| Apr 21 18:08:21 | That's Crazy, What? | ♥ 2 | Love the animations, like the eating - great sound effects too; the alien audio was adorable. | |
| Apr 21 18:19:56 | 11m 35s | Don't Touch the Button | ♥ 2 | Great game, very adorable and engaging! I thought the voice acting was excellent.. I didn't understand it, but the intonations and mood of it were spot on! The artwork is excellent too! |
| Apr 21 18:31:18 | 11m 22s | Silly Fluffy Bunny | ♥ 2 | Fantastic. I just sat at the start screen for quite awhile (and end screen too), enjoying the cute little bunny run back and forth and make adorable noises (and the surprise there was great!). Very polished and complete game, excellent introduction to mechanics etc; nailed the difficulty progression. |
| Apr 21 20:35:42 | 2h 04m | Raising the bar | ♥ 2 | Good times! Leaderboard and a wide variety of combinations and ways to approach the game for achieving a high score were good 'addictive' qualities - had a lot of fun with the game and spent almost an hour (on and off to give my mouse hand a rest) trying to get higher on the leaderboard. Very well put together, music was good and didn't get repetitive after my long stint playing.. great work! I do think with some tweaks, balancing, feature enhancements, etc.. it could be a full fledged mobile game! |
| Apr 21 20:46:41 | 10m 59s | Spring Tree | ♥ 3 | Great work! Very cute audio and graphics - I like the animations of the water, and the spring stretch of the tree growth. I encountered some issues with jumping both in the web and DL Windows version.. and then looked at your code to try and find the bug. The code is beautiful! No luck finding the bug though. Great entry for LD46, with an excellent take on the theme with the unique take on the game rules/mechanic (sharing the water with the tree). |
| Apr 21 22:04:06 | 1h 17m | Type IT! | ♥ 1 | Thank you for the windowed version! Good job on the project, and identifying the need for get_process_delta_time() with me! |
| Apr 21 22:11:42 | 7m 36s | Rampage | ♥ 1 | Great work! Excellent introduction to the mechanics of the game, and the characters etc.. Art and music were adorable. I'm honestly amazed you pulled it off with having your battles with colliders and game engine flip flops during the project; it's a solid foundation of a game, that could easily be expanded with more levels etc! |
| Apr 21 22:14:25 | 2m 43s | Kaoamaru Kaiju | ♥ 2 | Great camera work! Model and the rigging was fantastic too, and you nailed the PS1 & HL vibe you were going for! It was an enjoyable experience! |
| Apr 21 22:40:00 | 25m 35s | Short Dark | ♥ 1 | Very ambitious project, and I love that it's "Short Dark", as I have loved Hinterlands creation for many years as it's evolved. Controls were a challenge to get the hang of, along with environment interactions, but with a little practice, and after a few deaths, it went much smoother. |
| Apr 21 23:03:19 | 23m 19s | The Diamond-Flowered Orchid | ♥ 1 | Great job! The audio really did add to the game/immersion as I played through and figured out what commands to do. I was rescued at the end, so my expedition was a success! Was Henry a guide of sorts, or does he just run around a bit random? |
| Apr 21 23:08:25 | 5m 06s | Saving IT | ♥ 0 | Agreed with the mouse sensitivity, and your viewpoint seems a bit low to the ground, but good job with completing! Had all the major aspects.. menu, gameplay, levels, audio, etc.. |
| Apr 25 13:10:06 | 86h 01m | Computer Rat | ♥ 2 | Very cool idea and execution! The tutorial was great, very glad you put that in there. |
| Apr 25 13:17:02 | 6m 56s | Sheep Keep | ♥ 1 | Great concept and take on the theme! I'm sure you ran out of time for many of the features wanted (animal audio, slingshot hit animations, etc..) but it's a great foundation! The music is very relaxing, and I could see myself enjoying a fully fleshed out sheep herder simulation now :D |
| Apr 25 13:24:15 | 7m 13s | Tamagojamy | ♥ 3 | Great execution! When I first heard the theme, the same thought came to my head of Tama- You really pulled it off well, the graphics are adorable, and the tasks/mini game keep you engaged and focused, with lots to do. I like how when in the bathroom, but then going to the next room over through the wall, you must wait for your tama to walk through the entire house to get to you - small but realistic little bit you managed to program in! The only thing I feel it could have benefited from (which would be hard to implement in the 8bit screen.. but maybe on the general game window?) would have been a tutorial of sorts. All in all though, excellent job! |
| Oct 12 00:40:44 | 4067h 16m | The Unicorn and the need for coffee..! | ♥ 1 | @incd021 - first, an apology.. somehow I missed playing your LD46 game back in April, and didn't have a chance to see Phil stream it either. It didn't look familiar when I was browsing to your LD47 game, so I dropped in to play.. it was a great time, I had some good laughs! I loved the Pixel Prophecy references/char.. voice acting, sound effects, mechanics.. etc.. screen shake was awesome putting items down. Great job on the game, and I'm sorry I missed the experience and voting 6 months ago.. but glad I got to play now =) |
