| Oct 6 14:16:23 | The Hall Of Anubis | ♥ 1 | Atmospheric and fits the theme well.. I spent most of the time feeling lost. I couldn't find the golden key and I spent ages trying. Nice ambient sound. Well done :) | |
| Oct 6 14:33:10 | 16m 47s | Cyber Curse | ♥ 1 | Very nice. The UI is polished and audio and graphics/animation are very impressive for the limited time you had to make this. I like how mechanics such as shooting with the sword and dashing are gradually introduced with helpful information reminding you how to use your abilities and what to do. The main problem I had was that the game felt very repetitive, which I suppose comes with the theme. Perhaps some more variation each time you revisit the same/similar areas. Overall really nice work! |
| Oct 6 15:31:20 | 58m 10s | HONK II | ♥ 1 | Nice! You put a lot of work into this! Fun, and great sound and music. Took me a while to get used to aiming but I got there in the end :) Not really sure how it links in with the theme. Sometimes the HUD would disappear, I think its when fullscreen on the HTML5 version. Love the variety of guns, and the shotgun is especially fun to use. Huge achievement for only 72 hours so well done! |
| Oct 6 15:51:06 | 19m 46s | Time Prison | ♥ 6 | This is so good for 72 hours! Original concept, I really like how you use time instead of health as a central mechanic. I enjoyed the platforming. Later on it does take more patience with the lasers instakilling you. Really fun, nice job :) |
| Oct 6 16:15:44 | 24m 38s | The Flying Tree | ♥ 1 | Nice atmosphere and art looks quite unique. It was hard initially to figure out how to find the thermals - it takes a lot of trial and error more than anything else. Great concept! |
| Oct 6 16:43:03 | 27m 19s | Temporal Tether | ♥ 0 | Nice idea, this has potential to be a good puzzle game. I completed it within a few minutes. Currently its too easy (seems impossible to lose) - would be interesting to see how you could add more challenge without making it too frustrating. Maybe something that adds difficulty each time the level resets. |
| Oct 6 17:02:40 | 19m 37s | . | ♥ 1 | You make trippy games. I know its unfinished but I really liked it, probably my favourite so far. It does take a while to make it to the end - perhaps a little more leeway for the player would make the platforming less frustrating. Really like how important the sound is, and the voice at the end after you kill the monster made me smile. Good job! :) |
| Oct 6 17:15:29 | 12m 49s | Progress | ♥ 1 | Was so confused. Give me my 10 mins back |
| Oct 6 21:30:45 | 4h 15m | Collateral Control | ♥ 2 | This is very addictive - I think you can expand it with sound and music and put it on mobile and it would do well. The challenge is just right, especially in the latter levels. It would be nice to glance at the squares and know how many movement points they each have - perhaps this could be shown on the squares themselves. Overall very well done, I enjoyed this a lot. |
| Oct 6 21:42:51 | 12m 06s | Sir Runalot | ♥ 2 | Fun game, I played a little too much and got around 900 meters. Can see this being addictive on mobile - tap to jump. Maybe collecting coins or something will give an added objective whilst running. I really like the music, nice job :) |
| Oct 6 21:56:03 | 13m 12s | Into the Space | ♥ 1 | It's more fun at lower speeds, quite relaxing to play, would be good on mobile if you add some sound and maybe a bit of screenshake when you hit an obstacle. At higher speeds as other users have said it bugs out and you can't die. |
| Oct 6 22:01:46 | 5m 43s | Dodge Da Beat | ♥ 1 | Funky, nice atmosphere :) It's a bit easy to play (I couldn't lose until I intentionally went on the red stuff). I don't know if things could speed up the longer you survive? Fun and chill, nice job :) |
| Oct 6 22:35:39 | 33m 53s | Möbi's Trip | ♥ 1 | Juicy slime! Polish! Pseudo-3D! High scores! Fun and interesting levels! A bit of music or ambient sound for the game would be great. This is one of my favourite games so far and I can really see it being expanded :) The leaderboard led me to replay a few levels (I'm hnuqweasd) - a nice touch. Very impressive for 48 hours! |
| Oct 7 19:51:42 | 21h 16m | Get in the Loop! | ♥ 1 | Went in blind and won after 200 seconds. Fun when you get the hang of it :) |
| Oct 7 20:01:39 | 9m 57s | RESET HOOLIGANS | ♥ 0 | This is really clever! A walkthrough isn't necessary, you just need to explore the different options a little. If you wanted to make it a bit more user friendly, maybe add a highlight or glow to the bits that are interactable. I wish there were more levels (but I appreciate the limited time of course!). It would be great if the graphics were fleshed out and maybe some sound effects. I really like the music, it adds to the game feel. Well done, pretty original :) |
| Oct 7 20:34:17 | 32m 38s | Faithless Land | ♥ 2 | This is a really nicely presented game. I really like the art and card designs. I agree that you can add sound effects and animations to make it even better. Once you get the hang of it the gameplay is fun, but there is quite a learning curve I felt. Perhaps a tutorial level with a lot of explanations would help? I enjoyed upgrading my deck with new cards in the shop. This game really has potential. Well done :) |
| Oct 8 16:21:11 | 19h 46m | Degrimer | ♥ 1 | This is really cool! And nice to see you using Godot :) Just a few minor things, like I didn't notice a shooting animation and the character doesn't face the way he is shooting, and there's not that much visual feedback when you hit the boss. I also had no idea I was supposed to kill the big monster initially. I think maybe a health bar would be nicer than the red number. I also didn't know what the blue things were for. That all said, I really like this entry - unique concept, and I like to see jam games with voice-acting (although I didn't understand anything the character said!). I found it quite fun, and it definitely has potential. Nice end-screen :) |
| Oct 8 16:31:57 | 10m 46s | Mazed Robot | ♥ 1 | Fun game and very impressive for the limited time. Platforming is generally enjoyable but can be frustrating having to spam spacebar instead of holding it down. I think there should be some audiovisual feedback when you take damage (I didn't really notice until I died!). This may also just be personal preference, but I would like the option of wasd for controls. I really like the music. Graphics are nice, and again, I'm impressed that you made a decent 3D platformer in such a limited time. I also like seeing the Godot engine used :) |
| Oct 8 16:40:58 | 9m 01s | X-periment | ♥ 2 | This was actually quite fun. I played the whole thing, and sacrificed a few dozen ghosts to complete the last level. It would be interesting to see how you could expand the puzzles, e.g. traps or levers. The idea has potential and you could go quite far with it. It just needs a little polish, especially in terms of sound and music. I like the concept and I like that you used the Godot engine :) PS the web version was fine |
| Oct 8 16:56:41 | 15m 43s | Brick'd Out | ♥ 0 | Fun, simple yet addictive. Nice twist on the traditional game. I tried the html version first but the sound didn't quite seem to sync and it was slightly laggy, so I ended up downloading the Linux version. However, I couldn't seem to full screen it, and it would also not allow me to progress beyond the first level. I tried the Windows version via Wine and it had the same issue. I went back to the html version and played beyond level one. Despite the bugs, I really like the amount of polish that went into this for a jam game. I like the audiovisual feedback - the game feels pretty good to play. I quite enjoy your channel btw, hope you keep it up :) |
