I really enjoyed this one, I love the hand drawn graphics. :)

stoz 2011-08-22 20:13

Couldn't get it to run on Windows 7 64-bit!

gornova 2011-08-22 21:16

really really nice, smooth movements, good gameply. With some weapons and puzzle this kind of style could make a great game!

tubbimora 2011-08-22 21:16

Absolutely loved the art style! The gameplay was pretty awesome too.

I loved this! The graphics, the audio, the gameplay...basic, but perfect. Of course : too bad this was that short.

Thank you everyone with the positive feedback!

stoz: Have you installed the required prerequisites?

Great game...like the art

I loved the art! (And I'm not saying just because I'm using same approach :) gameplay seemed smooth, to bad you hadn't time to do more levels.

Unfortunately, it seems I don't have a Direct3D device that supports the "HiDef" profile :'(

I really enjoyed this game. Graphic style and sound is great as is level and enemy design. I hope for more levels to come.

In the crowd of all platformers, I have to say I liked the polish on this one. Animations felt right, enemies were interesting, the scribbles just rough enough to make the levels "believable": just before the tracking jumping enemy (for lack of a better name), there is no roof that I could see and I was thinking about what might lie on this unknown part of the paper. A very nice experience.

To be picky, I'd say that it is a bit short (of course the solution is easy) but also not very innovative. I would have loved fighting erasers, pencils and everything, breaking the third wall (I do not know how you transfer "breaking the forth wall" to a 2D game). That might be an idea for later :)

Apparently I need to upgrade my videoboard as it doesn't support XNA HiDef :(

Nice controls and graphics.

MacTuitui: I'd say that you can still break the fourth wall in a 2D game. The three other walls are the wall(s) to your left, the wall(s) to your right, and the wall that is a background to the screen; you play from the perspective of the fourth wall, which would block your view of the game were it visible.

Actually on-topic: ooh, love the graphical style. Shame it's so short, because you really nailed the feel of the running and jumping.
