Very slick game. The graphics, audio and game play were very cool! I also would love to see upgrades, more terrain obstacles, item drops. Great job!

memel06 2018-08-16 21:14

I enjoyed playing this with my brother. It feels very cool and polished. Great Job!

Graphics seem a bit off...

Wish i had friends to play with :(

svntax 2018-08-20 02:37

I'm not sure why but I was able to just walk over the holes in the terrain without falling, which spammed a sound effect, and other times it would work normally. Other than that, I really like the concept in this game.

crave 2018-08-20 05:25

Thanks for the feedback, we'll do something about these!

nishinoya 2018-08-20 08:25

I really liked it! It gives this retro game vibe and i love it. The only thing- it needs main menu. But you did amazing job, guys! Honestly, one of the best games i have tested from this jam^^

It's a shame the fact it is a 1v1 game is preventing people from playing it (in my opinion) because this is really fun! Played it with my brother and we had a blast :)

Some other people mentioned upgrades and such, but I think this kind of game works better the simpler it is. Yeah maybe a couple of special items spawning randomly (and not too frequently) could be nice, but shifting the focus to fighting for objects too much would detract from the sheer fun of destroying terrain. The core mechanic is just fun! :D

I didn't experience any bugs, other than sometimes falling down while on terrain (but that's just a matter of tweaking colliders). I love the pixel-art, and the animations. Really cool, congrats! (some non-distracting backgrounds could really add to the visuals tho).

All in all, it makes for a fun couch-game, I could see it being played at house parties. If you are considering continuing development take a look at Airconsole, I think this game would fit perfectly in their platform. One of the best games I've played! :)

Sad I have nobody to play with right here. But I got the essence of the game. Fast and fun :)

I like the idea that a whole part of the battleground can fall if it's not linked anymore to the bigger part. I would have loved more levels using this specificity of the game. And as suggested above: a Bomberman comes good power-ups. It would be a blast to have some power-ups that cut the battleground in two :)

And this hammer animation is terrific !!!

Nice entry here ! Well done team.

I like the concept of this game. Looks and sounds nice, and reminds me a lot of our game (smashing floor tiles with a hammer), haha! Nice job overall!

Super fun and polished two player game! Played a few rounds with my girlfriend and we were laughing out loud sometimes! The mechanics just work really well and the game speed is pleasantly high, which allows for quick rounds. The mechanic of a cut off part of the level collapsing is also awesome. Also, great visuals! I actually only have one complaint (except for more maps maybe): The jumping doesn't work too well, because it's kinda hard to guess when you can jump again. Apart from this minor issue, this is just an amazing game!

crave 2018-08-24 02:22

Great feedback! We'll make dash cooldown more evident! @erkberg

g11 2018-08-24 08:27

That is so great that you've made a multiplayer game!

lekkel124 2018-08-24 17:05

I had a blast ! It's fast-paced, challenging, and it leads to very funny situations. I'll definitely keep playing it. Nice work ^^

adrisj7 2018-08-26 01:43

Simple, but really well done! Loved playing this. When me and my brother found out that we could stun each other the game completely changed. Really want to see more party games like this in LD! Dashing is a little bit hard to read and use, but I'm sure you probably are already thinking of how to tweak it. One of my favorites, great game!

afendar 2018-08-28 18:45

Really great game !! I love the graphics and besides it's pretty funny

crave 2018-08-28 19:08

Just to clarify, the bug @svntax mentioned was fixed though it was after the deadline so that build doesnt have it yet (thanks for pointing it out btw!)

We're still working on the game, improving the art and adding features so stay tuned for updates after the jam is done :>

Your feedback is greatly appreciated so feel free to leave a comment ❤️

BRILLIANT! I had a lot of fun with this. Sure it's missing a few things like a menu or instruction, but I also like it that way. You just jump right in and know what to do. I love the music and art style. This game is very polished in look, feel and mechanics. Great Job :D

rik-thunder 2018-09-03 09:43

oldschool. yes! enjoyable. though I don't have a chance to fully appreciate the game...since I'm alone right now with nobody to play ^^°

tlcoc 2018-09-04 06:20

hellsquirrel 2018-09-04 19:32
