Jul 31 15:03:12 THE RISING OF THE MACHINES ♥ 1 I really liked the way you implemented the movement of the character, seemed very smooth, and really enhances the gameplay. The voice over was nice as well as the crescendo on the enemy waves. The aiming is not very precise though, could be better as well as adding a collision to stop the robots, from going above the houses. After all the technical stuff, I just want to say that I've played the 10 levels, and I really enjoyed. Good Job!
Jul 31 15:33:04 29m 52s Pogo Stick Granny ♥ 2 This game give us a new and funny concept. What make the core of this game is the mechanics/physics envolved in the jumping and you did it very well. The graphics were also good enough to immerse ourselves in this crazy funniness. The downside really was missing objectives, or some records to keep the player interested and engaged enough to play the second time. Also, when you jump there's some problems when bumping into the walls, but nothing more time and a better map layout couldn't fix. After all the technical stuff, it was a very original game. Congratulations!
Jul 31 16:16:35 43m 31s Don't be (the) patient ♥ 0 Really liked this game. The concept is simple as well as the implementation. That's what really stands out from this game, play for play. I thought that you could maybe add some UI to explicitly display the patient life, without the need of the sound, think about a player using headphones, for example. Anyway, the game was really good and I see it fitting nicely on a mobile scenario. Good Work!
Jul 31 16:25:09 8m 34s Proto472 ♥ 2 Proto472 is a good game. The art of the character goes along with the UI and the map, delivering a good experience to the player. The movement as well as the jump are good too. I can see this game on mobile fitting nicely. Good Job!
Jul 31 16:40:29 15m 20s Demonic Powers ♥ 2 I really enjoyed this game. From the ability to destroy walls to the sprites you used on the characters and map... Really good. The only downside I saw was that maybe the level was too long, maybe I'm a bad player, but separating the main level to different levels, I think will increase the coolness of this game, but I understand this is a 48 hours game and the delivery has to be quick. Also I've liked to see an improvement on the UI. Anyway, this game has a real potential to be something special. Keep Coding!
Jul 31 16:51:25 10m 56s Wayside : A world awaits you ♥ 1 You picked a Super Meat Boy's style, that you knew that worked and made it better. Really enjoyed the game, remembers me a lot of super meat boy, although I prefer the controls this way with the mouse. The art is simple but delivers a very good experience as well as the jumping physics. I see no downsides here, I think the game is very good, and can't wait to play it in my mobile. Don't forget to tell everyone here on Ludum Dare, when you deploy it to the mobile devices! Congratulations!
Jul 31 17:12:08 20m 43s Don't let running out of power ♥ 0 Need some improvements. The concept of the game is good although the implementation was not the best. The mechanics envolved in the combat, the core of your game, weren't solid, should have been more smooth, there's where you lose some points in my opinion. Also there's a bug that I saw in the rotation of the fat mosnter, sometimes he walks on the opposite direction that he's looking, don't know if it happens to the other sprites. Anyway, after all this, the game has a nice concept but the delivery didn't captivate me. I'm sure you will take this opinion as a productive learning, and I can't wait to play your next game! I see you on the next Ludum Dare! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Jul 31 17:23:27 11m 19s MICROSCOPIC ♥ 1 Good job with this game. The art is very well created, the movement of the cell seems nice as well as the movement trail effect. I see no downsides here, maybe adding some features like more enemies or more objective along with the main objective. This has potential, good job.
Jul 31 23:52:04 6h 28m Journey in the Dark ♥ 2 Nice art and jump/move mechanics. Maybe working a little more on the menu UI and putting some sort of tip to click on the mouse button when the flashlight is turned off. If you invest more time in this project after the ludum dare, this could evolve to something exciting. Good Job!
Aug 1 00:08:54 16m 50s Leaf Runner ♥ 1 You did a good job, the map look awesome, with all the 2D top down merged with 3D, really cool! The mini-map display is a sweet bonus that I really liked too. Being said that, I think you could have done better on the car movement. Sometimes was really difficult to turn and the update between frames was not that smooth, making the movement seem laggy, I think that have to do with the speed you've given to the car. This is a good game, you've made a good effort, you should be very proud!
Aug 1 00:56:49 47m 55s Influencer Tycoon ♥ 1 I really enjoyed to play this game. Liked everything about it. The concept of the game is fairly simple, but the way it is delivered to the player in the game is very solid and concise. You did a good game, can't wait to see you on the next Ludum Dare!
Aug 1 01:27:12 30m 23s Power, MT ♥ 1 This game is something special. The story is very engaging and the sounds you added make it beautifully emerging. You did a good job. I'll wait for your Post-Mortem on your youtube channel ๐Ÿ˜‰ Keep Coding!
Aug 1 15:40:43 14h 13m Bot Beater ♥ 1 Good job with the graphics and the fight mechanics. I think that you have some problems with the difficulty, on the beggining is a little too much, and as someone here in the comments said, starting with a full power bar will improve the experience, at least for the beginning level. This project has potential if you put some more work into it. Congratulations!
Aug 1 15:48:27 7m 44s D34TH ♥ 0 Simple concept, Simple game, Perfect implementation. Only thing I would fix is the difficulty, found it a bit hard, but that's just my opinion. Anyway, good job, can't wait to see what you'll make in your next Ludum Dare!
Aug 1 16:06:17 17m 50s The Crown Prince ♥ 0 What an original game, with a perfect implementation. The art fits the game very well, the concept is original and engaging, the gameplay was difficult for me at first to wrap my head around, but after "studying" the game description with more attention I got there. Very unique and fun, you could improve more this game that I will follow it. Keep Coding! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Aug 1 16:25:49 19m 32s Blackout ♥ 2 Good game. The movement of the player seemed fluid and I liked the way it goes slower as the player loses power/health. The enemies were I think, what catched most of my eyes, they are challenging but not make the game frustrating to play, and that balance you achieved there is a great achievement for the project. Really liked the art, simple and solid, perfect for this type of game. The music was nice, but what got me to make it a winning point for the game was the nice touch you added when the player is dying, the slower effect. There's no really downsides just a design opinion, I wish you could improve the tutorial page, as well as some color choices that make some colors (yellow if I remember) a bit repetitive. Anyway, it is a awesome game, and I can't wait to see your next projects!
Aug 1 17:04:58 39m 09s โšกCurrent Cityโšก ♥ 1 Good game. I always liked this type of game for being both complex and strategy based, two things that are hard to get on 48 hours made game. But you did it. Even a tutorial is present. For your first Ludum Dare you're a few steps ahead. Congratulations! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Aug 1 17:18:47 13m 49s Voodoo Lockdown ♥ 2 Great game. Awesome graphics, I really liked the player animation. The letters idea is brilliant and original. I'm sure you're really proud. Congratulations!
Aug 1 20:49:05 3h 30m Basement Dweller ♥ 1 Nice concept. The implementation could be better, but it's good right now. From a gameplay perspective I think you could do better with the flashlight, making the light vanishing slowly as the battery is decreasing. I think that you could have done a better art on the basement, but I comprehend that maybe the time has runned out. Anyway, is a solid game, and overall is good. Keep making games!
Aug 1 21:04:18 15m 13s Star Power ♥ 1 Really liked this game. A space shooter/card game... What a nice and original piece of work. Liked the sounds, I think they all fit well with the game, as well as the sprites. The UI is very good too as well as the mechanics envolved in the movements. No down-sides for me, maybe there's some features that could be implemented as well, but the way the game is right now, for me is very good. Can't wait to see what you will present to us next Ludum Dare. Keep Coding! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Aug 1 22:44:22 1h 40m Battery Life ♥ 1 Nice concept, you took the theme a step further. This game remembers me my old times struggling to play the game boy in the dark to save some battery power. I liked the idea, but I liked the game too, you achieved good mechanics overall. Good game and a good use of the theme.
Aug 1 22:55:34 11m 12s Paper Plane Simulator 2007 ♥ 1 Cool game. I liked the physics on the paper, it is the strong part of the game and you did it very well. There's a bug, I think, that when you already are flying, you can push the space button to give it a boost, but I saw that you already know that. (doesn't affect at all the coolness of the game, I think it's better this way) There's another, tied to the space bug, that if you aim to the "sky" and continue to press space, eventually you will die, but the speed will be stuck on 10000 and the distance will be negative, like someone show above. After all, I liked the game, and I think you implemented the concept very well. Keep Coding!
Aug 2 14:57:08 16h 01m The Shutdown ♥ 3 Really liked this game. I always liked this type of games, and I can say that you did very well. The art is awesome as well as the sounds and music. The mechanics are very clean and the story is good enough for 3 days. Hard to tell that this was made in 72 hours of work. Good job guys!
Aug 2 15:13:25 16m 17s Micro Mayhem ♥ 2 Great game for a 48 hours compo. Made the 3 laps and finished in the first place. The controls are a bit difficult at first, a little bit sensitive, but in the end we end having more control over the car. The only downside, given that this was made in record time, was the camera. Maybe giving a free look camera option to the player so he can have a better view of what's going on in the race and with the car. Anyway, you did a really good job with this. Congratulations!
