Nice graphics and music enjoy it a lot! It would have been nice to have had more movement options other than just jumping, but otherwise its a fun little game!

Nice little endless runner game! I like the entrance animation and how the character just casually enters a dark dungeon to do his morning jogging routine (or something along those lines, that's just my interpretation). Took me a while to realize there's a double jump! Sometimes the battery packs seem to spawn so far from each other that there's practically no chance to reach the next one (or maybe I'm just that awful). Overall a nice experience!
I got addicted, I love it. I'd play it in my tram journeys if you released an apk. Just add more rooms. The title is 10/10, would catch a random Play Store traveller.
Some runs felt undoable in the very beginning.

My best is 1361! It's a good game but the only problem is that, sometimes I don't find any battery in the way so I die no matter what I do. But although it's nice .

Wow, 1.180766762e3676? How long did you play?
Thanks for all the lovely feedback so far! The battery generation can be a bit borked sometimes, but it's a feature, not a bug ;-) (hoping to rewrite how they generate when we begin to polish)
Can't wait for 'Quick, Run To The Next Battery Pack Before Your Torch Runs Out And You Are Left In Darkness! 2' lol. Awesome art work. Kinda reminds me of Spelunky.
Hey there, your graphics is really nice.
In my opinion you should try using your skills in other types of games. My point is that endless runner is fun for a while, then it gets boring, player turns the game off and never plays it again. That is sad because you have put so much effort into making it look nice, and people will try to beat the record for a while and thats it.
Have a nice day, and if you'll have time, I'll be glad if you check out our game too ;) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/step-out-of-the-light
Hello, this is a very cute game. The graphic and audio is light and friendly unlike a lot of other darker games. The gameplay was fun for a short time but I did not feel like there was a learning curve to the game, maybe there could have been a different obstacles that needed different movement to avoid or get over. Also I loved the animation at the very start of the course.

The chunk design is surprisingly simple yet good. Very nice job there. Music loop doesn't get annoying (which is great for a runner). Jumps can get bit annoying after a while. Decent graphics. Perhaps some more easy routes with less energy to harder/less energy options within chunks. But overal really great! (PS macOS build works great!)
This was wonderful to play. It feels looks and sounds great. I love the characters design and stuff like the mushrooms show a nice attention to detail. The atmosphere makes it feel hectic which really elevates your use of the theme. A lot of the games I've played so far just have your power draining slowly but here you're rapidly running out of power and you know it. A well executed and thoroughly enjoyable game overall. Well done. you should be so proud of this!
Nice music for once! A rarity in ludum dare entries. Good job on that. The graphics are nicely rendered too and add up to a chill mood. The level generation is unfortunately flawed, as I found myself without any batteries to pick up, or with a ledge that I couldn't jump, thus forcing a game over.
@shinmera yeah, occasionally it sadly refuses to spawn a battery. Hoping to polish it up and rid it of any frustrating bugs like that. Spent a good couple of hours trying to work it out on the final day of the jam! Probably not the best thing being a bit sleep deprived :P Glad you enjoyed it! :-)
Really a fun game, lacks a bit of a system to progress, but I'm not sure it would be nice with this kind of game. I came here following an advice and i'm not disapointed. Great job!
I made it 1217 :D It is but difficult if you miss only one battery its done :D Very nice concept in this topic for a runner game.
I enjoyed this game, it is really simple but well executed. However, the game was a little bit too repetitive, I would have liked too see some more situations (or however you call them).
My highscore is 1770 :D
A bit punishing if you miss a battery, but fun. I got 885 after a couple of tries. Like the music and the mood of the cave. Good job
The graphics, lighting effect and animation quality was high. Music is cheerful and very fitting to the game. The gameplay is simple but challenging, I find it a bit too punishing that if you ever miss a battery, you die. I think at least at the beginning of a run, the battery should appear more frequently and as the game goes on, it appears less frequent. Also how come water doesn't kill you and you can walk on top of it, yet there are parts where you can fall down to underground and die? :p
Overall pretty high quality game, I had fun. I got 831 at the end.
Absolutly great quality! Love the music , the artstyle and especially the I love the feel of it. I got 1100!
Please play, rate and comment our game aswell: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/disaster-on-nebula-one
Nice job on the theme. "(Endless) Running" and "Running out of Power" is spot on. I played for a while before I ran into a pit that I didn't see (because the torch only looks forward). Would be neat to see some powerups or something that really changed the gameplay or increased the depth of gameplay. Nice job for a LD entry.
