Love the puzzle style. Nice!
Very fun and very polished! I got all the way to Level 11. The music and graphics add a lot and it's very innovative.
Nice puzzles I enjoyed them! The Music was nice and went well with the setting. The art was very clean the Robot sounds effects were good. Well Done!
Great game, I had fun playing it :)
Good job, looks very polished. Sounds strange, but I am especially excited about the menus. :D The graphics and the sounds fit perfectly together and give a nice atmosphere. The puzzles are good and the difficulty curve works right.
It's fun and interesting game.
I don't know if this was intended but there seems to be only 1 way to solve the level?
Pretty fun! Most of the levels ended up being pretty linear though and I only had to restart 2 or 3 times but it made me think enough along the way that I would still consider it challenging enough. The sounds and graphics were nice too and I liked that everything fell into place at the end of each level.
That was fun. It is a little bit of challenging but this is pretty much fits with the fact that it is only 12 levels since escalating the difficulty faster can become overwhelming IMO. The art-style is clean and simple but I have a weird feeling that something is missing; may be adding a subtle pattern in the background would help. I can't wait to play an expanded version of this game. Nicely Done :D
Nice little game. I would say that you probably needed another 3 or 4 levels that mixed up the challenge, to get a better length. It's a little linear. But then there is a lot of polish here, and I'm sure that came with a cost.
I feel like the art is perhaps a little bit static - I'm not saying you needed to go nuts with squash and stretch, etc. but some particles or other flourishes would have helped keep the scene interesting.
But yeah, overall, a solid, polished little game :)
**Pros:** - Very nice mechanics that make the game interesting to play. (With ones added along like the buttons and walls) - The progression of difficulty makes it easy for the player to learn the mechanics. - Quite a large amount of levels that could easily be expanded.
**Feedback (Kinda nit-picks):** - Add more levels in the future - Maybe use a star system to show how well the player did in the level for completing the level within certain times eg: 30 seconds is 1 star , 20 seconds 2 star , 10 seconds 3 star and it could vary for level? (Because you don't know if 30 seconds for a hard level is good or bad)
**Conclusion:** - Overall a well rounded game with a good puzzle aspect with quite a few level's that vary in difficulty with some of the last ones being quite hard to solve. This is a good entry to LD! Well done~
Nicely Done! The one thing I did'nt enjoy about this game is that I found levels 1-6 easy, but was unable to complete 7. That might have just been me.
The puzzles were well designed, leading to a very nice difficulty curve. I didn't really like the levels being timed, because once you know the route its just a matter of hitting the buttons really fast which is not really what the game is about. Perhaps multiple routes or a star system as suggested above with optional tasks on levels as a form of completion. Good job!
Great game, I played through all of the levels. The presentation is extremely well done and the puzzles are quite fun. My only suggestion would be to make the puzzles slightly less linear. I was able to solve all of the levels except for 7 on my first try because the layouts of the charging tiles and conveyors usually outlined the optimal route to take. This is a fairly small issue and I probably only encountered it because I have designed way too many tile-based puzzlers recently, but I think adding in charging stations that never need to be used and more branching paths would force the player to more carefully about their moves. This, of course, is just a suggestion for if you are looking to develop this further, and this is definitely up there for one of my favorite games I've seen this jam.
Simple mechanics but challenging puzzles! you could expand on this! This is well executed at every level. A great entry in my opinion.
This puzzle game is very well executed. The graphics are smooth and, although the paths are somewhat linear, they are not always obvious.
There's hardly a better fit for the theme. I had my doubt about the puzzle mechanism at first, since the first levels are really just "go there, then here". Unless you take a mistep, you cannot lose.
Level 11 is the first one that starts to be interesting, and level 12 is the first level I really liked, because it actually made me thing twice before moving.
Presentation (graphics/sound/UI) is really solid; I just wish you had gotten the time to make more levels. I would have loved to see what you would have came up with!
very nice interpretation of the theme.
Very cool, great job, Stone brothers! I'd suggest leaving out the timer altogether, but that's about the only criticism I can think of. The game is very well polished and the puzzle design is impeccable.
Nice puzzle game with a good graphics and music! Good job!
Maybe levels are a bit too easy, especially the last. I think that more feedback for robot energy would be more practical.
We almost did this exact same puzzle game! This is great! At the beginning the puzzles felt more like hand holding but then "BOOM! Nope, sucka! You gotta think to solve these!" I like it! Very well done. Fun, simple, and enjoyable
^ What ProdigalSon said (I made a game with him).
I loved the puzzles and how you introduced one at a time and taught the player. Funny...I've heard that a million times about our game and now I'm complimenting you in the same thing XD
Very polished looking game! Could do with more puzzles and perhaps a more balanced learning curve. Level 1-6 were dead easy, as in there were no decisions to be made, and then I almost got stuck at level 7. After figuring it out I completed the game quite easily. Level 12 was a nice challenge, would like to see more levels like that!
