Hi, nice game and congratulations ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.

hey,
really good game. good job mate :)
sound track is good, graphics are Brilliant, movement is smooth, no bugs in programming, everything is timed good.
very good job :)
only complaint is how long the girl takes to fall down on the ground.
besides that, everything was amazing :) .
keep up the good work i'd totally love to see more of you.
also, the main character woah, i think i fell in love :D
although, i must say, it is just more efficient to spam click and shoot arrows instead of powering up and then shooting that one arrow
and nice touch with the secret levels too :)
keep up the good work, would love to see more of all of you.

I like how well the bow aims and controls. I found that the character is incredibly weak though. I think it took me 10 arrows or more to take down the first robot. That and you die in one hit.
Cool game, I liked the background story, audio is also really good.
Art is nice, specially for a jam, however it feels as if there are different styles mixed up in one game. Every asset is different from another. I mean: the main character is cartoon, the robots are semirealistic, the background art looks like a high detailed digital painted environment concept art, and the foreground elements look simpler and less detailed than the background (trees, ground, stones). Again, it looks good, but I think that it would be look awesome if it was all the same style or if you are going to combine two different styles, trying to integrate each other.
About the gameplay, it is intuitive and funny. I first tried on Firefox, I couldn't play because it was very laggy as you already guessed. So I later tried it on Edge and it was fine (YEAH, I don't like Edge neither, but it was the first one I clicked on). Sometimes the character didn't respond to the controls but I think it is because of the browser.
Overall you made a nice game, good job guys!

Thanks very much for your comments.
I just correct a bug so you can now have all the sound track (we had one for each 3 levels but only the first one was available) and another one that blocked the access of the second secret level. (I remove 2/3 robots to make it easier so people can finished it and see the end. If it's too difficult, you can also ignore the robots and run to the end ^^)
@GrassWhooper After your comment and other from friends I also reduce the time needed for powering up the bow.
@Aaranos Yes I know that. We wanted to and some extra life in the hidden levels but we didn't have the time to do it. And we wanted that user used the powered arrow that can make 10 damages when fully loaded. A simple arrow deal only 1 damage.
@AnaGF I didn't feel that way when we developed the game but after your comment I agreed on the robot part. For the laggy part I really need to look at that for our next jam because I already had lag on our previous LD with phaser.
Really great music and art. The intro was a bit slow, maybe let the player run and jump around while you reveal the story. The platforming was a bit clunky but a fun game overall.
Really lovely art and music!
There were a few times that I fell down a hole, because I thought I could see a platform down below.
I found it annoying that space and esc both brought up the menu, as I kept accidentally pressing space to jump. Also I didn't read the description properly and kept it small, so the about button covered half the words. I know that was my fault, but maybe just remove it for the intro?

Art is awesome but for such small amount of time. I would suggest to differentiate a little bit background and foreground graphics leaves from trees blend with grass and sometimes you dont see where to jump immediately. Also unskipable exposition is bad thing give players option to jump right into action.

I'm stuck after the first humanoid robot, can someone help me? :D
BTW, the graphics are beautiful, I wish I could do this level of graphics for my games.
I really like the music and the art, the dialogs are not bad either.
Very good work on the player sprite and the background, the game has a great overall aesthetics.
I like how the collected energy items floats to the corner and how the energy swirls in the bar, nice touch.
also, LD36 is a nice name for a robot ;)
On the first pitfall, the branches in the background look like grass so you can't really tell it's a pit! got me there XD
The dead robot has a hit box way above it to walk on, should be easy to fix.
Too bad only some branches get semi-transparent, and some of the energy pickups are invisible until touched? at least there is one like that on the second level.
the sound or visual feedback on getting hurt or hitting enemies are missing, and would really help.
some sound of shooting would be nice too.
The one hit kill seems a bit too much..
Overall this is a great entry! well done!

I had a version using CANVAS instead of WebGL after seeing that lots of people had a very slow version.
It was really nothing to change on Phaser (just a parameter really ^^) and it seems to be really quicker on Firefox and Edge.
@A Little Red Panda Esc brought you to pause mode normally and space should have no effects. If you hit Q on pause, then you will be brought to main menu.
@xesenix Yes, I think we will pay more attention next time on the foreground. For the cutscenes, you can skip them using the Esc button.
@Mathieu Muller What do you mean by stuck? You can't move or you don't know where to go? You need to go the most you can on the right to finished the level.
@CyberStarLight I know for the dead robot hit box. But I had some difficulties changing it when I saw that so I choose to ignore it because we had not much time left.
For the branch getting semi-transparent, I didn't find a good way to do that but that was my first idea.

Nice yummy visuals, enjoyable music and fun too play.
Took me a moment to realize firing arrows was done with the mouse (expected it to be key bound with the movement).
Well done.

Nice looking game and good music. Only minor points were that It wasn't quite clear what could be shot and what couldn't (I shot the first robot about 20 times to no effect) and at times the undergrowth at the bottom of the screen looked like a lower platform, but when I tried to jump down to it I died. Once when the game lost focus when I refocused it wouldn't respond to keyboard input but clicking the mouse still made it fire.
Great job though, a really solid entry, thanks!
Nice graphics!!! Love the bow sprite and the robotic companion. Getting hit is super easy though, maybe having a health bar? Amazing work! Music is super catchy

Really nice graphics. Liked that there is hidden levels. Enemy hitboxes could decide to not collide with player when enemy is dead. Player health would be beneficial. Cool music. Well done.
Ok.. really ambitious game you tried there! As stated above, graphics are really appealing for a jam but lack some consistency. There are too many styles, AnaGF explained it very well. The same could be said for musics too, mostly for the boss theme that could be a FTL track :p It lacks some feedbacks and sounds too to know if we are hit or if we actually do damage to enemies.
But like I said, it's a pretty ambitious entry and it's just some details that need to be fixed in order to be really good! It could become a Horizon Zero Dawn in 2D with your gameplay and background :)
Whoa, the graphics are amazing! Though the style of the main character (strong black outline) feels a bit out of place compared to the rest, and the background is so busy that platforms are hard to tell apart; i'd suggest making the background more blurry, desaturated, and/or darker to avoid that.
The gameplay is solid, though one hit kills feel a bit harsh, a health bar would definitely be appreciated.
Overall i really like the game, love the theme, gorgeous aesthetic. Great work!

Beautiful artwork, that said it wasn't clear where the level and the background was at times, leading to unfair deaths. My arrows didn't seem to do anything against the robot, and the jump height to the ledges seemed a little off.
