First of all: - I love the special abilities every one helps a lot. - Nice twist to the "keep the plant alive". There are many games about plants but yours gives unique platformer style gameplay with special abilities this is the strongest feature of the game imho. - Good fitting graphics - sets up the mood - my only issue is controlling the character. Could be more responsive especially jumping. Also would be nice to be harmed for example if you jump on a wrong tile you "die" and have to respawn (3 seconds delay) Just a loose suggestion tho. Good job! |

First let's focus on pros: - very nice mood. literally wanted me to know the whole story but I guess most important points are well introduced. - loved the art style, monochromatic palette is great - every character and cutscenes are great, they setup the mood perfectly - Nice mechanic of being "electrocuted" but it's also a cons sometimes Now what could be done better (IMHO) - first issue and probably MOST important as it disencouraged me to finish the game: no checkpoints or something similar (as a player I can't stand watching the same sequences for a third time I always give second chance but rarely third) - gameplay controls: jumping could be done a bit more responsive there are few tutorials how to achieve good jump To sum up: It's very good atmospheric game with interesting story and well made graphics. It lacks some gameplay polishing and CHECKPOINT or at least skip CUTSCENE feature. In overall GOOD JOB! |
