Apr 24 04:02:40 YOU LEFT ME. ♥ 1 Impeccable production values, incredible story and fantastic artwork. Holy.
Apr 24 04:15:34 12m 54s Maze Ship ♥ 1 The camera is perhaps a little too zoomed in, which combined with the otherwise so-so movespeed means its more of a chore than fun to go through the levels (especially the last one). Perhaps speed the ship up a bit? Or maybe add more interactive items in dead ends.
Apr 24 04:25:52 10m 18s Fish Fighter ♥ 1 The music makes it a really tranquil experience, and I enjoyed that, even if it kinda felt at odds with the shooting.
Apr 24 04:56:33 30m 41s Match Strike ♥ 0 Man this one is a brilliant take on the theme. And the controls are quite something.
Apr 24 14:33:45 9h 37m Seaman Sleuth ♥ 2 The html5 didnt run for me (couldn't load index), but the executable worked just fine. Fairly short and straightforward, I wish there'd been clues to find in the environment (or maybe I just missed them?), but the humor was totally on point and the point and click bits had some pretty solid art. Tis a solid submission!
Apr 24 14:42:38 8m 53s Infernoculus ♥ 2 Turn based soccer on a hex grid turned out to be quite interesting, who'd have guessed? Fantastic job on the design department, from the in game visuals to menus, it all looks quite cohesive. If I have to nitpick anything, it would likely be the music buts probably because I played it for too long >.>
Apr 24 14:53:38 11m 00s Escape_ ♥ 1 It took me a bit to figure things out, but the game's really well made and the music goes really well with the game (it never really got to the point where it felt repetitive). Adding the time constraint and power failures was a neat touch.
Apr 24 15:04:00 10m 22s Praxre ♥ 2 What an incredible experience. I dressed up a Hauntzer-wannabe, we played hide and seek in the forest to thrilling heart pounding music and then teleported to our boats to continue fishing. Still not sure which part was the fever dream. It was absurd, but in a fantastic way (and the music really helped).
Apr 24 15:39:14 35m 14s Par 99 ♥ 1 Man what a fantastic idea, and such a wonderful design to go with it. The controls were simple, it looked crisp and it sounded rather phenomenal. Really, great music, completely redefines the atmosphere.
Apr 24 16:44:32 1h 05m Forging Heroes ♥ 2 That was an interesting experience, though I hit a few snags (my weapon broke and I couldn't pick the other one up off the ground). The graphics and sound were really well done, the gameplay was simplistic but elegantly so.
Apr 24 17:00:56 16m 24s Honest Dan's Trout ♥ 1 Man this was an intense experience, I really like how the graphics are simple and yet so elegant, reminiscent of old GBC titles. The game is quite complicated/difficult to play, but really fun. Really fantastic execution of the theme. Only got to ~500 so far.
Apr 24 18:36:50 1h 35m Rainy Day ♥ 1 That was a bit difficult, and falling through the board was a bit of a pain (I got around it by being really slow). Nicely made, I really liked the mood you set up with this one, of tension and release.
Apr 26 03:10:12 32h 33m The Mad Bulleteer ♥ 0 I had way too much fun playing this, really neat idea. The sound effects eventually got boring, and the enemy designs were also fairly uninspired, but the core mechanics were executed pretty well so it never really let me down.
Apr 26 03:36:32 26m 20s Peculiar Adventures of Dorothy Hops ♥ 2 What a fantastic little experience! The production quality is really something, it hardly feels like a jam game at all. The music, the fantastic art and the simple but slick controls work exceptionally well together. I couldn't really figure out if there was a way to simply avoid the robbers, so I ended up always buying sweet rolls and not giving them any! Are you planning on continuing with this?
Apr 26 04:02:02 25m 30s Super Soccer ♥ 1 Man that was quite the fun game! U agree with some other commenters that the AI wasn't too smart and the pacing felt a tad too slow (with both aim + power for 3 characters one by one). Though, it was quite fun to coordinate things once I got the handle on it. Nicely done!
Apr 26 04:15:35 13m 33s DUNK EM UP! ♥ 1 Holy shit, what an incredibly fun game, I absolutely ❤️ that slowmo on dunking, SO SATISFYING! Fantastic game, and it gets hectic really quickly so it doesn't get boring at all. Not to mention the art is 👌 and the music, while its looping, is never really the thing you focus on so it doesn't get annoying either. Wonderful job here. You might wanna consider putting this on android!
Apr 26 04:26:30 10m 55s From the Breach ♥ 1 That was actually quite fun. The car felt a little boaty, but it seemed to tie in to the game's less aracde-y presentation. I sometimes got struck on rails and then took a while to fall off, but thats the only thing that really presented any issues. The whole idea of driving around monsters to activate defenses is really cool, and is quite enjoyable to play.
Apr 26 06:00:39 1h 34m Karaoke Ninja ♥ 1 Definitely the most innovative game this jam. This has fantastic potential, you should totally run with it! So much fun to play with friends.
Apr 26 06:42:19 41m 40s CrossingDeads ♥ 0 It says "Activate ligth" on the intro screen, you probably wanna fix that (html5). Also the collisions are intense! Sometimes I got stuck between zombies and had to restart. Really well made art and music, though, I enjoyed the concept. The annoying bugs really mar what could've otherwise been a fantastic experience.
Apr 26 15:47:27 9h 05m FPSville ♥ 1 Hmm that was a fun, if somewhat incomplete-feeling experience. I felt like the idea of an fps farming sim is pretty neat, but the mechanics weren't quite there to support it. I tried out it audio version, so I'll offer some feedback on that too. * The gun having no ammo limit/no downtime between shots meant there was no reason to ever stop holding down M1, which made the combat rather unexciting because you didn't really have to manage anything. The same is true of the sprint, since you can sprint endlessly there's simply no reason to ever slow down (you still stop instantly, so momentum isn't as issue). * As far as I could tell, headshots aren't any different from bodyshots, which combined with the above meant the first order optimal strategy was to simply hold Mouse + Shift down and keep spinning the mouse around randomly (especially since it seems I was faster than any of the enemies and they didn't try to cut me off or anything). * The portal was super cool, I might've tried to use it within the core game as an ability or something simply for the coolness factor. It being limited to level swapping meant I didn't really get much time to appreciate it. * The gun feedback was somewhat underwhelming, both on the visuals/gameplay end (no recoil to speak of) and audio (it sounded fairly weak and dinky). Maybe you'd planned upgrades with more powerful feeling stuff with recoil + sounds? A shotgun might've worked better given that you're a farmer getting goblins off someone's lawn. All that said, as a gamejam game it does alright, but if you'd want to continue working on for a postjam release I'd highly recommend revisiting some of the core systems and adding some game feel and depth to them.
Apr 26 15:55:05 7m 38s Jeff From Accounting ♥ 1 That was brilliant. The idea was innovative and the music + visuals were so damn polished, its amazing! On the gameplay end of things, I couldn't figure out if there was a way to compensate for missed shots, since if you miss a single shot you had to redo the word and it meant that the enemies pretty much always caught up to me. Perhaps some hitstun per shot or slowmo while reloading would help?
Apr 26 16:03:04 7m 59s Gem Labyrinth ♥ 1 Man, some serious production values on this one. The art was simple, clear and so damn charming, and the music complimented the whole rhytm movement approach pretty well. I like the fact that enemies have attack indicators, it added an element of strategy to what otherwise would've been simply a fast paced action game. And the pickups add another dimension to that planning because you wanna get them all before you kill all the monsters, and that means leaving some alive until later. As a whole, really enjoyable stuff!
Apr 26 16:17:24 14m 20s Oni Hunter ♥ 4 Seriously, this is unbelievable for a gamejam game. Incredible graphics, solid sfx, and really, really engaging gameplay - not only does it have the core requirements for a fantastic experience, but with all the extra effects like the hit indicators, the flashes, the screenshake and stuff, it was truly elevated to a 5/5 experience. This honestly could be sold as-is and still do exceptionally well!
