Apr 8 21:51:11 Submarine-Souls ♥ 1 Oh, it’s tough — in a good way! 😄 Cool graphics, and I really like the idea of using simple controls. I think it would feel even better with some kind of background ambiance — it felt a bit too silent when I wasn’t using thrust.
Apr 8 22:05:15 14m 04s Downstairs ♥ 3 I would’ve preferred the action to start just a bit sooner — I get that it builds suspense, but for a jam game, it felt a little like stretching out gameplay minutes. The controls are tough, but in a good way — especially the jump, which feels like a cool challenge.
Apr 9 10:40:57 12h 35m Oh No!! Astral Warp ♥ 1 One core idea, but so many clever puzzles built around it! Really cool how the background and music complement the gameplay. It also gave me some strong “Superliminal” vibes — loved that!
Apr 9 11:15:49 34m 52s BacteriaSwimmer ♥ 0 I think it would really help to start with some feedback or cues about what's happening — right now I can move around, but it’s not clear if or how I’m interacting with anything else. A little more guidance would go a long way!
Apr 9 11:23:13 7m 24s DepthsHouse ♥ 1 I have to say — it looked really good for a Compo game! I think it would’ve been even better with more comfortable controls. For me, aiming felt kind of messy 😅 so I mostly just ran around trying to enjoy the view!
Apr 9 13:10:06 1h 46m TapTapTapTapTapTapTapTap ♥ 1 Cool and surprisingly addictive concept! However, around level 30, it felt like some nodes stopped working and I kept losing — or maybe I was missing something. Either way, I really enjoyed it up to that point!
Apr 9 21:07:29 7h 57m Deep space journey ♥ 1 A simple but interesting walking simulator. I really liked the plot — even without many rooms or much action, it kept me engaged. The only issue was the sound; I think a subtle, repeating ambient noise could really support the atmosphere and concept.
Apr 9 21:18:31 11m 02s Fish Photography ♥ 1 Simple and fun! The game length felt just right for the mechanics — better to keep it short and sweet than stretch a single idea too far. The “walk backward instead of turning” mechanic might’ve been intentional, but it felt a little awkward to me in this context.
Apr 9 21:44:37 26m 06s Sonar ♥ 1 Pretty solid for a 3-hour project! Setting aside the usual stuff like movement tweaks and content depth, I think the main thing I missed was a map or some kind of gyroscope. Also — just personal preference — I usually enjoy games more when there’s a clear win condition instead of just “score as many points as you can.”
Apr 9 22:09:52 25m 15s Abyssal Descent ♥ 0 The movement mechanic was interesting! I wasn’t sure why the fish at the start kept changing size — maybe I missed something. Also, starting off with that right away felt a bit harsh before I had a chance to get comfortable with the controls.
Apr 10 07:52:38 9h 42m 931 ♥ 1 A really interesting take on a walking simulator — fits the theme perfectly. It felt a bit dark for me visually, but maybe that’s intentional, given the setting in the depths!
Apr 10 11:54:05 4h 01m Fia Fuel ♥ 2 I went right at first and thought, “Wow, putting lava right after one tile is brutal!” Then I came back and went left... 💀 Loved the metroidvania style — though it ran a bit long for my taste. I think adding a hint or some guidance for the main task would really help too.
Apr 10 20:54:35 9h 00m untitled ♥ 1 Challenging and kind of strange! On the plus side — the platforming mechanics felt really solid, with well-balanced movement. On the downside... I’m not quite sure what happened 😅 I collected some colored things and then it ended with two ships? A bit of clarification could go a long way!
Apr 10 21:00:16 5m 41s Depths of Hell ♥ 2 Great graphics and audio — especially the announcer! The movement and jump balance felt really good too. I made it to section 12, but I think this genre just isn’t my strongest 😅 Still, I had fun playing it!
Apr 10 21:14:19 14m 03s When it Sinks ♥ 1 Interesting interpretation of the theme! I instinctively ignored the symptoms and just googled them — and honestly thought the game was going to punish me for that 😅 One thing I noticed: some of the text lines occasionally overlap, which looked unintentional.
Apr 10 21:26:58 12m 39s Helldriver 2 ♥ 1 The irony of using a pizza box as a shield, but then losing pizza hitpoints when the car gets hit by balls... classic hell logic 😄 Who knows what rules apply down there? Fun and chaotic!
Apr 10 21:48:39 21m 41s Depth of field ♥ 2 Really cool theme implementation! I appreciated the level design and the game’s overall length — it felt just right. My only issue was the character movement — personally, I don’t find air-strafing onto tight platforms very fun.
Apr 12 19:34:58 45h 46m Antz vs Plantz ♥ 2 Fantastic sound design, interesting visuals, and really well-balanced gameplay — super cool! I ended up losing when a big ant ate through part of my wall, and I had to just watch the flow of ants pour through the gap. It’d be great to have some kind of recovery option in that situation. All in all — amazing work!
Apr 12 19:56:45 21m 47s To The Core ♥ 1 Simple and fun! I tried to cheat by spamming clicks at first, but the level design quickly shut that down — nicely done 😄
Apr 12 22:10:14 2h 13m Blurbl ♥ 0 It’s a pity it’s such a small prototype, but the core idea — and how it ties into the theme — is really interesting! Was kinda hard to manipulate in mouse :(
Apr 12 22:14:59 4m 45s Diggin' Deeper ♥ 2 Reminded me of hypercasual games — fast-paced with two simple inputs. Clever idea! I think adding some kind of time pressure could make it even more engaging. Also, I’ve gotta mention the funny art and sounds — really charming touches!
Apr 12 22:25:42 10m 43s Ad Light ♥ 1 Cool art — especially the design of the "main character"! I didn’t expect a boss fight in this kind of game, but it was a really fun surprise and a great idea.
Apr 12 22:29:09 3m 27s Devour ♥ 1 Wow, that was awesome! Simple controls, but surprisingly engaging to play. The level design was great — starting with small fish and building up to aggressive sharks (and that ship!). Really solid idea and fantastic execution!
Apr 12 22:33:53 4m 44s The Void ♥ 2 Really interesting story — it didn’t feel short at all. I only played through one ending, but it was a very surprising twist! To be honest, I struggled a bit with the god-language — maybe because I subconsciously relied on patterns from ordinary language 😅
