| Aug 15 17:16:38 | Trash Mage | ♥ 1 | Really cool concept. I like the idea of killing apps and it fits nicely with the theme. The music was good and the art was solid. I also think it's funny the idea of flushing the data down the toilet. The game itself was pretty good. The controls felt a little heavy, but that may have been the HTML5 version. Overall good job and congrats on finishing! :) | |
| Aug 15 17:33:37 | 16m 59s | Born to jump | ♥ 4 | I really enjoyed this! The game fit the theme well and had solid humor. I think the only issues I had were that rotating the body parts sometimes didn't move the way I wanted and there's not a ton of time for correction. Definitely can think of some fun post-jam ideas I'd implement which is always a sign of something great. I hope you keep working on this and congrats on finishing! |
| Aug 15 17:56:58 | 23m 21s | Lest mynyt vacation | ♥ 1 | Unfortunately a game like this was made a few jams back, so this isn't the first iteration of this that I've seen. That said it DOES fit the theme very well. And mechanically it works great. I liked the art and the music is fun too. The differing levels of difficulty is a nice touch. Good work and congrats on finishing! |
| Aug 15 18:32:33 | 35m 35s | SPACEFORCE! Funding Secured. | ♥ 1 | Super simple. Super easy to pick up and get right to business. Love it. The graphics are what they are, but I love the soundscape. Everything contributes to this feeling of uneasy space-ness. Nice job! Congrats on finishing! |
| Aug 16 08:40:19 | 14h 07m | The Battle for the Earth | ♥ 1 | I agree with what's already been said. The music went really well with creating an atmosphere/mood and the way you worked character creation/stats into the opening was really quite brilliant. I enjoyed this a lot and I hope that you continue to do interactive fiction. It's a strength. Also, thank you for playing Dungeon Time and congrats again on finishing! :) |
| Aug 16 08:57:05 | 16m 46s | Second-Claw Shop | ♥ 2 | This is a really fun idea! Like some others it took me a second to figure out exactly what the objects on the side meant, but if you look at the in-game instructions, it makes sense. After that it was just a matter of playing around and finding the exit. I couldn't see what the object was in the final moment, so maybe just make that longer. Thanks for playing Dungeon Time, congrats on finishing, and good luck! :D |
| Aug 16 09:05:04 | 7m 59s | Break The System | ♥ 2 | Thanks for the feedback on Dungeon Time! I enjoyed playing this and I feel like there are a lot of different things to do/ways to play which is always nice. I agree that maybe switching the button to use items to RMB or something else instead of hold and release of LMB may be better - I was having a bit of trouble handing documents to people. Otherwise it's a fun idea and fun to play. Thank you again for commenting and playing my game, good luck, and congrats on finishing! :) |
| Aug 16 19:33:44 | 10h 28m | Placeholder | ♥ 0 | @maroovan I tried getting to your HTML5 version but it looks like it's down. I'm gonna try the Windows version now. |
| Aug 17 17:18:33 | 21h 44m | A Way Out | ♥ 1 | Nicely made and an idea I haven't seen yet in the entries I've played. Very simple mechanics. Everything was executed well so that there's really not much room for error, but a lot of room for fun play. Definitely keep making games! Congrats on finishing and good luck on future LDs! |
| Aug 17 18:21:33 | 1h 03m | CRUMBLE | ♥ 2 | This was a lot of fun. I like the graphics and I think it plays well and definitely fits the theme. My one suggestion would be to simplify the controls a bit. (I know that sounds crazy.) But if you just kept to WASD for when you're selecting where to teleport I think it would help avoid that sudden change to using the arrows. (Unless there's a reason you can't do that, but it seemed like I couldn't move during the teleport phase anyway.) Along those same lines, I found using E for pickup a little awkward if you're using WASD, so it would've been nice to have keys for my right hand to use to accomplish the same actions as ERX (maybe JKL?). Again, these are very minor details and overall it was a fun experience. Congrats on finishing! |
| Aug 17 18:53:19 | 31m 46s | Claustrophobia | ♥ 1 | Great graphics! Fun puzzles! I really enjoyed playing this and I hope that you'll continue to expand on it. Very nicely done. Congrats on finishing! |
| Aug 18 17:01:10 | 22h 07m | Clod's Quest | ♥ 1 | Very cool! I really enjoyed this! Just a very simple puzzle game with easy to grasp mechanics. I really felt encouraged to try different ideas and it never really got repetitive for me. Nice job! Thanks again for playing Dungeon Time and leaving such nice feedback. I hope the rest of LD is great for you and congrats on finishing!!! |
| Aug 19 03:53:41 | 10h 52m | Don't mess up | ♥ 1 | I really loved this. I made it to level 6 but that was where I tapped out. I've played puzzle games like this and I always find them really fun, but I'm just not the best at them. Well done at creating something great. I actually didn't mind the foot steps and thought the sound design was solid for a jam. :) Great job and congrats on finishing! |
| Aug 19 04:01:08 | 7m 27s | PhantomMARE | ♥ 1 | Nice! YEAH! I scared those grannies! I enjoyed this a lot, but that's probably mostly because I had a similar idea a long time ago and never got around to making it. Well here's the proof that it would work and be a fun! Nice job putting the pieces together. I hope you keep working on it and flesh it out more in the post-jam. It's a really fun idea and you've got most of it down already! Again, nice work, keep going, and congrats on finishing! |
| Aug 19 04:08:52 | 7m 44s | Gunning Out of Space | ♥ 2 | I definitely like the idea of this game and having your misses create an obstacle is a very fun idea. At first I thought I could get around it by not shooting at the ground, but that eventually gets back to you too. My top score was 50 but by that point I don't think anything would have saved me hahaha. They come pretty quick. Nice job and great idea for a mechanic that limits your movement. Congrats on finishing and good luck! |
| Aug 19 05:37:06 | 1h 28m | Too Close | ♥ 1 | Cool mechanic! I liked how you used the theme so that the character was running out of physical/mental space to deal with those around them. It took me a few tries but I finally made it to the end. Fun to have a stealth game in the mix. I think this is the first one of those I've played in this jam. Nice work! Thanks for the kind words on Dungeon Time. I'm glad you had fun! Take care and congrats on finishing! :) |
| Aug 19 21:47:19 | 16h 10m | Astro Run | ♥ 0 | Hey! The different planets where interesting and I had fun playing it. I think it needs more polish, but you knew that from your description. It took me a couple of lives to figure out exactly what was what, but then I was able to make it out of space. Thanks for playing Dungeon Time! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much, good luck with the rest of LD, and congrats on finishing what you did! :) |
| Aug 19 21:54:47 | 7m 28s | Poison Panic | ♥ 0 | Pretty impressed by how much you got done here!!! The action was very frantic so "panic" is right! I liked the little text descriptions you gave when grabbing items or leveling up. I think you might want to include a way to go full screen because my only real issue was clicking outside of the window and losing it - if this was a single-player game I'd just say pause the action if you click outside, but obviously in an MMO that won't work. Otherwise this really has some intense gameplay! Thanks for playing Dungeon Time! Good luck with the rest of the LD and congrats on finishing! |
| Aug 19 22:10:16 | 15m 29s | Flesh Packer | ♥ 1 | It took me a bunch of trial and error, but I was eventually able to make it through. Mostly I'll echo what others have said and say that this was preeeeeetty dark. I also think it would have been fun with multiple solutions or more descriptive text when something doesn't work, but obviously time doesn't necessarily allow for that. All in all it's a simple game that works and has some humor to go with it. Thanks for the feedback on Dungeon Time and good luck with the post-jam version! Congrats on what you got done! |
