Booting this up I was instantly blown away and immersed. The zero-g and the movement is just straight up cool. I played it for quite a while but couldn't end up beating the game. I got stuck in the room with the electricity balls. The usage of sounds was good; however, I do think the alarm is a little annoying and perhaps could be muffled or use spatial audio a little more (but really that is such a minor issue). For the visuals it reminded me of Abram's StarTrek film, which, I think you nailed. There is also an impressive amount of detail and effort put into the environments (nice work). That being said, much like Abram's StarTrek, some of the surfaces when combined with bloom were just too over the top for my tastes. In a game setting the bloominess combined with the motion blur actually made it a little difficult to navigate. The breathing effect was cool, but a little distracting after a while. In general, navigation was difficult because of getting stuck in weird places and the camera getting oriented to unnatural rotations. Though, in terms of realism that is probably about right. Overall, really impressed with what you both came up with.

AWESOME GAME STYLE , DESIGN , IDEA , good game ! Congratulations 5/5!!! Good Luck !! ^..^

kalyrical 2017-08-01 20:30

I really liked the world I was immersed in! The breathing sounds made me constantly aware of my state of panic, but I do agree it was eventually distracting. I did get stuck behind door frames or objects quite a bit which was annoying, but overall, love the visuals and gameplay!

sbeif 2017-08-01 20:33

The mood here is amazing. It perfectly delivers the feeling it's supposed to.

bill-zeng 2017-08-01 20:35

I really like the art in this game, from my experience 3D modeling is very hard to pull off. The audio added mood to the gameplay and the zero gravity was also a nice touch

strongbowgold 2017-08-01 20:40

I like it, good idea and nice design

josehzz 2017-08-01 20:45

Nice game, immersive and cool

pixfixtv 2017-08-01 20:53

Very nice and immersive, though the constantly light flashing combined with the motion acceleration made it difficult to play for long periods of time for me.

mspawa 2017-08-01 21:02

I couldn't play it for a long time because I got a little dizzy. But in the short time played I managed to open two doors, and I enjoyed the game. Nice graphics and I like a lot the breathing sound, it gave to the game an immersive atmosphere. Really nice work! BTW I missed some indicator of "time left" or something like that, and an escape button or something that I can use to close the game ;)

anudin 2017-08-01 22:03

This game looks amazing and I like the movement alot! Music and sound are also really great - except for the alarm sound which is repetitive. Also the blur was way too present - it was a really nice addition but I would think about stopping the blurring completely after the first few seconds. Together with the motion blur it was way too much for my brain to process. But all in all an amazing entry - even though I couldn't get past the second door because there was no key and the doors won't let me through

antaresvaldemar 2017-08-02 13:44

Really cool, the gameplay is quite minimalistic but it seems you went all out with the design and atmosphere and it creates a great impression. As others have said getting stuck on things was a bit frustration but I got use the movement after a while. I'm not sure if the game is completeable, I made it through a couple of rooms and couldn't find any more keys. Great work over all!

ronan13 2017-08-02 13:44

Really cool, same as pretty much everyone for the sound effects, cool but alarm a bit too much. Amazing atmosphere, very immersive and well done. Unfortunately I am extremely prone to car sickness and had to quit quickly, it made me way too dizzy :( (camera spin > movement speed = puke) I found also that moving around was a bit frustrating. Still cool!

theflyingkeyboard 2017-08-02 16:11

Really nice game, but rotating camera can give a little headache and motion sickness. Graphics looks nice, sound is ok. Fun concept of gameplay but needs some more polishing.

battle-buddy 2017-08-02 16:24

It defaults to Ultra settings and I had under 5fps. There wasn't any way to close the game either, so I had to Alt+F4. Only the low graphic settings was manageable.

mrchippy 2017-08-02 16:28

The mood in this was amazing. Everything from the beginning really added to the feel of the game. It got a bit disorienting at times but that was probably intentional. I could see it making someone sick which you might want to work on. The movement was cool but sometimes you would get stuck on walls and it would be kind of hard to get to where you wanted to go. I spent about 30 minutes on this and got to the room with the suns. With how hidden some of the keys were it might have been a good idea to add a guide for people that want to complete it but can't figure something out. If you were to do that I would definitely come back and finish it.

Oh and I noticed the robot is flipping you off. That seems like a detail you probably wanted someone to notice so I have noticed it.

aterlamia 2017-08-02 16:58

I liked the mood the music and darkness gave. Controls were a bit hard for me but i think it was because the game is pretty heavy and i don't have an highend machine. BUt what i could play looked and sounded amazing. I did have to alt f4 out of the game because it was not responding to the esc key.

sempra 2017-08-03 12:32

@ everyone : Clues about the cards to finish the game will be given at the end of the answers, if you want to see the end (not really polished because of the lack of time but we had the main lines and wanted to thank you all !)

@flukeshot: Before everything: Thank you!!! For being the first one to come here and play our game, and also for the very detailed comment you let us :D It's awesome, you're awesome and everyone here is too :D For the said details> We know about the alarm sound, to be honest we wanted to make it located around some rooms, maybe add a speaker in some corners but didn't had the time for that in the end of the Ludum :D This was a bit short counting on the fact we added the sound way too late in the testing phasis (we first forgotten this one among all the others xD). So the alarm annoyed us too, but we weren't able to make it located with the rest of the challenge time allowed. (To be honest, we should have took a bit of extra-time to make it, but we wanted to play fair with 72hours no-more :D) For the general ambient and the visual effects, it's a choice we made, considering the player is lacking of oxygen/air to breathe and got to get dizzy with the no-gravity thing and this lack of air. Thank you again for your feedbacks and we hope to see you around the next time we make a game :D

@Rapter: OMG THANK YOU MAN! :D

@kalyrical: Thank you! For the breathing sound, we wanted it exactly the way you felt it: reminding AND disturbing :p I have to admit we got stuck too sometimes but it's a choice we made. We should have countered that easily but we wanted the player to be forced to go backward or in another place to get the good position and come again XD

@sbeif: Thanks a lot! We wanted the mood to be such precise!

@bill-zeng: Thank you! We managed to put some assets of the unity store (which we thank for everything) together in a good way, and we created some other good things to make it like this :D

@strongbowgold & @josehzz: Thank you to both of you for playing! We are glad you enjoyed it :D

@pixfixtv: Yeah we're sorry for that, but that's also the point, feeling in a hurry for not playing a long time normally :p Maybe we made the cards too hard to find but we wanted to add a little extra challenge too !

@mspawa: Sorry you got dizzy! We hope you hadn't puke aswell :p Thank you for your feedback too :D We thought about adding a timer to go back to the ship in the end but the idea passed out when we were polishing details to deliver the game on time :p For the escape/pause/quit button, it's the same thing, but i'm sure we will make some polishing once @sundr0 comes back from holidays :D

@anudin: Thanks a lot to you! As said before, the alarm need to be located around rooms with speakers but we shouldn't make it with the delivery time, maybe we will deal with it in a few days =) For the blur thing, it increases with the lack of oxygen (during the progression in each room to the end) to make it a little harder to play.

@antaresvaldemar: Thank you for your feedback! It's really appreciated :D I'll get some clues for the keys so everyone could go to the end ;)

@ronan13: Thanks! :D Sorry for your car sickness avoiding you to finish the game XD That's the thing with no-gravity and motion blur i guess we need to deal with this plague :p For the sound effects, we will get through this alarm thing soon i think ! We'll see ! :)

@theflyingkeyboard: Thank you! We passed our test sessions to make the player turn over himself. This was funfor us but we know what you want to point here xD

@battle-buddy: Sorry you have such a toaster! XD Mine was crying after the testing sessions we made so i can understand your feeling ! I tested also in low quality and, except for some very little lightings, you don't lose that much of the overall mood and displays ;)

sempra 2017-08-03 12:32

@mrchippy: Thank youuuu! You deserve the clues as anyone who already played! We want people to first try by themselves, but if you want clues after that first try, you can have it everything will be settled at the end of that post! Oh, and about that robot, i don't see what you're talking about ;) http://imgur.com/JaXAaFB

@aterlamia: Thank you for your feedback! I also have a middle-range computer and it was hard for him from times to times. So i understand aswell. You can try to play it in low quality, that doesn't retire a lot of the game standards, and it allows you to be more fluent (but you might get dizzy xD). For the esc key, we will work on that in a few days i guess with some polishing we didn't had time to make to deliver on time !But it should be added yes :D

I want to thank you all again for your feedbacks! We really appreciate it and they are the Most Valuable Comments in our hearts! Be sure your opinions will be taken in consideration :)

For the ones who want to give it another shot to find all the keys, here are some screenshots for the locations ;)

This is an incredibly polished game, and I was instantly amazed by the level of quality and the general idea for the game. The only two things I would say is that I think the post-processing effects may be a bit overkill, they look good but they also are a bit much (specifically the bloom). Secondly, I think some of the darker areas should be slightly more lit up while some of the lighter areas could be made a lot darker. I didn't get passed the third key, but I spent about 10 minutes trying to look for it and after that my eyes couldn't take much more of the flashing lights. Wicked game though, I really hope you guys go on to develop this further!

sarrixx 2017-08-05 18:22

I included your game in a let's play video of my favourite LD 39 games if you would like to check it out, I'll leave a link here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUQ2VgrmLuM&t=676s

split82 2017-08-08 19:00

Excellent graphics and audio. It was a little bit hard to play it for more than 5 minutes. All those flashing lights and movement :D But I enjoyed it anyway. Great job!

recursor 2017-08-08 19:34

Wow very nice job on this one. The audio, music and graphics all mesh together wonderfully to create a great mood. Great quality stuff for only 72 hours
