Looks really nice!
Some feedback here, if you press shift button like a maniac, windows takes that as you want to activate Sticky keys prompting a message, maybe you should change the fire button of player one.
The camera it is a little bit strange, maybe you should add a lerp to have a smoother movement of the camera.
Also I would like a 1 player mode, that was a problem in my game too, so just add a timer attack mode or something like that to allow people to play alone.
Good game! ^^
The shaders are gorgeous! We had a blast figuring out how to get through to the end.
It looks interesting.. am I to understand that it's a two player game? So you couldn't play by yourself? I'm asking as I can't play right now anyways, because I don't see a Linux build! I took a peek at one of the downloads and it seems it was made in Unity.. so maybe try exporting a Linux build as well? :D
Will do, thanks for the input! and you it's a two player game, but if you can multitask you could do it with one person!
Looks really cool, fun gameplay, cool idea. I had to look for someone to play with, but we had a real fun time with this, and the overall graphics looked amazing. Good Job! :)
Heya! :) I just wanted to say that I tried your game with a friend and we loved it. The graphics look great and I really liked the concept.
Overall, a nice little game that deserves the high score I gave it. Out of the games I’ve played so far this one is my favorite! Seriously, great job!!
Loved the lighting! I had a great time racing a friend! I also had fun trying (and failing) to control both characters at once :3. Well done!
Gotta love sticky keys ruining the fun, quite possibly one of the most loathed features of windows.
Aside from that, this was really cool. Good job with the shaders too, they make the game look suitably moody. As you said, getting anything substantial done during LD is difficult, but I think you guys did well. A two player game is especially complicated to build in a short time.
One thing that would have been nice to see was some ambient sound. Even if it's from a library, since you did such a good job on the lighting, a little more audio would really make a difference.
The athmosphere of the map is so cool but I found the game a bit simple.
I couldn't get a good experience out of it since I have no one to play with and I am not good at multitasking in this game since the controls are a bit hard for me because the numpad is far from the right control on my keyboard (although I finished "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons" alone). However, I like the idea and the lighting was great. The textures was a bit distracting but it was ok. Overall, Good Job :D
luckily I had a friend for multiplayer to play with. We had so much fun. It even got better When we found shooting button. It also supported gamepad, and that was really amazing! We would have loved to use power-ups to take down each other. and also more platforming. But overall, it was cool. keep developing it.
