Simple but efficient ^^ A drawback would be to only have to eat mice. Still it is a cute game

That took a turn for the gruesome as I started devouring mice left and right with that gore sound effect. Started off so cute but it's real life, yo. And what is wrong with that girl that she keeps bringing in food for the mice and things that will kill me? This is some dystopian stuff. Nicely done.
It is an interesting game, with a peculiar feel, have to say. "Domestic" is how I would describe it. I felt a little bad for the mice and the things the girl did didn't really make much sense, but I found that charming in a way.
pretty fun and really cute game
You're game feels like my home ! With mouses... Nice graphics, simple gameplay, realy fun. Maybe you can add a little bit more speed for the cat. But realy fun to play, thank you :)
This is a small and cute game, and I like the overall idea of playing as a house cat trying to survive in a house alone with a "small human". I also like the overall feel of the game, as it seems that you tried to make it feel very light and cute, which you succeeded in (Although, the sound effect for devouring mice is a bit gruesome and out of place).
Some feedback would be that if you want to extent the games life before the player gets bored, then there should be some more obstacles, and maybe a more extensive movement system for the cat, adding more than just the ability to walk and eat.
I also feel like the game could benefit a lot from making the house larger and maybe adding a bit of an element of exploration around the house, making the player able to look through cupboards to find more food and stuff like that.
All in all, I like the feel of the game but find the games mechanics a bit lacking, but for the time you had you did a good job with this.
This was a chaotic little game! I liked ti very much, the art was lovely!
I love the feeling this game evokes. Even though the characters have no movement animation, everything you see on the screen feels really warm and lively. The sweet interior of the room is lovely. The Advent wreath is an especially nice touch! Though the gameplay might still be lacking (I have to agree with everything Dogydogsun stated above) I still enjoyed my time until I decided to throw myself into the Roomba to see the Game Over screen. Nice work, keep it up!
Wow, I never thought we would get so much nice and sweet feedback <3 @Dogydogsun Thank you for your feedback, I agree. We had so many ideas we couldn't implement because running out of time (and sweets, and coffee, and sleep ^^'). The sentence of the weekend was "What do you have tooooo much of? Ideas for this game! The more you have, the worse it is." :D
What an adorable game, I really like the text and the premise of the game a ton! The graphics are incredibly cute and well made. I love how the "little human" randomly picks you up and moves you somewhere else.
I managed to get a decent score,

What is your highest? :)
Fantastic entry overall, I löve it!
This is a pretty cute idea. I enjoyed reading the preamble in the cat's point of view. Nice job (:
Cute! Graphics are simple and sweet. I like the main gameplay too -- though eating the mice was a lot more gruesome than I was expecting based on how cute everything is! I felt sorry for them :) Good work!
Hey folks,
I really loved that entry. Its so relaxing and simple. The idea of the daily life of a kitten is just too cute  The pixel art is really well done and the audio fits the gameplay just perfect. Oh and the child grabbing up every stuff it sees made me really lough xD
Thank you for this! I had a really good time.
Cute and relaxing. Well my cat did twitch some when I caught the first rat in the game. Easy to understand, and easy to play.
The game is just cosy and makes you feel happy and satisfied. Definitely the best, most adorable and most relaxing kitty game I ever played.
A very cute and relaxing game. Pixel style was fun and consistent, and the sounds matched up very well. The only gripe I have is the little girl is in dire need of some walking animation (which I will most likely attribute to not having enough time). Everyone else looks all right gliding around, she just seems... not right.
Things can get pleasantly hectic (though not stressful or unmanageable) very fast, which I liked. Cats redo.gif
We decided to continue working on this game. We had a lot of fun during LD, but had too little time to do all the stuff we wanted to do. This means, there will be more animations, more items and more fun! Unfortunately, we won't have time until after christmas at the 34c3. @jfraser314 @Dogydogsun @beebo-studios
The flavor-text and music really make help this very adorable
I'd like a cool-down after you've lost one of your lives: I lost two at the same time to the same animal or thing multiple times.
(Also this family _really_ has a rodent problem... I don't think just the cats will be enough )
Really cute game, great graphics!
Cute and fun!!
I didn't saw that hover was hurting :)
Well done!
Cute game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 40 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qheLSmToOo
