This is great! :D
Controlls are a bit clunky, but cool.
The graphics are really good, and I liked the intro!
Good job!

nice lol!good job :D
Loved the intro and outro! Short and not the most intricate game out there, but the theme/plot really makes it fun.
Short but fun. The intro is great, especially the dinosaur speech sound! I have it stuck in my head now.
A bit too short, but really fun :) I had trouble understanding how to avoid the first thunder, but when I got it, it went ok.
The graphics are great, and the voiceover of the T-rexpresident is just hilarious x)
Well done :)
Pretty hard, but after many tries I beat it. The dinosaur is cool!
Wish I could see the dino-town explode. Controls are a bit too slow. Grahpics/intro are awesome. Having near-destruction experience by moving super fast and turning around just in time to not crash was a memorable experience. Clouds are a nice ambience touch.
Great animation and awesome look of the city. I had fun playing it for the short time and it was well rounded. Maybe you could work on that you get more information what's ahead/above of you and get some variation in the obstacels. The only thing I missed was some background music.
Nice graphics, challenging game! I included it in my compilation video series of Ludum Dare 36, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/iJTT4Yba0N8
This game explains so many mysteries of the past in one fantastic go. But I must say, for being intelligent they sure constructed a very precarious escape pod. I made it out though, on the second try. The ping-sound of cracking the glass shell was a really nice touch. One thing, I first didn't understand how to control the rocket at all, after a bit of trial and death I got it flying. So maybe start the game with showing some hint on how to propel it.
I got stuck upside down on two occasions. I wasn't sure how to escape. Maybe or taking some additional damage if you sit upside down for too long would account for that by simply ending the city when you land in such a way. I love president Trumprex, for whom the voiceover work was superb. The ambience is nice.
Lol, I loved that intro! "Rawr-rawr. Ra-ra-rawr. Rawr..." I also really dig the game art. Maybe somewhere in space, the dinosaurs are looking at and studying us through a powerful telescope.
For some reason, there's no way to restart the game (no keys work) if you flip the island upside down with the glass dome intact, so I had to close the game and relaunch it.
The game is actually pretty basic, but controlling the island's rockets were somewhat confusing at the start.
Often, the glass dome immediately just takes three hits and shatters once I collide with a wall, for some reason. Also, the island always swerves to the right, even though you thought you've balanced the rockets evenly.
It was also a bit difficult to know what was above or beside the island, and once you noticed that there was, the island was flying too fast towards it for you to maneuver around.
There's also a couple of bugs in the game. The first one I already mentioned in the first paragraph; the second one, if the island slides within a corner formed by a normal cloud intersecting with the left or right grey (boundary?) clouds, the island will get stuck, and you have to close and relaunch the game; finally, there are rare occasions where the island will collide with one of the clouds and bounce away with quite a bit of force.
I do have to bring this up: the game is too short. If you had the opportunity, you should've made the level a little longer.
For the game's shortcomings, it's not too bad, and it does provide a bit of challenge. Again, I found the intro amusing.
Hi! Very funny and good looking presentation. It was also fun to play - but difficult (for me).
Interesting idea for the game, but i did not complete a game, too hard for my skill ;/
Great and funny game! I loved the animation, the art and the sfx. Controls were hard, but it was a good challenge. Adding BG music and sfx when the island gets destroyed would be nice.
What a fun game! I managed to beat it in my 4th try. I found it fairly difficult, but not too frustrating. The controls are great ones you get the hang of them. The sound was great as well!
I loved the idea, and how you used the theme. Everything about this was actually pretty great! Good job!
Hilarious, it was a really cool game and the controls worked relatively well. Nice take on the theme. Good job!
Well, that was easy. Only had to replay 3 times. One time because I flipped upside down in the ocean, and couldn't get back up.
Well, it was pretty hard to control Arklantis, but not too much so. I'm still debating whether it was a good idea or not to make one thruster more powerful than the other. It seems to me like the center (intended?) path was a bit more difficult than the side paths I chose to pursue. However, even from the beginning, I was thinking the central path was a tad bit unfair.
The graphics are really nice, though. Keep it up!
I really liked the mouth sounds, that's a great old LD tradition! A nice simple concept, though I think a radar would have been a big improvement, since the limited view meant that hitting the gas was almost always a path to crashing. I also thought the left mouse was giving me slightly more thrust than the right, but I wasn't sure about that.
A good showing for 48 hours. It's clear you planned your time wisely!
