The first HTML-based game I've seen this jam. Also one of the most innovative. It stuck to the theme very well while still remaining fun. My favorite part about it is the dialogue that the people spit out. Always amusing.

Ha the music changed a little bit!
Like the concept.
However after a few traders I got stuck when I couldn't drag an item out of the trade box.
Pretty funny dialogue from some of the npcs, kind of difficult to cater to everyone though then you end up out of money The music with the words gets a little annoying after a while but the other track is nice background music All in all not too bad, reminds me of WoW days having to manage backpacks with sets of gear
I liked this one! Very clever! It started to run slowly for me after a while; not sure if that's a local problem or something with the game itself. Still fun to see things from the merchant's point of view! I truly understand how annoying I'm being when I dump all my useless monster parts into their shops in a game now.
Fun game! Liked it! it would be even better if there was a easier way to organize the inventory. But i think it would probably be hard to implement something like that.
@konomizure We designed a _lot_ more features that we didn't get to, and totally agree! Having a "sort" button show up that _absolutely ruined_ any careful organizing you had managed to accomplish before clicking it was near the top of the "stuff to build" pile.
@grentacular The item placement code is extremely naive and causes the game to bog down (starts getting bad around 12 bags full of stuff on my system). Honestly stoked you played it long enough to notice!
nice concept! I liked the idea of being the shopkeeper, not the adventurer, and having to deal with all that INVENTORY! haha. good one!
Good concept! I feel like the garbage items-part could be skipped
very well done
Great concept! However, it's pretty boring. And it's almost impossible to tell what is going on because the user interface isn't great. However, you do have something to go off of, given more time.
Nice and simple mechanic it works quite well congratulations
Well, that was amazingly simple and interesting. Definitely, want to see more
I always have liked this kind of simulation games where I just have to maximize profit. This one does that with a good mix of inventory management. While simple in mechanics, I like how it's so randomized that it does feel like a lot of inventory and characters.
The calm music is fantastic, but the one with lyrics feels so out of place. That was an odd choice, but still respectable.
Regardless, this was an interesting thing to behold. Got me hooked in for somewhat longer than the average submission. I'll let the rest of the team know about this one. Kudos! :whale:
Now I know how the poor merchants in Oblivion and Skyrim must have felt. Thank you for sharing this insight :P
This was good and it fit the theme. I like the idea of playing a shopkeeper in an RPG, I've seen a few versions of it but this one felt a little different since they were requesting items and it wasn't just a simple arbitage game. Great potential here. It was a little buggy and confusing, if I put a monster part in the sell box I couldn't get it to go away and had to restart. Really appreciated the large variety of items and classes.
@joel-davis Thanks for the feedback! In retrospect we should have had it clear the inventory space by returning the monster part to your inventory automatically.
Nice graphics, I'm not sure if I was playing right, but It never seemed like I had what the people where asking for...
Very original! I really like dialogues! I think it would have been useful to be able to click directly on the object, rather than drag-and-drop it, or to have the "drop zone" closer to the seller. And I will have seen also objects like "Blue Fire Sword Killer of Dragons Of The Night +7" or other double-barreled name :p
@tinis-games That's a great idea! We also wanted to get long-long-long lists of item attributes you could look at but didn't get to it.
