note: i just had a friend test this game who's computer doesn't support shaders. The track is totally invisible, and as such unplayable.
I'll probably fix that and other issues later, maybe in a week or to. I'm burnt out now.

Visually awesome. The rings look really cool.
Not been able to try the multiplayer, but just driving around the track it feels like it should be fun.
Handling of the cars feels a little off, but then I'm not sure how a cart being driven around a planet's rings is supposed to handle...

The road looks incredible, but the lack of even simple animation in the drivers lets the graphics down a little.
Though I tried to make a 3D race kart game once and completely failed even without a time limit of 48 hours, so I'm incredibly impressed :D
Having a randomly generated course is awesome!
Thanks for the feedback, guys!
Beerman: we made some mistakes in code with the way the cars stay on the track (causing them to float through sometimes). After we fixed this, I think the handling improved significantly, too, so I'd be curious to get more feedback on that point after our next release!
Tifu: Thanks! I am glad to hear you think animation would improve the graphics. It is definitely something we want to add, but I don't think Jade's engine is ready for skeletal animation right now. We might be able to do some procedural head-bobbing and wheel-turning, however.
I am really happy to hear that everybody likes the rings/track. It's my favorite part of the game. :)

Best music I've heard so far. The rings are neat, but I agree, a bit of animation on the racers could go a long way. A little bit of sliding would be good too. Good job though, don't really have anyone to try it networked with, but kinda cool to support that in a LD entry, jam or not!
Trippy racetrack. I like it!
Nice entry! I did experience some strangeness with the tracks (sometimes I would go through the track, hitch, then end up back on the track), but overall a pretty nice game. The addition of some physics/ handling to the vehicles would be marvelous.
Brought me back to the N64 Mario Kart days when I lunged off the track and tries to stick the landing some point ahead, bypassing most of the track in the process! It was great fun doing that. Don't know if that's a bug or a feature but it's awesome.
I hope I can find another player to try this out with in actual race mode soon!

Linux user here, so I can't play it.
It seems to use functions that are unimplemented in wine;
wine: Unimplemented function msvcp100.dll.?_Orphan_all@_Container_base0@std@@QAEXXZ called at address 0x7edf6cf2 (thread 0009), starting debugger...
Awesome look and I loved being an Ermine.

Probably the trippiest racing game I've ever played :) I didn't try multi-player so not sure how fun it is against opponents. You need to add AI opponents and better car physics and maybe some obstacles to make the game more interesting (like Wacky Wheels on LSD :)).
Nice job, guys! The color-changing glow of the track is pretty visually appealing. The music play had gaps between phrases, so I'm not sure if that was Abrisene's rendering or your guys' code having looping issues that was causing that.
Overall, kind of rough and obviously missing a bunch of stuff, but nice anyways.

Feels like the prototype for a really great game! Stunningly beautiful, but doesn't really develop a feeling of a racing game.
I would try it if you had a Web or OSX version.
