Classic tower defense game. The graphics are pretty simplistic and there are some problems, like a shop windows which cannot be closed unless you buy something or the game over text which is almost unreadable with dark colored background. But we all have to start somewhere, so nice job putting it together.
Maximum Power: 17985.00 Power Spent: 113809.80 Enemies Defeated: 186 Buildings Built: 22 Buildings Destroyed: 8
That was a pretty cool Tower Defense game. The game over screen should have been a light shade of blue. that would have made it easier to have read the screen. The graphics aren't bad and do the job and the gameplay was exactly what I expected it to be. Well done!

Is it called Tower of Power or Power of Tower? You can't seem to make up your mind.
So the graphics look like the usual programmer art and the sounds get a bit annoying after a while. The gameplay is fun enough though. It's a pretty normal tower defense game, so I don't have that much to say.
It needs a bit of polish, but it's not bad for a jam entry.
I agree with @Mik3. You did a good job capturing the classic TD game. I enjoyed how everything came back to one stat, power. That meant that when I was ok, I did really well, but when I started to fall behind, everything came crashing down quickly.
It would have been good to have the ability to upgrade since I quickly ran out of slots.
But the variety of enemies scaling into the later game was interesting, so good job keeping it going. Thanks for making this game.

A pretty standard TD game, but the one stat is a really good idea. I found the difficulty to be a little low - I am currently just letting it run in the background of my PC. In terms of theme, I like how you captured it in the thematic elements of your game but also the gameplay. One thing that was missing for me was some impact from the enemies - a sound or graphic or something to show that they are attacking would go a long way. Otherwise, nice game!
I like a lot the idea of a Tower Defense that runs everything on power, having your currency and munition be the same resource is an interesting plottwist! Even though the game does not have the best graphics, you manage to get the point accross!
I would recommend to lower a bit the volume of the weapons, my head almost exploded when the first laser tower started to attack :P
Keep up the hard work! :)
Audio's a bit too loud and harsh. Not sure what the things that go down the right side of the screen are supposed to be, but boy they're a pain; most turrets seem to miss them outright. I made it through 182 enemies with 138514 power spent before it ended. Max power was 19342.
Once a building was placed, it couldn't be removed or upgraded in any way, so I felt like I had no choice but to sit and wait a very long time before anything interesting happened. Enemies took a very long time to scale up past the point where they would die instantly upon entering. I'd like a bit more interactivity, so I could destroy buildings and replace them with other ones to adjust to enemy tactics.
The main problem for me was that you ran out of things to do very quickly. Placed buildings in every slot and then I waited for something to happen that required my attention.
The idea is good, to only have one resource but there is to little to do in the game. Upgrades to the building would have been great!

Nice idea, I like how you have to build enough generators to support the shooting of your towers. The main thing that is missing is a progression indicator, like how many waves have been killed. It would help you feel that the game is progressing. When you have enough firepower, it feels like the difficulty doesn't evolve or evolve very slowly for a long time. And you don't have anything to do anymore, as turrets doesn't get destroy really. Anyway, keep up the good work.
I'm fan of TDs, I really liked it. This game might be the only one I played so much till now. It's getting harder and harder but very smoothly. I don't like so much the TDs that can attack your towers, but other than that AWESOME game!
Edit: Oh you should have put Generators in the top of the list, I only noticed them after the second try.

Cool game, I have to admit I didn't find a lot of differences from classic TD games but still it was fun. Maybe I missed it, but is there a way to replay without running the game again? For this peculiar type of games restart should be more accesible! :) The sound effects are simple but at least your game does have some sounds! So it's a pretty complete game overall, good job.

Awesome game! I think the generator was kind of slow (or maybe I am just bad...)! As @deadlyalive said, having the (bugs?) attack your generators was kind of annoying! Overall, great game!!

The game's concept isn't new, but it's always fun and there's always space for one more, so congratulations on your entry. The top-down graphics are really nice as are the sound effects, but I think a soundtrack would juice it up a bit more.
Until I got how some things worked, it took some time here, and the pace felt a bit slow, but once I got them, playing was really fun! :)
Good job there! Keep making! ;)

I couldn't figure out how to start the post-compo version. There are some good base mechanics in the jam version though! I included it in my Ludum Dare 39 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXq5UkQ9iWI
