It looks neat but I couldn't play it. Maybe I did something wrong but my rocket's flame would go out immidiately every time and would go out a few moments after each ignition. I did as instructions on the game page said but still no luck to actually launch it. Also - reset button would be of great help. It sucks to reload page every time you need to restart game.
My bad @sun-wukong, it seems that I did not explain correctly > _
Try holding the space bar and releasing and pressing again when the power bar is yellow. If your engine fails you will have to restart it by tapping repeatedly.
The reload button is a great idea, thank you
Thank you very much for feedback! :)
The art of the game looks quite good, but the mechanics are a little bit confusing at the beginning. Maybe you should add the typical "smash the space bar" or something like that when the engine fails, and in game instructions could be good to for the lazy people that doesn't read the instructions here (not included in that people hahahaha).
Oh and this looks a game for android, you should upload it to the play store ^^
Controls are a bit tricky, especially restarting the engine! Otherwise it's a gread game! :)
Looks and sounds amazing! Game mechanics were confusing to start with but pretty fun once I'd worked them out.
I like the idea of the game. Here some feedback: - Make harder the punishment for failing the engine. All you need to do now is smash the spacebar and you will win anyway. - Give some more time between restarting the engine and pressing the spacebar. I barely could keep it running. - Put some clouds behind so the player can have a notion of it's going up or down.
Pretty thing! But as many mention before, smashing space = win :)
I enjoy play this game, very nice ppl!
This game is pretty neat, good job folks!
Great Game!!! It's really desperate when rocket engine fail!! heheeheh Good Job!
Very nice game, it was tricky at first but after a while no problemo :D
Black bird for the win! I really like ship selection feature. I guess power can be drawn more slowly and give more punishment to engine failue on red. Nice entry, great job!!
Ficou bem bonitinho, hein? hehehe e a música também, achei bem da hora! Eu demorei pra entender que eu tinha de segurar o botão, mas acho q eu q fui tapado mesmo. Parabéns pela jam, pessoal :D
Fun game, like the graphics and music.
Had a hard time finding the rhythm at first but after some time I hit a "sweet spot" and got to the space station yay!
Good job
Interesting Game. The graphics look good, the sound is nice, but I'm not sure how the game is supposed to be played, i only smashed the space bar repeatedly and reached my goal. Nevertheless good game, thank you for making it.
I keep trying to mash the spacebar to refresh the engine but it triggers it the nanosecond it's filled back up and stops me again. Very frustrating! Maybe a delay when holding the bar down so the game can tell the difference between holding it down and mashing it. Just my two cents. Otherwise the art is fantastic and the music is very catchy! Great work good sir!
The html5 version acts really weired, when the engine fails it just falls down on ground and does nothing.
The game looks and feels nice, but the spacebar thingy feels a bit too quick for a release/thrust, so I often ended up having to spam spacebar to properly thrust. The concept, though, is really nice and there's a lot you can still put into the game so it gains a bit more of a replay factor. :)
The controls, despite the thrust meter being a bit too quick, are pretty accessible and that's something really nice! :D
At least once I often ended up having Game Over even before the game started, though. :/
Overall, pretty nice entry and great teamwork there! ;) Good luck!
