| Jan 10 18:05:39 | Harvest Time | ♥ 1 | Looks great and controls well! Love the ambition to make something for 4-players, really cool. | |
| Jan 10 18:10:53 | 5m 14s | Bewitched Potatoes | ♥ 2 | Scythes are cool! Aesthetically strong, and the game loop is fun. Good job! |
| Jan 10 18:15:55 | 5m 02s | Thrown Harvest (for LD52) | ♥ 1 | Fun gameplay once I got it! I think the theme is somewhat bolted on (the Harvest zone at the bottom seems kind of superfluous, it's not difficult to go and collect stuff, etc.) but I can understand just adding a feature to see if you can make it happen (timers, item collection). Love stuff that's mechanics focused like this, good job! |
| Jan 10 18:39:25 | 23m 30s | Slime Crime | ♥ 2 | Certainly one of the most fun entries I've played! I like how the roguelike "formula" combined with the theme. Smart to have the corpses time-out, so that harvesting them for XP is rolled into your risk evaluation when playing. Great stuff! |
| Jan 10 18:51:28 | 12m 03s | H. R. Vest | ♥ 3 | Love the art and audio! Game is spooky and atmospheric. Could maybe be more immersive with some flow-breaking (sound effects, camera zoom, etc.) effects, but well put together! |
| Jan 10 20:37:30 | 1h 46m | Bow Knight Drifter | ♥ 2 | Art here is AWESOME. Love the sprite-work. Audio is good and fitting as well, and the gameplay seems well-considered! My main critique is difficulty. When exploring I stumbled into the boss room without making any purchases; the fight was really easy in my opinion. SO, the disparity between overworld and boss difficulty is pretty large, I found the Snakes and Mantis swarms more challenging than the Dragon. |
| Jan 10 20:46:55 | 9m 25s | You Will Be Fertiliser. | ♥ 1 | Blood for the blood god. Good take on the theme, plays well, fun. GJ! |
| Jan 10 23:00:11 | 2h 13m | Scream of the Crop | ♥ 3 | Beautiful looking game, floored by the quality of the asset work. Others have gone over my main critiques about the gameplay! A bit slow/simple, and sometimes unclear. But with the amount of aesthetic completeness that's here, I think it's still extremely impressive overall. |
| Jan 10 23:10:18 | 10m 07s | The Domino Surgery | ♥ 1 | Love the illustration and art-style! Concept is interesting, and the puzzle itself was fun to solve. I think some of the UI/interaction choices could have made the experience more enjoyable. I definitely was kind of lost just dragging aliens around until I realized I *had* to connect the pictures to each other to form a connection. Audio and humour was super strong as well. I clicked around and asking for a hint before interacting with the game results in funny dialogue, etc. GJ! |
| Jan 10 23:17:02 | 6m 44s | Starvesters | ♥ 2 | Beautiful minimalist worldbuilding here! I had some issue with mouse controls, but it could have been a browser-specific thing. Otherwise, super immersive. GJ! |
| Jan 10 23:24:36 | 7m 34s | Soul Trapper | ♥ 1 | Love the art and music here! Gameplay was fun once I got the hang of it, I feel this could turn into something larger with added depth and polished. Great work! |
| Jan 10 23:28:11 | 3m 35s | Scarecrow Attack | ♥ 2 | I was not expecting much from looking at it first-glance and the text here, but this was deceivingly fun LOL. I like the control scheme a lot. Somewhere in between awkward and intuitive. GJ, especially knowing it was a pivot as mentioned above! |
| Jan 11 03:36:00 | 4h 07m | Harvester Inc. | ♥ 1 | Great use of the theme! Reminds me of Welcome to the Game (and its sequel). Really successful at giving you the uneasy feeling of doing something that isn't quite "right". |
| Jan 11 03:42:01 | 6m 01s | Jack the Reaper | ♥ 1 | Everything that is here is super complete, I like the artwork visual style a lot. I won the game on the first map generation, which might not be very usual? But in my case it wasn't very challenging :P. It may just be a case of procedural rules tho. Good work! |
| Jan 11 18:02:44 | 14h 20m | Collector of _ | ♥ 2 | Love the platforming, the art, and the overall vibe. I get the connection to the theme with scythe-ing down enemies to harvest their souls for progression. However, I found it a lot less enjoyable to have to worry about combat as it took away from my time interfacing with the cool platforming/puzzle element of the game. That's the only critique I can come up with, otherwise extremely solid and fun! |
| Jan 11 18:09:52 | 7m 08s | Soul Harvester | ♥ 1 | Aesthetically (other than audio) I think this is strong. Could definitely use some sugar in terms of visual effects/feedback though! I actually really like how fast and direct the gameplay control feels. Generally this style of game is bit slower and more forgiving, but I actually think it's pretty interesting for it to feel closer to Quake or something in terms of fast movement and the characters near-hit-scan projectile. Good work! |
| Jan 11 18:16:44 | 6m 52s | HER-V | ♥ 3 | Visually super impressive! Love the asset work and the recreation of a cel-shaded style. Also shout out to the not-so-subtle Victory Gundam reference in the title, mech design and color scheme 😛. I think some iteration on this concept could be something worthwhile! Was expecting more of a punishment for failing an arrow input in the harvest mini-game, for example. Great work! |
| Jan 11 18:33:00 | 16m 16s | Elonkorjuu - Live Harvest | ♥ 2 | Awesome work! Super fun, cool take on the theme, and the art is really beautiful. |
