Oct 7 02:07:07 Gob ♥ 1 RIP wormy :( gob.PNG
Oct 7 06:31:53 4h 24m Kaiju Bash ♥ 1 I love the art style in this---it's super satisfying! I feel if it had just one extra movement mechanic like a dash, it'd make for some good score-routing. :P
Oct 7 06:38:11 6m 18s Little Guys! ♥ 1 Interesting choice of adding physics with a real-time stream to this sort of puzzler---it was really satisfying finding just the right time when a large group momentarily connects amidst the chaos. :P
Oct 7 08:01:31 1h 23m Pirate Bact Blaster ♥ 1 I feel the scoring being based on catching enemy drops instead of on kills makes the kills feel less rewarding than it could have---maybe if both the kill and the drops gave points? Nevertheless, the feel/ease-of-aim of the cannon is spot on and I love its sound effect :D
Oct 7 08:21:13 19m 42s Creature Tamer ♥ 0 Fun text adventure! I managed to tame the three animals---does it just keep looping from there? I played for a bit longer (mostly repeating areas) and the game got stuck after going back home. Is there more beyond this?
Oct 7 15:44:57 7h 23m Petri Wars ♥ 1 This was really fun! I think for replay value, would love to see a fast-forward button and hotkeys for building each unit type. :P The pace was fine for an initial play, though. Like others have mentioned, I ran into some screen freeze (with music playing) in the middle of I think wave 4 or 5. :( While beyond the deadline, IIRC major bug fixes are allowed as long as new features aren't added (and some changelog is noted).
Oct 7 16:52:13 1h 07m Jar Life ♥ 1 Really fun game! It seemed like the strategy was to avoid breaking jars as much as possible. I'll come back for the 60 eventually :D jar life_0.png
Oct 7 17:03:52 11m 39s Microbe match maker ♥ 1 Really nice concept---I feel if sets of microbes were introduced slower it'd make for a neat logic puzzle! Alternatively, it might be less overwhelming if the help guide only showed the pairings that are relevant for the current puzzle. I didn't have a chance to verify, but are the solutions unique?
Oct 7 19:51:46 2h 47m Frogi ♥ 1 The dithering on those hills are *chef's kiss*!
Oct 7 21:08:54 1h 17m the Last Leukocyte ♥ 1 14379 so far, will have to come back to it later. :D It's super satisfying when you get a good one going.
Oct 7 23:03:19 1h 54m Shiba Idle ♥ 1 The pacing is actually really well-balanced in that the next thing never felt unreasonably far away! Of note, my game froze in my first play-through while spam-tossing the ball short distances—not sure if it was the ball or something else (I also had a lot of devils)? Got to space in my next attempt, though :D image.png
Oct 7 23:38:42 35m 23s Sammich ♥ 5 Sammich image2.png
Oct 8 00:02:15 23m 33s Da Eg Hatcha ♥ 1 Assets came in clutch let's gooo boats.png
Oct 8 07:17:37 7h 15m Flower Friends ♥ 1 Really relaxing! I was questioning what the deal was during the first few flowers, but it really doesn't need one. It reminds me of those virtual (and sometimes interactive) greeting cards—cute but with a twist. :')
Oct 8 15:12:14 7h 54m Fear of the Ungnome ♥ 2 gnome.PNG
Oct 8 17:55:54 2h 43m The Pasture ♥ 2 Really adorable puzzler! Now I don't think the game was intended to go this long, but the spectator bunnies piled up and began lagging the game. I kept going for a bit longer and the game eventually froze. :') I'll call that a win! pasture.PNG
Oct 9 04:15:53 10h 19m Meatheads ♥ 3 The lack of info (at the time of playing—it has info now!) made it tough to figure out, but once you knew what the deal was, it was *really* fun! The frog's OHKO stomp blast thing really made it crucial to recall your units to keep them alive long enough to profit on meat. :D meatheads.PNG
Oct 9 05:02:59 47m 06s BeetleBall ♥ 2 Had a blast playing this on Rincs' stream! Great work :D
Oct 10 00:40:21 19h 37m Snow Flipper ♥ 1 Super cute, especially the sliding animation and the subtle squish when starting a slide! I love seeing fellow penguin games :D Immediately thought of this flowchart the moment I got the first rod: flowchart.PNG
Oct 10 16:42:10 16h 01m Bunny Wrangler ♥ 2 Really loved the art in this! I was similarly curious about how it determined how circular things were so I really appreciated the detailed explanation above :D
Oct 11 00:27:21 7h 45m Tamago Sweeper ♥ 1 As a fellow Mamono Sweeper enjoyer, I was really happy to see this take on the theme. :D Would definitely be interested in one that took the RPG elements even further!
Oct 11 15:00:18 14h 32m Creatures of the abyss ♥ 1 Really cute survival game. :) IMO the dithering of the water background kind of clashed with the fish sprites---not that the dithering looks bad, but that the fish aren't comparably dithered to match. In contrast with the other comment, I actually liked the Z to float as it's often a natural jump button in Z/X + arrows control schemes for 2D games. Having multiple options (e.g., allowing both Z and up) might be good to accommodate more preferences. :) Nice work for starting so far into the jam!
Oct 12 05:27:56 14h 27m Bun Run ♥ 1 Fun little speedrun :D Sub-1's def possible—there were a couple of cycles that were definitely avoidable. image (1).png Edit: Got it (with a death D:)! image (2).png
Oct 13 16:32:47 35h 04m Gnomin' ♥ 2 The web build was kind of spazzy, but after downloading it, it was a lot more reasonable! 11:39 first run. :D
Oct 15 18:57:20 50h 24m Moldable Monster of Mine ♥ 1 I really liked the idea of this :D It's like those eat-things-and-get-bigger games but with customization on where mass goes, and abilities associated with certain "absorbed" units. Like others have suggested, this has a lot of potential if you expand the space of abilities (and associate them with different colors)—very impressive (and innovative!) Compo entry!
Oct 26 23:23:27 268h 26m Bento Bugs ♥ 2 Congrats other Meep :D
