You need to upload the gamename_Data folder with the game .exe or else it won`t work. Seems like a cool game =)

smdeveloper 2017-04-26 05:44

Fixed , thanks !

thefunattic 2017-04-28 20:21

It's a good idea but you need to keep working on execution. It could develop into something great ! How about making your resources, like Meat, appear on screen ?

Feel free to check out our game : https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/bubblenaut Have a nice day ! :)

occultone 2017-05-01 09:03

I played this on Livestream a Few Days Ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiOC3F43xF0

I wasn't able to figure out how to play, I tried moving the temperature up and down, and doing things in the menu but nothing seemed to happen.

smdeveloper 2017-05-01 12:30

@occultone Yeah , now its update and (at least) bug free but limited , sorry for the bug ( really funny ahahahah) , tnx for try my game .

@thefunattic tnx for trying it , i still going in developing .

dayvidmoreira7 2017-05-01 20:38

Captei a ideia e curti bastante, porém acho que pode dedicar-se a aprimorar a arte!

smdeveloper 2017-05-01 22:58

@dayvidmoreira7 yeah for sure !

chronosv2 2017-05-02 17:50

This is a really cool simulation in the making. I like the detail and thought you put into keeping the animals alive.

With some more work and expanded mechanics, I honestly think this will be a great game. Keep up the great work!

bestnickname 2017-05-02 20:20

Interesting idea. It currently feels a bit too much like a click spammer (if I was playing the game correctly). It might be in the game already and I might simply be missing it, but it would be interesting to see interactions between the various animals (for example t-rex hunts dodos etc.).

Reminded me a lot of when I was at a game reserve and the warden was telling me about how they had to introduce animals very carefully in order to not break the ecosystem. Definitely feels like this game has a lot of potential :)

smdeveloper 2017-05-03 04:52

@bestnickname I would say that for now it is a click spammer yes, but you understand the idea !! It was just what I wanted to do and I thought right away, I'm working on it, thank you so much for trying the game!

@chronosv2 Yeah I'm working on it !! Appreciate your feedback!Thank you!!

linus 2017-05-03 19:20

The idea seems interesting but I couldn't play the game because it doesn't work on Linux, I tried with wine but the game did not display text properly. If you could provide a Linux build I would be glad to try out the game.

stefvanschie 2017-05-04 08:52

The game is interesting but lacks content. Other than keeping the temperature around 20.0 degrees and reaching the max amount of food and water, everything just happened on its own. After five minutes of clicking, I got 100 of each animal (it seemed like that's the max.). The game could become good but has to have more content in order to achieve this.

davidrico 2017-05-04 09:22

The concept seems interesting, but the game is lacking a lot. Visually, the animals could have some animation, and maybe reflect the amount of each species. Also, more buttons and more variables could add some depth to the gameplay. Keep it up!

valiap 2017-05-04 09:27

The idea of saving extinct animals seems fun. I think maybe you could add features like managing cost, stuff, etc. And maybe the animals could have more behavior. 保护濒危动物的动物园听起来挺有趣的。不过感觉可以加一些管理成本、员工之类的功能,然后动物感觉可以加入更多行为。

roy 2017-05-06 03:57

1. the goal of the game is not very clear 2. I try to change the different variables in the game, but nothing happened. So more feedback is definitely needed. keep on completing your idea!

lowride 2017-05-11 17:17

I like everything similar to a zoo tycoon (even more if it has extinct animals!), so i liked the idea, but without art feedback it is kind of difficult to know what is happening like weather events

amertak 2017-05-12 17:32

Alien Invasion!

Honestly, kinda lost on the game. Had no idea what to do. Tried to move temperature down to -20C but nothing happend really.

Maybe cool idea, needs some tutorial and goal :)

mar3k 2017-05-12 20:47

The concept is pretty nice and unique, but the execution would need some more work. Not just adding more animals, but also make it more interesting add some animations and like screen warning for stuff like when animal is going extinct or animation for when there is a tornado and probably something to keep the player going, not just seeing the animal count going up, but also getting new species in the process. I think if you would have more time and knowledge (as you said) this could have been a really solid entry! Good job though!

zgragselus 2017-05-12 21:00

The concept is interesting, but I lack any further feedback to the player. Also, this needs a tutorial - I had no idea what to do from the start.

For some reason, I was unable to kill all the animals, but that probably was not the goal of the game.

Good job making the game!

ashdnazg 2017-05-13 07:41

It's an amusing clickfest game which could be made incredible with some sound effects

conk 2017-05-13 08:43

Interesting idea, the game lacks feedback though, if you had the amount of animals increase as the pop went up that would help a lot. This would help when animals started dying too. Also seasonal changes with the background would help show that time is passing.

5mixer 2017-05-13 08:53

I liked the idea of maintaining a zoo, but I think that a little more feedback could have made the game more enjoyable :) By that, I mean click sound effects etc, and making the numbers on the right have a more visual representation. I kinda got how it might have linked with small world, but again, I think more visual and audio feedback would have really helped :)

stending 2017-05-13 09:19

Great idea, it could turn into a really awesome management game! But like others said before me, I think it needs a bit more visual details, to make everything more alive!

Nice entry anyway, keep it up!

jakob-willforss 2017-05-13 09:43

Seems like a nice idea! Right now it feels mostly like a prototype, but I got the idea. Good luck with future developments!

jerm 2017-05-13 10:13

I didn't really understand this game, sorry. It seems that clicking the buttons didn't really affect the simulation much so it didn't really feel like I was making any impact. Also it seemed impossible to lose even when the temperature got to minimum or maximum.

It's a good start, but I think it needs more to engage the player. Perhaps a goal or some way to win/lose the game. Or have a more visual simulation (instead of just numbers on the side) and have the player actions actually have visible effects in the game.

pixetrichor 2017-05-13 11:20

I really liked it, though I believe that with better execution and giving the player more things to do, it might turn out great! :)

Though, assuming that the zoo's animal population has no relation to anything outside, I noticed that, when some animals' count drops to, for now let's say just 0, it is possible for the count to go back up. Just felt a bit odd.

Either way, this is a very nice entry! Keep it up!
