Very interesting game - I had a lot of fun playing it! Minesweeper addict myself, so seeing a variation on it like this was very exciting. Great job!

its honestly super compelling and makes me wonder what a full indie minesweeper-based rougelike/RPG could be like!
I think it could definitely work! I'm sort of imagining of maybe loot "mines" and stuff like that, and a boss mine.
@loco Yes, that is a bug, thanks for pointing it out! I saw that bug in the last minute. It's easy to fix, but I think I'll fix it after the jam is over.

As a fellow Mamono Sweeper enjoyer, I was really happy to see this take on the theme. :D Would definitely be interested in one that took the RPG elements even further!
Very nice idea, I'm not great at minesweeper but the little mix of combat makes it a lot more fun!
This is an interesting twist on Minesweeper! I love the idea of a flower shooting at bugs—it’s delightful. It’s challenging without the ability to flag, but I appreciate that mistakes aren’t fatal. A healing feature could be a nice addition!
I love minesweeper so much but I never expected to see one here. I am quite please right now! I like that you kept both game modes available. Tried both and enjoyed them thoroughly. Nice twist on the game. Well done!

Very charming! The absurdity of the flower with a gun is great. The level-up mechanic is great. I really dig this. I wish it had audio!!
Really neat twist on classic minesweeper and fun to play! As someone that isn't the best minesweeperer but still like the core gameplay I especially like that its not instantly fatal if you get something "wrong" (I suppose it's not really "wrong" in this version) I could see this as a game similar to DemonCrawl with upgrades, multiple levels, etc!
When I noticed the flower had a gun, I thought that was the funniest thing about the game. I like how this game makes it so that you actually feel like going through a minesweeper match if you're a minesweeper noob like me, maybe as like a "Casual practice" minesweeper mode. It would be cool to see other concepts applied to it, as well!
I had fun! Interesting take on minesweeper. It's much less punishing, but I could see this turning into a very in depth game if you were to continue development!
The idea of adding combat elements to the Minesweeper game is great, and I even got a classic mode, which is really awesome. The graphics are simple and fresh but fit the game theme very well. The flower holding a gun made me laugh XD
Original twist on the minesweeper formula! At first, I did'nt read the description and did'nt understand why the numbers did'nt seem to correspond to the numbers of catterpillars around a cell. Once I read it, the gameplay was super understandable.
Everything looks fine and polished enough. The game would benefit from having music and sound FX. I see that you did'nt opt out of audio, so I may have encountered an issue, I don't know.
As other said, I can imagine an expanded version of this game, and that could be a cool thing.
that is a really interesting idea - making you flag the mines in some order that is to be handled by the flower

@hubol @chocolat-endive Correct, the game doesn't have any audio and sfx. I have no musical ability and always had trouble with this part in jams, so I decided not to worry about it at all this time 😅 (didn't choose opt out because the compo guideline said it's not optional, but maybe it just means you must have original sfx? not sure, but I don't mind getting the last place in that category haha)
