This game looks good, this game sounds good, this game plays good. A creative idea and polished gameplay. You did a great job.

dmay93 2017-12-05 03:38

The art and music were both fantastic! The gameplay was fun, though I wish the mana would recharge a bit faster! Thanks for the game!

papajeon 2017-12-05 04:08

Clearly my favourite game for the moment, bravo !

vlandemart 2017-12-05 04:16

The graphics and music are amazing. Gameplay should have been a little faster - currently mana is recharging very slow and it kind of breaks action.

samkee00 2017-12-05 04:22

I enjoyed the art and music, but it seemed like the actions recharged really slowly so I couldn't really do very much.

Awesome game! kept me hooked the whole time. It was hard to tell when I was taking damage though as their was no cues, which was my biggest gripe. Loved watching my army turn on me when I couldn't feed them all haha.

devmax 2017-12-05 08:21

Really polished gameplay and art. This could be sooo juicy with some sweet laser sounds effects! Maybe a quick flipbook tutorial of each powerup would help get players enjoying the game faster.

wow your cultist have a really nice design. the music is awesome. and I really like to walk in this town. great job!!

dogydogsun 2017-12-05 19:58

Love the art and atmosphere! While the music is good the game still feels a bit silent without sound effects. I also feel like the game could really benefit a lot from more player feedback, an example would be things like when you or your cult members take damage it's not really that clear, or when your cult members are about to turn into demons. It also feels like the cult members need just a bit too much food and it's very difficult to get many members.

But other than that this is good, I'm really impressed by the atmosphere you were able to create in such a short amount of time.

oh congratulation! Nice art! Can I follow it also on indiexpo? Do you have also a page there? This looks great! I looked for the games that used the #LDJAM but I don't find yours. So good luck!! I will hope to make a video about it!

The game is really polished. You got a lot of skills, and they all work and look cool, UI looks nice, though it lacks information about when we are taking damage and other stuff other people already mentioned. AI is great for the jam, also I rarely get stuck in between units.

The bigest flaw though, is the gameplay. I expected, that I gonna gradually grow my cult, fight with hunger and manage to get 100 by the day 30. The problem is, the hunger consumption grows much faster than the ability to convert townspeople. I ended up just slaying townsepeople and cultist alike to gather a lot of food, and rush to 100 when I was getting close to day 30. Also, it was dissapointing to get over 100 before day 30 and still lose. Something should be rethink there.

I listed a lot of harsh feedback, but beside that, the game is absolutely awesome. Cult/following theme is always great. Gaphics, music, UI, skills and AI stand out much above other games on this jam. Really well-done!

fantastic, fully realised game. Amazed how much you've managed to build in the time. Can easily see how this could be a full game. Cracking graphics and design, good job

oniwaka 2017-12-06 18:25

good art, music and gameplay! funny concept as well

seizethedia 2017-12-06 18:33

Really nice art and a fun concept. I love the feeling I got when gaining more converts and I expect it would feel even better once it gets SFX. The UI needs some work so that you can tell when you are being damaged as opposed to being followed. The color choices between some of the civilians vs. cult followers made it hard to tell them apart especially during combat when it's most critical. The police units specifically blended the most for me. Great submission!

honest-dan 2017-12-07 13:41

So impressive, especially as you did it all yourself. Loved the art, and I think I would have gotten along better with the game! I was also clumsy and accidentally killed my followers with my AoE ability! Once I got the hang of it, I think I found it more enjoyable! Good work

scowling-pastry 2017-12-08 04:28

This game is really fun. I absolutely love the art style and the music is great as well. No complaints. I'm absolutely garbage at the game though. Always kill my followers.

eli-delventhal 2017-12-08 04:38

The art and visual delivery / mood of this are the real winners. Well done there. I think the gameplay could be tuned – I never really felt like I was in control and stuff was happening a little too quickly. Accidentally hitting my followers when I tried to do much of anything was a major issue. Maybe a toggle for friendly fire?

frozedon 2017-12-09 05:49

Visually it looked great and it was funny how the gameplay had me building up cultists just to murder all of them before the end of the cycle. I wish it had sound effects. It would also been very nice if the powers would gray out if I didn't have enough energy.

iferit 2017-12-09 06:34

THIS WAS INERADICABLE! I would love to see this grow :o

savepoint 2017-12-09 06:38

Really nice work for such short amount of time. And an easy upgrade to a legit downloadable game. The whole mechanic of multiplication of followers via some kind of influence is a really dope idea and has a large yield for potential applications. The dada-esque title and floating fridge are funny! Very thorough sound and music work too. Although the intro music was sorta silly I appreciate the work.

The graphics look amazing... What tool did you use to create the graphics, they remind me of castle crashers and thought you might ha tool similar to the Flash IDE?

2018-02-06 15:22

Lovely graphics! I included it in my Ludum Dare 40 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtXXwu1asxI

Just a few weeks ago, I found an article about cookie casino https://www.ccr-mag.com/architecture-helps-attract-more-casino-visitors/. And I was surprised how profitable it was. There are many different bonuses and promotions constantly operating in gambling. I like online slots more. And I also like that besides pleasure I also get a good income.
