Dec 4 03:36:52 Party Maker ♥ 2 Wow, really liking the vibe on this one. The graphics are top notch, nice job on those dance animations. With the down tempo beat and a strong adherence to the theme, this is a winner! Congrats on your first Ludum Dare - this is a great showing.
Dec 4 03:50:28 13m 36s The More You Snow ♥ 0 I'm liking the procedural effects on the snowball, between the addition when rolling and the subtraction when hitting a mine. Nicely done.
Dec 4 03:56:43 6m 15s Holiday Parking Panic! ♥ 1 Rainbow Booster is a winner. Top score of 6! Nicely done, this is a well polished package.
Dec 4 05:15:08 1h 18m Elf Fortress ♥ 0 As a fan of Dwarf Fortress, glad to see you were able to whip up something in the same spirit in short order. Well done.
Dec 4 05:20:10 5m 02s Livin' Rich ♥ 0 Hey, just a heads up, you're going to need to upload the data folder (Livn'Rich_Data) and the player DLL, UnityPlayer.dll, along with the executable. Best practice is to zip it all together. Good luck!
Dec 4 05:29:59 9m 49s BOOTY LOOTER! ♥ 1 Agreed with the comment on the graphics. Nice modelling and texturing work.
Dec 4 05:39:02 9m 03s Puzzle Progress Prototype ♥ 1 Good start to a puzzle mechanic. One thing that should be noted is that there is "gravity". Took me a second to realize that. I thought I was playing "top down", but rather it's from the "side". Also a bit stressful with those blue blocks eating up the grey. Wasn't sure their interaction with the gold blocks. Looks like they can't eat them, but that the red blocks can blow up the gold. Nice entry!
Dec 4 05:44:20 5m 18s MAMMONITE LD40 ♥ 1 I'm liking the graphics you put into this. Definitely a good style going on. And nothing wrong with smashing the gold out of some goblins too ;)
Dec 4 05:55:24 11m 04s The more gold is lying around, the harder it is to move! ♥ 0 Reminds me of cellular automata like the Game of Life. Neat little game. Couldn't get them to clone though, maybe they were too busy making all that gold?
Dec 4 06:25:42 30m 18s Sunken ♥ 1 Agreeing with those above me, the art is nice. Other than the double tap which has already been mentioned, I'm a fan.
Dec 4 06:27:45 2m 03s Swift Thief ♥ 0 I don't think Windows users will have any luck running your game, sadly!
Dec 4 06:47:35 19m 50s you are the coin master ♥ 1 Nice, glad to see a PICO-8 entry in here. Got to 115 before it became pretty much impossible to see where I was going. Interesting use of the concept.
Dec 10 04:50:22 142h 02m Collector ♥ 1 Nice first entry. See you next time!
Dec 10 05:00:06 9m 44s Extreme Whiski Slalom ♥ 1 Nice homage. Funny how the level ends right before the yeti grabs you and you can let him drag you off into the abyss.
Dec 10 05:14:59 14m 53s High Protein Diet Dungeon ♥ 1 Really liking this one. Had a lot of fun playing it. Died to the ring of them that spawned after picking up the key a number of times. After a while I felt it was best to stay lean, but it did certainly carry some risk to it. Well done!
Dec 10 05:22:21 7m 22s J-C's poopy evolution ♥ 1 I'm a fan of the world you guys have created, with each face having a different theme. Nice!
Dec 10 05:27:09 4m 48s LOCOPLAYA ♥ 1 Nice job on the character model.
Dec 10 05:33:38 6m 29s Widget Satchel ♥ 1 Nicely done team. Really solid work on with the art, and overall a high level of polish for the 72 hours you had. Cheers!
Dec 10 05:43:41 10m 03s Mage : Arena ♥ 1 Haha great minds think alike! We both did arenas with fire mages as the main character, and on top of that, we both had fireball and flamethrower as our two attacks. Kudos to you my Ludum Dare brother. I'm digging the Doom aesthetic.
Dec 10 05:52:16 8m 35s Just Fishing ♥ 1 Definitely a cute little game. Largest I caught was the squid. Had to download the source and check the assets to see if I was missing any other big catches. The gull silhouettes had me on edge though - they looked like they were going for my stash, haha. What's the connection to the theme on this one?
Dec 10 07:43:47 1h 51m Burn Bunny (in space) ♥ 1 Very much digging the art and sound. Looks like a bit of tuning was needed though - hard to survive for long when the ship is depleting faster than you can travel back and forth! Overall very well done.
Dec 10 07:55:39 11m 52s Cardhoard ♥ 1 There's a lesson to be learned from this entry - keep scope small and polish! You've done a great job, and I'll need to keep this more in mind for my next entry. Well done.
Dec 10 08:38:14 42m 35s Disaster Strikes ♥ 1 Of all the games I've played, this one I played the longest. My city was enormous by the end! Had fun growing it larger and larger. Too bad you can't zoom out, would have been impressive to see more of it at once. Also, don't forget to rate other people to expose your game more!
Dec 10 08:47:51 9m 37s A Walk To The Finish Line ♥ 1 Nice, simple puzzler. I'm impressed by how many levels your were able to put in with the time you had. Congrats!
Dec 10 09:00:21 12m 30s A Spark of Light ♥ 1 Going supernova once, adding white to the whole screen, was fun if ultimately fatal. Tough to strike that right balance between being sub 1 to grow the screen while also maintaining enough light to avoid surprises. Fun game.
Dec 10 09:31:37 31m 16s Iglu ♥ 2 A fun game to be sure - just a bit too punishing! I must have done the 2nd level 40+ times before beating it. And this was with version 0.2. But other than that, it's a great effort.
Dec 10 09:58:16 26m 39s Snake Force ♥ 0 This entry impresses on all dimensions. Amazing you were able to cook it up in 24 hours. Hats off to you. While I've found that many entries make the core game mechanic more boring when leveraging the theme, such as slowing down the main character, yours certainly becomes only more interesting. Love having a cathartic mow-down of my team mates in the slow motion ending too.
Dec 28 18:46:54 440h 48m Super Goop! ♥ 1 I like the art and the down-tempo music. What could be improved is the level design - a number of the jumps were just a little too finicky and needed to be timed just right. I do also like your application of the theme and the way it manifests on the sprite work. Nicely done.
Dec 28 19:02:20 15m 26s SCRAMBLED ♥ 0 Agreed with the sentiment others have mentioned. Very ambitious for a Jam game. There's a lot to like about this. The scope of the level, the fact that there are two characters, the amount of artwork, and even the hidden menu that comes up with the tab button. If I had to critique, I would ask for more lighting, as the level is quite dark even out in the open. I also didn't realize the health was up in the top right until I had almost died, and by then it was too late to grab any hearts. Well done team. With some refinement you've definitely got a real game on your hands.
