LD21 — Escape

The Bachelor's Escape by Yoni 2011-08-22T20:46:00

Pretty hilarious concept, although if you have no ugliness potion you're guaranteed to get tackled by the swarms of ladies -- there's no good way to avoid them.

A tale about life, death and a looser. by deepnight 2011-08-21T21:37:00

Awesome concept! It's like a choose your own ending novel, though a bit more true to life... since your only options are to try to keep doing what you're already doing, or quit.

Mindbane by LegacyCrono 2011-08-22T20:18:00

I really like the concept, though the difficulty is extremely high right up front.

Abandoodle by OddOneOut 2011-08-22T20:13:00

Couldn't get it to run on Windows 7 64-bit!

I GOT MURDERED SO HARD!

Solar Collider by Integershift 2014-08-29T00:24:00

Decent concept, with a pretty good execution! The font at the outset was quite hard to read, though...

Colonized worlds by Gabe 2014-08-29T00:22:00

Things were a bit too unclear as to what is happening in this game. I read the description as well, but overall I couldn't quite make heads or tails out of what I was supposed to be doing. I did blow up some asteroids and build stuff, but not sure why! Then my planet exploded.

Definitely like the overall trajectory of this game. Might have been a bit too ambitious for a jam game, but sometimes it's good to take a large bite and see what happens.

Great job!

Not a bad first LD48 attempt! Definitely a fan of the lighting you used to highlight the fireflies. In future games, it'd be a good idea to put the control scheme in the game itself, because people tend to skip the description on the game's page. Good work!

Thanks, Almax & Pactum!

It seems I seriously underestimated the proportion of game developers who don't have numpads...

Interesting concept! However, tying everything to the mouse makes it unnecessarily frustrating. If you had a button that would just tether you to the nearest planet, rather than having to right-click that planet, it would free up the mouse entirely for shooting.

Still, I like the direction it's going overall!

Cool idea, having all these different worlds reachable through puzzle mechanics. I also liked the calm nature of it, but I wasn't quite sure what the overall point was.
