Oct 8 02:00:22 DWARFS ♥ 1 Very cool, very interesting. I *loved* the visual aesthetic and the audio. I really felt like a game I want to lose tons and tons of time in. Gameplay mechanics were easy to learn, it only took a few probes to figure out how to optimize for minerals. Thing is it seemed like I would send a probe, it would survive, and my $$ score would not go up. I had previously elected to "sell for research" instead of "sell for $$$" but is that a permanent decision? I'm honestly not sure what happened there. I think the game has an awesome core but I'm not sure I'll go back to it. I feel like it's "almost there" for a really awesome game, I'm just not sure what the tradeoff is. Like, I don't have a target amount of $$$ to get and I try to keep the dwarfs alive, so maybe if I have a clearer motivation to get a particular material or reach a certain depth or something it would really land for me? Dunno. Overall I really like it. Your games are always really good Jimbly.
Oct 8 02:16:04 15m 42s Boba Teeny ♥ 1 OH MY WOW WOW WOW! I love the premise for this game so much! It's amazing! I laughed the entire time I played it.
Oct 8 02:18:23 2m 19s Metaworld ♥ 2 I refused to share location and nothing happened. I'm sure you made a real game but honestly it's likely to be dismissed as spam by many.
Oct 8 02:21:35 3m 12s Minions' Discovery ♥ 2 I like the vibe and the look a lot. Seems like t has potential. I could;dn't figure out what to do after reaching the "4 cards onscreen at once" part so I had to stop playing.
Oct 8 02:31:25 9m 50s Rescue The Tiny Creatures ♥ 0 Very solid entry. I played 5 or 6 areas. I really appreciate that there wasn't always "one solution" for the room, but rather there was the solution suggested by level design that shows a clear obvious path up the platforms but also there was "make a tough double jump and skip half the level" solutions which I really loved. Well done
Oct 8 02:35:37 4m 12s Spoiled Harvest: Defend your plants from tiny critters ♥ 1 Fun concept. I love that you built a tower defense game that isn't a top-town grid. It's probably too easy - my strategy was just to spam a lot of turrets and then sit back and watch as all the ants and caterpillars just died without any real tension. Still, I was very entertained and I think this could be developed into a larger and very fun game. Well done.
Oct 8 03:09:38 34m 01s Bug Bazaar ♥ 4 I made Bjordas and I loved him and I also made Torengrin but then I couldn't afford food so I had to sell Bjordagas and then I had three more ent (unt?) friends but then one had exclamation marks over his head and I kept dropping food to make him happy but he was in the corner and some asshole was camping over the food drop part of the cage so my ant friend exploded into a pile of food and poop and another ont ate him! FIVE STARS!
Oct 8 03:15:44 6m 06s Papercat Farms ♥ 4 Very charming! I love me a good farming sim. It took a while to figure out how to play, the mechanics weren't immediately obvious but I was able to figure it out. The art style is super charming and the game felt like it had a lot of depth that takes a bit to discover and explore. Overall very cool entry.
Oct 8 03:22:24 6m 40s Don't Scratch That Itch ♥ 1 This is the best title screen I think I've ever seen. Amazing. This game creeped the crap out of me! I'm pretty sure that's what you were going for, and well done you nailed it. So creepy! So awesome too. It took a while to get a hand of how to manipulate the hand to keep it from locking onto the scratching areas but once I got the hang of it I felt really good. I really enjoyed overcoming that learning curve, this was really fun. I think my favorite part is how _visceral_ it felt, I really wanted to just scratch the itches on my monitor myself! Well done! Just one question - what part of the body has such a massive surface area?
Oct 8 03:33:47 11m 23s Ratsaurant Rush ♥ 1 It took the first playthrough to figure out how to play it - the main thing I didn't understand at the beginning is that it's a Ratatouille simulator (which I 1000% approve of!) I love that the dominant strategy is just to cook everything as much as possible and cover the tables with it so people can just wander in, sit down, and a meal is already made for them. Alas the food wastage! That conveyor belt got out of control! So much food thrown in the trash! The one question I have is - if the entire kitchen is rats cooking everything why is it that a rat can come through on the conveyor belt? Is it a mob hit? Somebody got too drunk on the job and ended up getting served up as food? Seems the rats are working so hard they didn't even notice. Pretty awesome and impressive title!
Oct 8 04:37:34 1h 03m Meticulous Microbes ♥ 2 Brilliant. Really well done. I found the rules pretty easy to figure out but I wasn't 100% sure on details until I learned more. This type of game - you nailed it. As for difficulty I found it easy until 3-6, then it got hard. I think different people will find it hard at different levels which tells me you did a really good job balancing it, something that's so rare in game jam games. Well done!
Oct 11 06:53:19 74h 15m Watch your step ♥ 2 Absolutely perfect game jam game. Hilarious concept, hilarious music, fun mechanic. It took some problem solving but I got to the end without too much trouble. Thank you, this was great.
Oct 12 05:12:16 22h 18m Tiny meat boys ♥ 1 Brilliant! Absolutely wonderful game. The puzzles were interesting, the difficulty ramp felt 100% spot-on, and it was very easy to learn. I was hoping for a game that reminded me of Lemmings and you did not disappoint!
Oct 12 05:28:45 16m 29s Twilight of the Forest ♥ 0 Wendigos? I laughed at that one. Excellent game. Really good. I love your scope, you really built a full, meaty experience that can be done in a perfect amount of time for a game jam. It all felt polished and good. I really like the fact you made an interactive fiction game with good, fun mechanics that were easy to learn and master. Really well done! Did you opt out of ratings? Oh well, I would have liked to give you some high ratings!
Oct 12 05:42:39 13m 54s Tiny Creature Rescue ♥ 0 Tough but very complete little game. I get stuck a lot, is climbing or wall jumping possible? Seems like a no. This is pretty sweet and I really liked the graphics.e
