Aug 1 01:16:34 A Night at Grandpa's ♥ 0 It looks interesting, but sadly I can't play it as there is no linux version.
Aug 1 01:31:51 15m 17s Azrellian Asteroid Field ♥ 1 I really like it! I'm only concerned as around 4600km I ran out of power but it didn't game over or anything.. you might have a missing fail condition in there... I got to 5100km before I decided to end it by crashing into an asteroid. Still.. I really liked the narration you did! It was pretty funny... Could you tell me what the character says backwards when you get a clock powerup? It's probably something like "Rewinding time" but I was too lazy to try and figure it out myself. :P
Aug 1 01:34:12 2m 21s Defender of the Energy! ♥ 1 Yea.. Echoing @shaolin-dave .. I dunno if a WebGL build would work on Linux machines or not, but it would be nice to have builds for other OSes. Provided you're not using any external libraries in your game simply building for the others via standalone should work just fine.
Aug 1 01:36:17 2m 05s Ready, HANDHELD! ♥ 0 I notice you made your game in Unity. It would be nice if you could export a Mac and Linux build so that those of us without Windows could play too!
Aug 1 01:42:09 5m 52s Cryozia ♥ 1 I would like to play, but, unfortunately, the in-browser flash version crashes on start. (I see a large, colorful logo for a split second before I get the "Flash Player has crashed." notice.) I'm running on Linux using Firefox 54. Downloading the SWF and playing locally via a Flash Player I have also causes the failure (but that's probably because it's using the same plugin to run flash as Firefox.)
Aug 1 02:06:07 23m 58s Polarized ♥ 0 As others have said, we can't really seem the theme if you tried to connect it to one in any way.. but.. It was really fun to play! Very enjoyable puzzles and an interesting mechanic. I found on of the middle levels to be harder than most of the others, slightly more so than the last (as I had to think about it much longer before I realized what I was doing). The last level, though, was really fun to play. :)
Aug 1 02:07:37 1m 30s Power Puzzle - My first LD game. ♥ 1 Unfortunately, I can't play as you only have a Windows build and I'm running Linux. It looks intriguing, though.. especially given @defectivemelon 's comment.
Aug 1 02:12:39 5m 02s Power Hamstro: A Hamster Point and Click Adventure ♥ 1 It looks.. interesting.. but yea.. Not much to do there unless there's something hidden I didn't find. :P
Aug 1 02:14:55 2m 16s Dynasty Through The Decades ♥ 0 It looks interesting, but I wonder if you happen to be able to build for other OSes so that someone with a Mac or a Linux machine (like me) could be able to give it a shot.
Aug 1 02:15:59 1m 04s Robot Run ♥ 0 Any chances for a Mac and Linux version? It's not a compo game so I can't look at the source to see if something like that would be feasible. :P
Aug 1 02:29:17 13m 18s Midnight Manor ♥ 2 I liked it! I dunno if you meant for the player to get the "Oh god, no.." screen a lot and simply remember what they had found before.. which is what I ended up doing as it felt like the generator's timer was just a little too short to do any sleuthing. Still, it was a nice little "Escape the Room" experience.
Aug 1 02:30:23 1m 06s REAMS ♥ 2 Any chance on Mac or Linux versions? It looks interesting, and I'd like to play.
Aug 1 02:31:10 47s Blackout: Security Breach ♥ 1 Any chance for a Mac or Linux version? I only have Linux and I'd be interested in playing your game.
Aug 1 02:32:36 1m 26s Selfie Or Die ♥ 2 I just want to point out your link is to the game, but you have it tagged as "Source Code". Also, do you think you can put up some Mac or Linux builds? Or even an HTML5 build if possible (I've seen a few of those). Some people don't have Windows. :)
Aug 1 02:42:05 9m 29s Solaris - Dying Sun ♥ 0 So.. first things first, you seemed to have messed up your Linux export slightly. The folder names for the Solaris_Data are wrong. The one that is called "Solaris.x86_64_Data" is actually the x86 data. I had to delete the other folder "Solaris_Data" as it was the x86_64 version and there was no x86_64 executable. Then I renamed the first folder to just "Solaris_Data" and I could run the game! As to the game, I really liked the planet rotating idea. It seemed very interesting and fun to do.. though I didn't find much of a reason to rotate as I could place things down on top of each other.. When I realized this I started spamming solar panels in one spot and a few defense guns to keep the aliens at bay. It was rather easy at that point. But, I still liked the rotating planet mechanic and found it really innovative.
Aug 5 02:54:47 96h 12m Balance ♥ 1 It looks interesting.. am I to understand that it's a two player game? So you couldn't play by yourself? I'm asking as I can't play right now anyways, because I don't see a Linux build! I took a peek at one of the downloads and it seems it was made in Unity.. so maybe try exporting a Linux build as well? :D
Aug 5 02:56:30 1m 43s Nex Machinan ♥ 1 This looks interesting! I notice you built the game in Unity.. I don't know how you're doing your global leaderboards... they might prevent it, but do you think you could try exporting to Mac and Linux?
Aug 5 03:12:25 15m 55s Airship Engineer ♥ 2 I had fun! Like other entries with similar sound effects.. I greatly enjoyed yours. :P I got quite a chuckle out of it the first time I heard the "warning alarm" one. :P
Aug 5 03:16:39 4m 14s Power Plant Manager ♥ 1 I was disappointed at first that I wouldn't be able to play this nor request a Linux version.. but then I realized it was programmed using the dot Net framework and I wanted to see if maybe I could compile it using mono... Well.. It seems you left something called "JGL" out of your source submission.. that or I'm not putting something in the right place as you have two source submissions....
Aug 5 03:17:51 1m 12s From Kingdom to Freedom ♥ 2 Hey! It looks like you built your game using Unity and provided a Mac build in addition to your Windows build.. but you forgot about Linux! Any chance you could upload a Linux build as well? Would be nice if I could give playing it a shot. :)
Aug 5 03:30:25 12m 34s BioTechnoWorld ♥ 1 Interesting... I downloaded your source and built a version for Linux since I figured it'd be faster than asking you to make a build. :P I did notice what appeared to be batteries, but I couldn't pick any up.. so my energy kept running out really quickly... because.. SO MANY ENEMIES.. AND BULLETS.... EVERYWHERE... OMG... The best part of it all, though? That intro... Truly magnificent. :P
Aug 5 03:34:43 4m 18s LD39:Running out of energy ♥ 1 Like others have stated.. the movements seems a bit strange and it's really hard to get anything if going down.. and left or right is sheer luck. Still.. it was interesting to play and the enemy losing energy and having to respawn was a nice touch.
Aug 5 03:45:29 10m 46s 15 Minutes ♥ 0 Alrighty.. I figured out what was wrong with it.. For some reason.. you can type an infinite number of "SPACE" into the question box.. so I thought it was broken.. but.. I completed it.. Not sure if I entered the correct answer at times, but it advanced and at the end it said I won, so... Yea.. Nice to see a Java game on here. :)
Aug 5 03:52:50 7m 21s Low Battery ♥ 1 I downloaded your game wondering what it was built with.. and noticed it was built in Java! Using lwjgl! So.. I was a little confused that you linked to the source as a "Windows" build.. and then shipped all the binaries for other OSes with it.. Still.. I thought I'd give it a shot.. Unfortunately, even after getting the libraries on the path, it crashes on launch complaining it can't find a method in the OpenAL library.. something to do with "getintegerv".. So I still can't play it. :(
Aug 5 03:54:39 1m 49s Power Crystals ♥ 1 Neat looking game.. but I can't play it! It seems you built it in Unity and on Itch you even say this game is for "Windows, Mac, and Linux" but only the Windows build is in the files! Any chance you'll update the release to add in Mac and Linux?
Aug 5 04:11:17 16m 38s Winding Woods ♥ 1 I liked it! It was fun to move around in and eventually I realized how the rearrange mechanic was triggered so I was prepared for it. (Those landmark objects. :P ) Only thing I want to say is that it was really, REALLY tedious to interact with things.. picking up the power cord or charging banks and interacting with the charging stations required I be oriented a very specific way for the dialog to pop up.. I'm not sure why it was that way.. but.. yea.. it happened... and it made it rather difficult to play without being twitchy a lot and trying to find how to stand in order to get the option to pop up. (I should note I was using the Linux build.)
