| Apr 28 23:03:00 | RGB | Hello, fellow HTML game maker person. I love the concept. Still stuck on level 4 but trying to get past it. | |
| Apr 28 23:18:00 | 15m 00s | Less is More? | Very atmospheric, easy to play. On level 2, the blue blocks seemed to take forever to migrate to the holes I dug. Like 3-4 minutes of just waiting. |
| Apr 29 04:15:00 | 4h 57m | One Blocky Room | Took me a second to realize I'd become horizontal, but once I figured it out, I laughed. Very short, but entertaining. Good job! |
| Apr 29 04:28:00 | 13m 00s | Rhythm Serenade | I'm not trying to be harsh, but I legitimately could not figure out what the heck was going on. Some instructions would help a lot. |
| Apr 29 04:32:00 | 4m 00s | The Ethereal Stage | This is great for a 48 hour game. Not the usual platformer fare by any means. A couple nits: the music felt repetitive after a few minutes, and it felt like things happened too slowly to keep my interest. If it were a bit faster, with small interface sound effects and different music, it could be 50% better. Maybe also put the hymns in some kind of visible display. The clicking back and forth was slightly (though not very) annoying. <br/> <br/>Great work! |
| Apr 29 05:13:00 | 41m 00s | YLBIN | There is so little here, but it works for you. The level titles do a lot to help the tone. |
| Apr 29 06:11:00 | 58m 00s | Formless Reliquary | Sound effects are so-so. The general aesthetic is very good. Somehow the two vertical lines make the game grid look much better than without. |
| Apr 29 06:12:00 | 1m 00s | Mondricraft | I like it. But it's not a game. :-( |
| Apr 29 06:25:00 | 13m 00s | All Fall Down | It wasn't clear if I was able to do anything. I never found anything that the Z key worked with. I walked to the right until I hit a wall. |
| Apr 29 06:27:00 | 2m 00s | Poke | pyglet does not run on Python 3, so it can't work. |
| Apr 29 21:42:00 | 15h 15m | Recondite Rectangles | This plays really well. The level designs are successful, so good job! Sound would make this feel a lot more polished. Also, the music cut out after a bit. |
| Apr 29 21:49:00 | 7m 00s | Pixel Arena | Surprisingly engrossing, great job. I wish the color trails would fade slowly. I also found it really hard to win on the default settings since the AI has so much of an advantage. |
| Apr 30 05:16:00 | 7h 27m | Justice | Pretty interesting. I haven't tried to play it through yet due to time constraints. I wish I could skip through the intro. |
| Apr 30 06:41:00 | 1h 25m | The Room | "Did they send me daughters...when I asked for sons?" |
| Apr 30 07:18:00 | 37m 00s | Flipcrusher | Wonderful intro, and an actual game! Who'd have thought? |
| Apr 30 07:29:00 | 11m 00s | Antichromatic | I literally could not get past the first set of guns. I can see it being fun, but I shot them ran past them, changed between black/white...nothing worked. |
| Apr 30 07:40:00 | 11m 00s | Ninja Playground | I couldn't get over the first wall after 2-3 minutes, even with a regular mouse. |
| Apr 30 07:44:00 | 4m 00s | Block Breaker | I couldn't figure out what the rules for the character controls were. Music got old fast. Fun little concept though. |
| Apr 30 07:54:00 | 10m 00s | nadir | Thanks for posting a walkthrough (and making a fun game)! |
| May 1 06:10:00 | 22h 16m | Auraline | At times confusing (what are the rules for getting eaten by the dark red?), but overall very engrossing even on a normal laptop. Well dome. |
| May 1 06:18:00 | 8m 00s | One Crate Sokoban In The Dark | Well, it works! Would be nice if it would advance me to a new level automatically though. |
| May 1 06:39:00 | 21m 00s | Root Route! | I seriously enjoyed myself. Well balanced, new, well executed. |
| May 1 07:10:00 | 31m 00s | BBB&B | It's small, but sure enough, it's a game! Wish it was larger. |
| May 1 17:59:00 | 10h 49m | Lumiere | A little audio would have gone a long way. Gorgeous stuff, though. |
| May 2 05:38:00 | 11h 39m | Showdown | Hard to rate without someone to play against. Seems like a fun version of realtime Rock Paper Scissors though. |
| May 2 05:41:00 | 3m 00s | The Minimalists | On OS X, I was able to launch the jar, but could not click [Start] or [About] to start the game. |
| May 2 05:42:00 | 1m 00s | mini-city | Didn't run for me on OS X 10.8. Does it need Java 7? |
| May 2 05:56:00 | 14m 00s | qob | Extremely interesting! I'd be interesting in hearing about any follow-up you do to this. |
| May 2 07:04:00 | 1h 08m | Where is my Bone? | I found the potato! That's all I need. :-) |
| May 4 21:24:00 | 62h 20m | Twinimalism | Great look, good concept. Could have used some audio. The web version was a bit stuttery for me. |
| May 4 21:53:00 | 29m 00s | hru | This entry has the best audio of any I've played. Extremely well done, first LD or no. And the grand prize is perfect. |
| May 4 22:04:00 | 11m 00s | Blind guy Vs Zombies | Fundamentally a good LD game. Audio, win condition, and linear progression would improve it a lot. The UI is more or less perfect for the concept, which is interesting. |
| May 4 22:08:00 | 4m 00s | .Dot | This isn't one of my favorite genres, but it's well executed. Good use of sounds where most entries punt. Sometimes I felt like I should have been able to jump but the game didn't let me. |
| May 4 22:14:00 | 6m 00s | P27 | Well done! I started expecting to get scored based on how many turns I used. Some penalty for failure would also have been nice, or a time limit. Then it would be more of a puzzle. But seriously, good game. |
| May 5 07:35:00 | 9h 21m | The Fair King | Could be a lot of fun if polished more. Interesting (and difficult, especially on a trackpad). |
| May 5 07:44:00 | 9m 00s | Press Z | I pressed Z! Funky little toy. I got to level 5. |
| May 5 07:50:00 | 6m 00s | shon | Peaceful and beautiful. Certainly minimalist. Well executed! |
| May 5 07:56:00 | 6m 00s | The Cave | Finally, a game with real level designs! I love the intro. |
| May 5 08:02:00 | 6m 00s | Mondrianarium | Just the one level, and it looks like you changed the game after the compo ended? That's a big no-no. |
| May 5 08:05:00 | 3m 00s | Tulip | What a wonderful bit of design! Most LD games use boxes as a cop-out. This game owns it and it looks/sounds great. |
| May 5 08:10:00 | 5m 00s | One Bullet | The first couple comments cover my thoughts. Unique and easy to play, though figuring out how to use positioning was a bit tough. |
| May 5 08:19:00 | 9m 00s | The Minimalist | I managed it with the hints, but it was a bit too clever. Definitely unique though. :-) |
| May 5 08:23:00 | 4m 00s | A-Void | I thought the controls were fine, but I agree that it was too hard to see the obstacles coming before they were basically upon you. |
| May 5 08:30:00 | 7m 00s | Occam's Razor | Yep, it's weird. I LOL'd. |
| May 5 08:40:00 | 10m 00s | The Sentient Cube | I enjoyed myself thorougly. Took way too long to fall once I got reeeeally big (like every object in the room). |
| May 5 22:21:00 | 13h 41m | You Must Escape | Sneaking didn't really work for me. I never moved as far as I thought I would. Other than that, I love the concept and execution! |
| May 5 22:26:00 | 5m 00s | Mr. Triangle | Cool concept. Way too punishing on failure, since it can take quite some time to get a level right. Good music. |
| May 5 22:32:00 | 6m 00s | Angry Viking vs Minimalist Hipsters | Die, minimalist scum! Love the scream sounds. |
| May 5 22:41:00 | 9m 00s | The Last Barman | Doesn't seem to be on-theme at all. I made it through the game and had fun though. |
| May 5 22:46:00 | 5m 00s | Triangulum | Pretty and entertaining, but shallow. Music got old fast. I could see this getting really good with more variety and control. |
| May 5 22:51:00 | 5m 00s | Zmore | This is baller. The laser eyes sound effect is amazing. Plays well too. |
| May 6 00:22:00 | 1h 31m | Mind the Gap | I accidentally played for over an hour. |
| May 9 06:36:00 | 78h 14m | Leaf Me Alone | A few rough spots and finicky bits with the vertical air jets. But holy cow, what a fun experience! |
| May 9 06:38:00 | 2m 00s | Minimum Reason Game: Hail To The Potato King | Can't put it in the compo if you didn't create the assets during the jam, sorry. (Entertaining, though.) |
| May 9 20:23:00 | 13h 45m | Duds | I have to disagree about enjoying the mechanics. The AI didn't do anything, so it didn't seem to matter how long I took. Maybe with a proper enemy it would be more enjoyable. |
| May 9 20:34:00 | 11m 00s | Brutaliz'Art LD26 | I felt deliciously superior to my fellow contestants. Funny, unexpected, well done. |
| May 9 20:44:00 | 10m 00s | ::.::::::. | This is AWESOME. Well-rounded and fun. |
| May 9 20:55:00 | 11m 00s | My Little Robo | The biggest trouble I had was physically moving between challenges, so it got stale for me pretty quickly. I think it would be more enjoyable if they were closer together, or if movement between them was automatic. Great job otherwise, though. |
| May 10 22:42:00 | 25h 47m | Robot Hears Kitten | Not much depth, but you knew that. Your kitten sound is very well-recorded. (I hope you created all the sounds yourself in the 48 hours or you should be in the jam instead.) Important part: I had some fun. |
| May 10 22:51:00 | 9m 00s | Stalker | As someone who has attempted to make an adventure game and failed due to the same technology/story tradeoffs, I am impressed with your efforts. Very short but also well done. |
| May 10 22:55:00 | 4m 00s | Digital H | Welp, that was pretty weird. (In a good way.) Most mysterious thing I've seen all day. |
| May 10 23:59:00 | 1h 04m | untitled | The only thing I would have added is a phone home with what the user typed, so you could see how many people did what I did: say "help" and then die. |
