| Aug 26 19:30:00 | This Game Will Self Destruct in 10 Seconds | The game wouldn't load for me in Chrome. :( | |
| Aug 26 19:39:00 | 9m 00s | Sky Trader | Really nice graphics and a good trading mechanic, but not really related to the theme. Impressive result in the short time though! |
| Aug 26 19:41:00 | 2m 00s | 0.1 Hertz | A nice simple platformer. Reminds me of a cross between VVVVVV and Manic Miner. The gravity inversion mechanic worked well, but 10 seconds seemed a little too long to wait sometimes. |
| Aug 26 19:42:00 | 1m 00s | 7Tulips | A fun collection of minigames. Took a while to understand what was going on and I didn't progress much, but I think you deserve extra credit for making so many different games over a weekend! |
| Aug 26 19:45:00 | 3m 00s | Clean Quickly | A fun game, but I'm not sure I could ever clear the entire room in ten seconds! The collision detection was a bit sticky, as you pointed out in your description, but I liked the randomness of the levels. |
| Aug 26 19:50:00 | 5m 00s | Dust in the Candy Megaverse | A good concept - close to what I originally attempted and failed! I thought the sound effects were fun, but the psychedelic graphics made it difficult to spot the dust after a while. I enjoyed it! |
| Aug 26 19:53:00 | 3m 00s | Memory Groove | Worked fine for me in Chrome. A nice concept, but I sucked at it! I liked the Gameboy-style visuals. |
| Aug 26 19:59:00 | 6m 00s | Kitty Force 10 | A nice platformer, but I felt that the time limit was arbitrary and this could have been made or adapted for any theme. The graphics and music were good. Slightly confusing at the start when told to "Press Start" - I ended up mashing the keyboard to find the right key! |
| Aug 26 20:01:00 | 2m 00s | MatchiMatchi | A nice little match three game, but nothing to do with the theme... |
| Aug 26 20:06:00 | 5m 00s | 10 seconds to find your Path! | A nice idea and not as punishing as other similar "memory maze" games in the contest. |
| Aug 26 20:14:00 | 8m 00s | Poisoned Wizards | I like it! I wish there was a little more strategy involved in placing my guards. You seem to just have to click randomly and hope that your guys get through. |
| Aug 26 20:18:00 | 4m 00s | Half the Time | An interesting concept and game mechanic. I liked the idea of sharing your time with your other half. Well done! |
| Aug 26 20:22:00 | 4m 00s | Seconds-Guess | A really good reactions game. I like how you used the music to mess with my timing. |
| Aug 26 20:24:00 | 2m 00s | A Day In A Life | Nice idea. I was a little confused about how to put out the fire until I saw the water on his desk! |
| Aug 26 20:28:00 | 4m 00s | Distraction | An enjoyable little platform game. The movement of the cubes sometimes makes it almost impossible to reach the higher goals, but adds to the challenge. |
| Aug 26 20:31:00 | 3m 00s | Army of Botz | Interesting idea that requires a lot of forward planning. The HTML5 version worked fine for me! |
| Aug 26 20:35:00 | 4m 00s | Tower Infinity | Really fun once you get used to the controls. Well done! |
| Aug 27 08:31:00 | 11h 56m | Barricade | A brilliant example of using the theme effectively. Excellent stuff! |
| Aug 27 11:51:00 | 3h 20m | Robotica | Really nice game mechanic and ramps the difficulty up steadily. By the time the faces were all grey, it started getting stressful! Nicely done. |
| Aug 27 11:55:00 | 4m 00s | Must Hold IIITTT | I played the web version and it was rather confusing. The text didn't render properly, so I couldn't work out what the buttons did. The first time I started running I suddenly shot up into the air. The next time I fell through the floor. Looks like it could be good with a bit more work. |
| Aug 27 11:59:00 | 4m 00s | You have 10 seconds | An interesting psychological experiment. No idea what happens if you don't shoot. I killed him every time. ;) |
| Aug 27 12:50:00 | 51m 00s | [gamma] | A nice idea and pretty fun. The stars in the background are too big and make it very difficult to see what's going on, so much so that even when I died it wasn't immediately obvious. Good use of sound and powerups. |
| Aug 27 12:54:00 | 4m 00s | Match A Number | Fun once you get to grips with the concept. The time limit makes it very difficult to beat, so the game is perhaps not best suited to the theme. I would probably consider buying the more relaxed version on Android though! Very nice music too. |
| Aug 29 09:00:00 | 44h 06m | Time Flies Straight | A very unique concept and mind-warping visuals. It wasn't initially clear to me what I needed to do, only noticing the little door to the right of the starting area after a few attempts to beat the clock. |
| Aug 29 11:28:00 | 2h 28m | Multitaskor | Some fun mini games, with the difficulty ramping up quickly once you start multitasking. The sound as the timer ticks toward zero doesn't appear to actually relate to the current time... sometimes it started at eight seconds remaining, sometimes at four. |
| Aug 29 11:34:00 | 6m 00s | Legend of Epikouros | An interesting idea, but I think so many people have played it now that it takes too long to get to your 'turn'. I gave up watching after a few minutes. There doesn't appear to be any way to skip ahead. Despite this, it looks like a lot of work went into building the engine and game world within a short space of time. I just wish I could play the game myself! |
| Aug 29 11:49:00 | 15m 00s | hurry! | A really fun shooter with great physics. It wasn't clear how this related to the theme, aside from the timer counting in up increments of ten seconds. Regardless, I probably had the most fun with this game than any I've rated so far. |
| Aug 29 20:10:00 | 8h 21m | SliP | Absolutely brilliant! Lovely graphics and very polished overall. Good work. |
| Aug 29 20:17:00 | 7m 00s | Lil' Kingdom Strives To Survive | I like the idea a lot, but it's a little confusing at first. It's unclear that you need to keep assigning a house to a task - I expected that assigning one to a resource would mean that it would keep gathering that resource. I'd like to see this one developed further, as I really think it has potential. |
| Sep 6 12:10:00 | 183h 53m | 10 Second Roguelike | The theme limits the enjoyability of this somewhat, as I ended up in a dungeon layout that took almost 10 seconds to reach the same point each time, with no alternative routes to make a shortcut with later turns. I like the idea though and have a soft spot for roguelikes. |
| Sep 6 17:05:00 | 4h 55m | Save Them | Nice idea and very good for a first game. The random markers made it impossible to direct the workers more often than not, but they often wandered to the exit of their own accord! With a bit more polish and a little less randomness this could be fleshed out to a decent full game. |
| Sep 14 13:42:00 | 188h 37m | 10 Floors | Really good game with a real sense of urgency and claustrophobia. Well done! |
| Sep 14 13:45:00 | 3m 00s | Pathfinders Delight | A good first game, although a little clumsy in control. The movement of the bad guys seemed a bit random. |
| Sep 14 13:49:00 | 4m 00s | The 10 SEC War | I like the idea, but in practise it proves to be confusing and makes the game feel broken. Removing the ten second mechanic and polishing this outside of the contest would make for an interesting little RTS though. |
| Sep 14 13:53:00 | 4m 00s | Blazin' Fingers | A nice idea that could be expanded into something bigger, perhaps with some sense of progression. I agree that the font isn't ideal, but for such a simple game I find the visuals quite pleasing. Worked fine for me in Chrome. |
| Sep 14 14:00:00 | 7m 00s | War Horse Of Impeccible Desert Taste And Cannons | Very confusing and insanely difficult, but strangely appealing. Even after squashing the enemies I didn't seem to find any items. The blue room was odd too. With some polish to the visuals and the controls this could be a good little arena shooter. |
| Sep 14 14:06:00 | 6m 00s | Don't Walk | I really liked this. The writing was fun and it made a nice change of pace from all the arcade games. Well done! |
| Sep 14 19:54:00 | 5h 48m | Hallucivian | Brilliant! Loved the trippy graphics and the game mechanic. Excellent work. |
