| Apr 24 18:45:37 | Arbour | ♥ 2 | **SPOILERS** This is a fantastic entry. Where do I even begin? You manage to tell a story without using a wall of text. From the very beginning you are filled with a creeping feeling of hopelessness. But you carry on, until the very end. You gave just enough information for the player to keep wanting more, and piecing together bits to try to figure out what's going on. And you could not have done the ending better, after you die and the game closes, you are left there with a feeling of emptiness. I genuinely enjoyed every moment of it. Great job! | |

First of all it follows the theme very well and has an interesting idea that in turn is executed very well. The audio is very good and together with some nice visuals they give a satisfying feel to the gameplay. But most importantly it is fun, it is fun to run around slashing the enemies to death, I feel like samurai jack, and that is great! π Great entry, well done! π₯ |

The art is coherent and very cozy and the music just hits the right notes to make this a superb feelgood game. Great job! |

My favorite part was the platforming, it was really solid and I would love to see that incorporated into a different game, like a parkour game.I appreciate that I didn't really have to solve the riddles as I am terribad at it. Overall great entry! |

My favorite song was the 4th, so good job on allowing people to "skip" levels after playing them 1 time. That is a great thing to have in a LD entry. |

Adding a doublejump or slightly increasing the height amount would make the game a lot more smooth. I am very impressed though that you managed to make such a nice game considering your age and the fact that your first day got destroyed. Great job! :) |

I have seen voice controls in other games, but they have only made the game worse. Here they actually make the game better. It was a blast to play, and I actually managed to win. Great job! |

I love animals but suffer from sever allergies, so I appriciated this extra much! If built upon further I could see this becomming a great game for mobiles. |

Before I get into feedback I just want to highlight how amazing the developer is, while trying to play his game on stream, for some unknown reason the screenshake was acting up for me, rendering the game unplayable. He sent me a custom version with screenshake turned off so that I was able to play without the bug. Mad props! Now to back to the entry. Anyone who has played it will agree that this is one of the absolute best games in this LD, it uses the theme perfectly, has lovely graphics with a ton of juice and everything comes together to create a fantastic feel. Great job! π |

Always a big plus with voice acting as well, one of the best games when it comes to the over all audio. Feels very complete, nice main menu and a lot of polish. |

I liked this enty, it had an interesting idea and was executed well. It was fun to see the background forming as you progressed with the jigsaw puzzle. It is difficult for sure, but not too difficult, after a few tries I started to get a hang of it. Great job! |

It's definitely an interesting mix, and one that I have not seen anyone else do this jam, so kudos for that. I had the issue with the sound and some other small issues, but that's to be expected in a Jam game. Some things that I would wish for: - Ability to jump - Visual feedback from hits (flashing red or something) - Maybe some kind of combo meter, like how many hits you have gotten in without taking damage yourself. Well done though! |
