Wow, you made the hole game in 48 hours?? Incredible. I only had a few problems with the gameplay. Maybe you should make a tutorial section or something. I wasn't able the shoot the other bunnies with the gun. Is there a way to kill them? :dog:

mza 2018-04-23 08:42

Loving the concept and the game. Very solid entry.

n3k 2018-04-23 13:18

I love the look of it

shimapleleaf 2018-04-23 13:32

Very impressive that you made this in just 48 hours. I get that one of your genres is *Farming*, but what's the second genre? It just feels like a generic farming simulator, but with bunnies instead. I found the game pretty confusing at first, controls aren't really explained well and in a right way. It does have some good gameplay once you get the hang of it. *The bobbing of the character got quite annoying after a while...* 6/10 - I can shoot the ducks.

walkdigidong 2018-04-23 14:48

I love the graphics of the game. It looks funny. The gameplay is simple, but I enjoyed it. Feels like you are farming in the middle of battle field, because everyone is shooting :D You should add some new things and change the movement of main character, because he moves strange.

I seemed to drop into a warzone, but didn't really know what I should do or how to do things. If you could flesh out a explanation or tutorial that would really help you I think.

javasaurus 2018-04-23 15:23

Nice game, incredible content for a 48 hour game. Maybe add a nice tutorial to your game page?

mintarcade 2018-04-23 16:57

Thank you for playing. Tutorial (how to play) are in the game as well as on a page - sorry if you need to read it, but it is short :)

jaychitects 2018-04-23 17:30

The game was really fun after I figured out what to do, and I love the graphics and sound. Good job.

I'm really impressed with all the systems you got in place! I gave you pretty extensive feedback on the stream, so I'll avoid retyping it here. Thanks for joining me in the stream and for submitting your game!

radioactiverambo 2018-04-23 20:18

Wow. This is a very fleshed out game for 48 hours. It's a bit rough around the edges, but the game is so feature-rich that it isn't even an issue. I like the low poly graphic style and comic-like shooting. That theme goes well with the social farming genre. Also, unlike some of the people that left feedback, I didn't find the controls confusing. Everything worked exactly as I expected. Perhaps it's because I'm more familiar with the genre? All in all, a really good entry.

pretty good game play. took me a minute to figure what i was doing. did not get to shoot a duck.. i should of looke dfor one :)

jima 2018-04-24 19:44

Nice one! I made an fps-farm too so I immediately clicked your game when I saw screenshots. I liked visual style but the game is very confusing at first. I was running in circles and was wondering why my gun is not working.

Btw, collecting apples gave me carrots, was it intended? :D

shinbaxter 2018-04-24 19:45

really impressive amount of gfx made for 48hrs. reminded me of the crazy bunny lol. i'm not good at using 3d move & look controls, so i struggled with it a bit. but i had fun shooting that carrot bazooka! XD good work dood!

=)

david-boeger 2018-04-24 23:57

Mint Arcade, you have proven yourself once again! Great game. I could honestly play this for hours. You really know how to design gameplay that is engaging over a longer period of time without relying on too many assets.

david-boeger 2018-04-24 23:58

In fact, this is only the 2nd game so far that I'm giving 5 stars across the board. Excellent job!

Kid: "Mommy, I'm scared"

Mother: "Don't sweety, soon well be out, go back to sleep now."

Father (holding a shotgun): "Why don't they change their expressions?! They're Demons, the whole lot!"

Mother: "Henry, are we gonna die??"

Baby: ""waaah-waaah"

coachsisyphus 2018-04-25 12:31

Simply awesome! That sums it up!

aaants 2018-04-25 14:11

Very impressive volume of work for one weekend from a really wide range of disciplines. Great fun too!

lerpish 2018-04-25 17:02

nice game loved the soundtrack but didnt enjoyed the sfx had a blast playing it on the livestream solid entrance

zombie-virals 2018-04-25 17:26

FPS Farming Simulator, that's definitely two genres I've never even remotely heard of mixing. After playing your last game "Laser Ball Arena", I'm not too shocked on how well you did this time, but even then you got a really solid game right here. Excellent job! I really like the Nintendo 64 style 3d graphics too, that was the first console I played with 3d as a kid, so it's got a nostalgic feel to it that still stands the test of time, very cartoony.

detectivelosos 2018-04-25 21:35

It's a pretty fun game. And me not reading the description really helped that fun factor, because I didn't know that other bunnies are supposed to "help", and so without knowing that I made it up myself that I'm using them as a carrot-guards. And that was hilarious!

But starting from the beginning of my experience. So here I am, learning how to farm carrots the most efficient way, planning on building multiple farms and upgrading them... Well, lucky me! There is actually no need for them at all! After two upgrades of the single carrot farm you have more carrots than you can farm without any automation tools. You are just walking through the field, picking carrots and planting new non stop (which is quite satisfying by the way) till your water bucket is empty, then you refill it and do that all over again.

I farmed a couple of harvests and became pretty bored and tired of my country life and living off the land, so I went on a little hike. During this hike I understood just how bad my physical condition is as I could not climb past a 20 degrees inclined hill. So I thought its better for me to go back to the usual routine before I had a strike climbing these damn steep hills.

On my way back I noticed a mysterious sign. I approached it and it stated "10000 gold". Woah! It's surely something special! It can't be just another farm, because they cost 5000 and this sign is all over here in the wilderness. Thats surely something great and expensive and extraordinary! Maybe even an easter egg or some endgame content! So I went back filled with dedication. I rolled up my imaginary sleeves and got back to work.

Harvest after harvest I picked and planted those carrots. It became the second nature. And finally after all that work (about seven to ten minutes actually) I finally had my 10k gold and even some spare. I approached that sign, I felt the importance of the moment, I felt the air slightly shaking. I braced myself and clicked it... AND IT WAS ANOTHER DAMN APPLE FARM!!!

So I stood there looking at my 10k gold just burning for nothing. Looked at all that hard work for nothing. I braced myself again, thought about all that wonderfull world waiting for me outside this valley. I hopped inside the truck, pushed the gas pedal to the floor and left to seek my destiny.

So, some words about the actual game now. It's pretty calming and relaxing experience. And it's a lot of fun sometimes to juggle those birds with rifle shots. But the game really lacks that ending, that goal towards which you move and do all the farming and grinding. So I made up one for myself.

magicera 2018-04-26 07:27

That's a very funny game, I like the idea which combines FPS and simulation together, you did a good job. In my game I try to combine FPS and RTS together but it seems a little weird.

sg-alin 2018-04-26 10:01

A well-played game that shows that much work has been done, very colorful, congratulations ...

oneseedfruit 2018-04-27 07:39

Wow, how did you manage to do this in 48 hours? Pretty cute and funny game!

Also, scrolling up with the mouse should move the selection left, and down should move the selection right.

miggyg 2018-04-28 20:24

Nice Game, a nice calm and relaxing experience like all farming games should be. The overall game feels very nice, although the movement is a little sluggish. I enjoyed playing it! Great Job!

mic-matrix91 2018-04-29 09:56

Excellent game! Good graphics and concept.. a very polished work!

simonhutchinson 2018-05-08 18:06

Very cool. This is fantastic work for a 48-hour compo entry. The graphics are adorable and the music is great too. It's a little too much for my tiny brain to manage the simultaneous tasks here, but I feel like I've been writing that in the comments for basically every game this time around.

levidsmith 2018-05-11 21:43

The graphics are nice, and I like the combination of FPS and farming. The controls felt sluggish, like I was moving around in mud. Not being able to use items while moving also felt like an annoyance. I kept wondering how to plant more carrots, after I sold my stock and then I realized that I didn't need carrots in my inventory to plant them. Having carrots as gun ammo (infinite) and a limited resource to be sold was a bit confusing at first.

cristiano-m-garcia 2018-05-13 21:42

Good job! Cool game!

I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.

I hope you continue with the project.
