Apr 11 17:43:38 Un-Rooted ♥ 3 Great humour and great fun all around. If I weren't distracted by reading all the jokes I maybe could have gotten further than 143 seconds. But I guess that's not too bad considering I probably watered the game plant more than my house plants... Guess I should do that some time :D
Apr 11 17:53:05 9m 27s Isn't-Land ♥ 1 Okay, first off, nice idea and good execution. There really is a lot of game here. But the amount of information to process right from the start is pretty overwhelming. One way to make it easier for someone learning the mechanics (of which there are a lot!) could be the option to pause the game. Or maybe introduce some systems at certain stages of the game. But as I said, I like it. The graphics are consistent and definitely serve their purpose!
Apr 11 17:57:30 4m 25s The Floor Is Lava ♥ 1 Damn I am bad at these stacking games :D But nonetheless I like it. Nice touch to the main menu for making the text fit into the 3D scene. Also, I really like your scene transition!
Apr 12 16:10:18 22h 12m ThatsLife ♥ 1 Hi there, nice game, I enjoyed playing it, especially your sounds are nice! Mostly it just lacks polish in a number of spots. There are overlapping UI elements (1440p monitor), sometimes it's hard to keep the car in a straight line (probably because we're driving on a sphere) and after dying, you have to exit with Alt+F4 (at least Escape didn't do anything). But as I said, these are not major issues, so good job!
Apr 12 16:23:29 13m 11s AstroPhysical ♥ 1 Great compo entry in my opinion. The graphics are nice, the gameplay works and feels responsive, there are sound effects for pretty much everything important! Really great job!
Apr 12 16:32:25 8m 56s SferePhall ♥ 0 Great job all around! Gameplay, graphics and sound work together nicely and the style keeps coherent and minimalistic! Also, nice touch in the main menu, for the buttons to wiggle with the music :D
Apr 12 16:39:43 7m 18s Life of a Floof ♥ 1 Great job, the music really supports the strange/mysterious athmosphere! Also I really like the continuous storytelling! The only minor issue I had was that I didn't feel like I could do much myself, especially in the later stages. But at that point I was captured by the floofs presence anyway :D
Apr 12 16:53:36 13m 53s The Great Horde ♥ 1 Wow, great job! The gameplay works well and what is especially impressive, it is super easy to understand! Also you stay consistent in your visual style and the sounds don't get boring immediately. So, very well done!
Apr 12 18:53:15 1h 59m The Heist ♥ 1 Nice game, I'd just wish for a soundtrack fitting the action on the streets at night! :P I didn't really figure out how you gain money so I just tried to keep as much of it as I could. But nonetheless, really enjoyable, especially when battling the police!
Apr 12 19:03:56 10m 41s Spilling Cups ♥ 1 Hey, I love the minimalistic style throughout your whole game! Once you figure out the controls, they also work nicely and responsive! I managed to crash the game a couple of times though, when i misclicked and tried to make a connection from an empty cup to the space around it. I guess when water starts flowing into that cup it then looks for an outlet at the connection but finds none, resulting in the crash. But anyway, great entry! :)
Apr 12 19:09:08 5m 12s Low Tide ♥ 1 Okay, from start to finish, this is great! Fantastic job all around, from the graphics, sound and gameplay, everything feels complete and responsive! The only minor inconvenience for me would be the camera positioning when you are at the edge of the pool, which makes it a bit hard to see. But other that that, great job!
Apr 12 22:04:11 2h 55m The Inevitable Snowman ♥ 3 Definitely one of the most complete games I've ever played in a Ludum Dare. Great job to the whole team! I would maybe limit the deaths as you can just "swim" your way from platform to platform to collect the snow but other than that, absolutely fantastic!
Apr 12 22:13:55 9m 44s Coffee Run ♥ 1 I could hustle 546 before i fell asleep! That's probably pretty bad. Luckily your game isn't! :D I've had my fun with it and especially like the day/night switch, which came as a surprise at first. Also, great cutscenes in between the levels! Are the levels randomly generated or are there just a number of pre-made layouts? Nonetheless, nice job!
Apr 12 22:30:54 16m 59s The VortExperience ♥ 1 Great experience and great voice acting! :D I would have liked the portal to be pixel art as well, to keep the visual style consistent but that's only a minor issue. You definitely nailed the "science experiment in a video game" athmosphere, so great job!
Apr 12 22:40:00 9m 06s Earth Watcher ♥ 1 In terms of graphics and sounds, this is fantastic! It really sets the mood. I think the gameplay could be refined a bit but nonetheless, great entry!
Apr 13 11:37:15 12h 57m Stop the Train ♥ 1 Hey, I really like the idea and also most of the game itself! However I think some of the dialogues are too long for the amount of time you have. It obviously adds to the stress level but as a person who likes dialogues in games, I would much rather have the time or possibility to enjoy them as well :D
Apr 13 11:44:12 6m 57s Inevitable Garden Infestation ♥ 1 Really nice work! The controls don't feel as responsive, as sometimes you don't quite why you didn't hit a particular rabbit but that's just polishing. Also, as you already mentioned yourself, some music and/or sound effects would have been nice but that's something I regularly miss as well. So all in all, good job!
Apr 13 12:26:29 42m 17s SAUCE ♥ 1 Nice idea, although you could add a bit more feedback. Maybe some sound effects or some gameplay elements, that throw the sauce back down when you hit them on your way up. But nonetheless, I've had fun, so good job! :)
Apr 13 12:52:09 25m 40s Last of the Sky Folk ♥ 1 Hey, nice game and props for making it in your own engine! The grappling hook works well, but at some point I had trouble with orientation, not really knowing if I'm still going up or down :D The movement was really slow for me, which is why I almost exclusively moved with the grappling hook.
Apr 13 13:14:47 22m 38s Sunset ♥ 2 Wow, your game looks and feels great! Some modest sound effects for the ball collisions or the paddle controls and this would be perfect in my opinion. Fantastic job! :)
Apr 13 15:54:09 2h 39m Desktop ♥ 1 Hey, your game feels really nice! The visuals and the sound set the mood quite well! A bit more to do would be nice, but I guess that's the catch, that I don't really have something to do, I just don't want to go for a run :D
