Honestly, I can't get enough of your graphics style and animations. They are really quite special. It was quite straight forward game and the simple color scheme really helped in guiding you towards your goal. Except for first usage, you probably could have skipped displaying the X help. Not that it was too much either since the game was so short. Some of the X transitions, like starting to balance the rope could probably also just gone automatically. But again, the main point was the graphics and animations, and they were superb as always.

I wish it had sound and was longer so bad, seems like all the time you spent on the Jam went into drawing sprites and making animations, and that's the reason why it looks so madly atmospheric thanks to the art style similar to Plug & Play.

Can't say too much about the game since there's not a lot of it. Graphics and animations are neat as usual. It's always nice to make something even with limited time. Have you ever gone over your animation/rotoscoping process anywhere? Would be an interesting read.

Wow, these animations are fantastic! I'll bet it took you the first half of the jam just with the intro animation of the dude getting in bed haha. I actually got a little anxious while he was crossing the rope...

I can't really give any feedback other than that I wish it were longer!

Wow. You should absolutely make something more out of this. I looks really cool and I think you could tell a great story with the aid of these visuals.

As it is right now the game isn't really a game. The controls feel clunky and the player is guided a bit to much, leaving to room to explore. But there is absolutely potential!

The animations are great as usual, but it definitely would have benefited a lot from some audio. I was also a bit confused by the "press x" prompts that never went away at first; they initially gave me the impression that there were multiple interactions available (on the light especially it makes the player expect to be able to turn it off).

It's a shame you didn't have time to finish, it's a promising start!

I'm very impressed by the graphics. The amount of work needed for that nice rotoscoping animation style is scaring me. It's not a fitting technique for jams, it seems, as the game content seems pretty limited. Are you still expanding the post-jam-version or did you call it finished?

So impressiv graphics, its something rarely used, but really good. Hope you keep going with the game!

Animations are great, except walking, that looks a bit of. Other than that I really miss the sound, also I wish it was a bit longer.

Like others have said above already - really nice atmosphere thanks to the art and animation. Wish there was a bit more interactivity and/or a puzzle or two to solve!

Strong expression is in that short amount of time! At least in the visual way which I like. Especially animation is a masterpiece!

Short - but beautiful! Would love to see more! Very different - I've not seen anything like this before. Very nicely done - please give us more!

I'm just going to mirror what everyone else says, really impressed by the art style and the quality of animation, too sad you didn't have enough time to do more. I'm definitely going to check out your other games when I have the time!

Good entry! I really loved the animation, and the art style was pretty cool! I wished there was music (which would have added a lot to the mood of the game). I also wished that there was more interactivity rather than just pressing X. In fact, I would even say that a lot of the pressing X was for the sake of pressing X (why do i need to press X when i start walking on the rope, for example?) -- I felt like you added that just to fake choices. But again, you probably spent a lot of your time making those sweet animations, so props to that! (Maybe if you're focusing so much on one aspect it's a good idea to have a teammate next time -- just my two cents )

The animation is the best I I've ever seen in Ld. Nice job. Environment is really good. I love gameplay and again it looks very good.

toonteamj 2017-05-13 01:33

The animation is wonderful, although I feel like more should be left for the player. It feels more like a guided tour than a game.
