| Apr 23 18:06:00 | Tiny Worlds | Cool gravity mechanic. Frustrating when you accidentally go backwards to the previous planet. :) <br/>I was getting "don't worry jump in the void" kind of message but didn't see anything beyond. | |
| Apr 23 19:02:00 | 56m 00s | Recluse | At first I thought the "Note" in the description was lame, but it makes sense now. Good job! |
| Apr 23 21:00:00 | 1h 58m | Creature Collect | Was confused on first level for a bit since the "Deliver to merchants" graphic made it look like instructions and not a live ship. I like the idea and different creature types but you're right about the physics. :) |
| Apr 24 02:00:00 | 5h 00m | Flea Circus | I love the idea and execution. :D Like the others said, needs more contrast, and the flea appears in front of the curtain at the sides a little. |
| Apr 25 03:17:00 | 25h 17m | Scape | I've seen the "visit every square" thing before, but I like the limited backtrack and special squares you added. |
| Apr 26 04:05:00 | 24h 48m | Snowglobe | When I press space to shake, I get "Snowglobe.exe has stopped working" (Windows, of course) |
| Apr 26 04:19:00 | 14m 00s | BeetleVenture | I like that the player can land, but the graphics make it look like you're underground. Also, the fact that you can shoot the bullets makes the boss fight pretty easy. Congratulations on completing your second game! |
| Apr 26 04:33:00 | 14m 00s | Tiny Robot Island | Could use some randomization as to locations of bots, and a little more documentation or instruction. I don't know if it's my system, but moving around is prohibitively slow. (a full minute to get to the first guy to the north) |
| Apr 26 04:53:00 | 20m 00s | Moonmen: Journey to the Giant World | I know it says the mineral behaves erratically on the ground, but sometimes it disappears. I liked the launch at the end. :) |
| Apr 26 05:22:00 | 29m 00s | Earth Evacuation | Needs more instruction/help. I keep failing: not enough houses, but I don't know how many I need. It would be nice if when I can't build something, the resource needed would show as red or something. I found that I can get the building name by clicking on it on the planet, but that doesn't work for the one with three blobs on the right. |
| Apr 26 05:35:00 | 13m 00s | Foot Defence | I like the idea of the Monty Python-esque foot, but I get "Could not find a Direct3D device that supports the XNA Framework HiDef profile". |
| Apr 26 06:01:00 | 26m 00s | The Dream Sequencer | I'm on netbook resolution, so the bottom got cut off a little, but I could still half-see the inventory. I was worried because it stopped responding at one screen, but it came back. <br/> <br/>I used to play adventures all the time (and I signed up for Tim Schafer's Kickstarter), so I'm glad to see one in the competition. I liked the music too. |
| Apr 26 06:25:00 | 24m 00s | terminus | I'm choppin' for mah life! |
| Apr 26 06:45:00 | 20m 00s | Mr. Butter and the Infinite Bread | Didn't really fit the theme, in my mind, but an amusing idea. One time the extra butter made me big again and my extra width hit a hole, so player beware! |
| Apr 26 15:21:00 | 8h 36m | Tiny Cavern | It seemed like it wouldn't let me trade with the left guy, but worked on reload. Neat crayon-y art. Congrats on finishing your first time. :) |
| Apr 26 15:37:00 | 16m 00s | Nematode | Cool idea, now that I understand it. :) |
| Apr 27 01:59:00 | 10h 22m | Burning Platform | I can't add much beyond what others have said, but good job and thanks for the info about apps I hadn't seen before. |
| Apr 27 03:06:00 | 1h 07m | (Tiny) Worlds of Illusion | I agree about the bullets. I know some games have a limit of one bullet at a time, but usually the "aborted" bullet disappears. But cool idea! |
| Apr 27 03:31:00 | 25m 00s | This Planet Ain't Big Enough For The Both Of Us | I tried and tried, but The Game Wasn't Easy Enough For Me. (read: I'm really bad at it) |
| Apr 27 03:49:00 | 18m 00s | The Tourist | Seems really slow on my machine... Even standing at rest pegs one of my cores at 100%. A second in game time was about 9 seconds in real time. :( |
| Apr 27 04:00:00 | 11m 00s | Finger Attack | I found the DLL myself elsewhere but got the following errors when I run: <br/>"Failed to open the audio device <br/>Failed to open "musique.wav" for reading <br/>Failed to play audio stream : sound parameters have not been initialized (call Initialize first)" <br/> <br/>So I didn't get sound, so I didn't score that. Congratulations on finishing your first entry! I like the idea, but things are a little confusing. The finger disappeared but the health bar is still there. |
| Apr 27 04:11:00 | 11m 00s | Tiny World Travel | Oh wow, hope you're feeling better soon! <br/>Nice video, but I don't have an iPad either. |
| Apr 27 04:27:00 | 16m 00s | Galaxy Music Quest | A klaxon-type sound for a bad ending (timeout, I think) seemed to continue playing on new game. Otherwise everything seemed to work. Nice music. :) |
| Apr 27 04:52:00 | 25m 00s | TinyParts | I thought I was supposed to press c when I found orange guy and ended up back at beginning. Oh well. Congrats on pulling it together. |
| Apr 27 05:04:00 | 12m 00s | Crandell Stryder | It's rather sluggish on my machine, but I love the sounds, and I love carnage! It reminds me that I've been waiting for http://theycamefromhollywood.com/ for over a decade, but I doubt it'll ever appear. :( I had problems getting points, but I still liked walking around. |
| Apr 29 04:26:00 | 47h 22m | TinyFish | Might be nice if enemy fish had lifebars. I couldn't gauge my progress. |
| Apr 29 04:35:00 | 9m 00s | Hamster Bowling | My compliments to the rappers. :) Limited gameplay, but very funny entry. |
| Apr 29 04:57:00 | 22m 00s | Lighthouse | I liked this a lot. It made me think of Continuity a little bit. http://continuitygame.com/playcontinuity.html <br/>It's cool that levels are randomly generated, but for me, the last level was quite easy partly because two pickups (they look like Mickey Mouse ears to me :) were in the same quadrant. |
| Apr 29 05:15:00 | 18m 00s | Tiny World: The Musical: The Game | Very cool. I also would have liked keyboard controls (though maybe then it'd be too easy?) since it was tricky with a touchpad. A subtitle option would be neat too. |
| Apr 29 05:33:00 | 18m 00s | Fail Quest Deluxe | I want to attack the Game Designer but it won't let me! :) I like the "Now Hiring" at the end. Maybe you'll be able to have combat next time. |
| Apr 29 05:49:00 | 16m 00s | Circus Flea | Awesome audio & humor. I was happy to see that jumping into the light worked as I expected. :) |
| Apr 29 05:54:00 | 5m 00s | Planet Slightshot | Panning is also a problem, but zooming out would help. Nice idea. |
| Apr 29 06:12:00 | 18m 00s | Attack of the Tiny People | I'm not very good at these kinds of games, but it seems to work well. Cancel on enter name dialog adds me as "null". |
| Apr 29 06:22:00 | 10m 00s | Junior's Car | This reminds me of Micro Machines. I liked Micro Machines. Some suggestions: Show total # of laps. (eg: 7/10) Slow down car instead of stopping it on the edges. Have some sort of interactive element. eg: A ruler that acts as a shortcut. (saves on distance, but is narrow and difficult to maneuver into) I was going to say wrong way indicator but laps seem to work in either direction. |
| Apr 29 06:32:00 | 10m 00s | Be Tiny, World! | I like the graphics and the idea of shrinking the worlds, but I keep feeling like something should be shooting at me. |
| Apr 29 17:05:00 | 10h 33m | 100seconds'World | Limited, but I know what you mean about time constraints. I like the graphical style. |
| Apr 29 17:16:00 | 11m 00s | Jack Primus and the Adventure of Tiny Things | The first guy can be defeated by jumping on the leftmost block, waiting for him to come over, and just firing over and over. He can't reach you. Congratulations on your first entry. :) |
| Apr 29 17:25:00 | 9m 00s | Flea Game | Text crawler was neat but made stats a little trickier to read. Maybe you could jump to other animals for different "levels". Good job. :) |
| Apr 29 17:32:00 | 7m 00s | Fill that jar! now put some crumbs in it! | Nice graphics. Can you tell us what you were planning, or how you want to expand it? |
| Apr 29 17:48:00 | 16m 00s | Fancy Seeing You Here | Um, I tried to shoot empty space to see what would happen, but ended up killing the guy. When the screen scrolls, I have to move my mouse again to go where I want. But it looks good. |
| Apr 29 17:57:00 | 9m 00s | Fish Simulator X | I like the "frantic" nature of the music, but am also glad for a mute button after extended play. :) |
| Apr 29 18:11:00 | 14m 00s | Frustrating Tiny Rooms | I like it. It's good that the red squares keep you from running around willy-nilly, in levels that have them. |
| Apr 29 18:41:00 | 30m 00s | Godzilla Rampage | Sweet! Reminded me of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crush,_Crumble_and_Chomp! though that game was turn-based. I wish you could move diagonally though, and the plane shadows confused me at first. (thought there were two) |
| Apr 29 18:55:00 | 14m 00s | I Should Clean My Keyboard | I like the multi-bullet-streaking style. I got "Good guys: -1" at one point so you might want to do a less-than-zero check. |
| Apr 29 19:09:00 | 14m 00s | Your Little Tale | I like the graphics and concept, but couldn't fill up the heart bar at all. Would like to see more. :) |
| Apr 29 19:21:00 | 12m 00s | Honey, I Shrunk the soldiers | Nice gfx/sound, but the real danger seems to be getting left behind, not the bugs. I wish there was box-draw multi-selection of units. |
| Apr 29 19:39:00 | 18m 00s | Tiny Timmy and Big Bill | One of the best I've seen so far. |
| Apr 30 04:01:00 | 8h 22m | Dino Wrangler | Nice to see a gravity mechanic where you have to launch other items. It was fun, I played to the end. |
| Apr 30 04:30:00 | 29m 00s | Worlds in Cards | Reminds me of "Continuity" (Flash) and "Rooms" (Wii), which I also enjoyed. Needs more levels, but good work! If you want to expand this in the future, a level editor would be neat. |
| Apr 30 04:38:00 | 8m 00s | Save the tiny world! | I found it really hard to evade the pigs, but liked the whole escort mission vibe. |
| Apr 30 04:54:00 | 16m 00s | 6 Degrees of Sabotage | Very very cool & novel. Awesome job for 48h. |
| Apr 30 05:02:00 | 8m 00s | Flight of the Ladybug | Nicely done gfx. (retry camera is cool) I usually expect this kind of game to be randomly generated, but I guess this way comparing scores is more meaningful. |
| Apr 30 05:15:00 | 13m 00s | My Tiny Town | Like others said, needs more "stuff", but good for 48h. Later you can add disasters like SimCity. ;) |
| Apr 30 05:21:00 | 6m 00s | Ra Ra | Uppercut! Jab! Right cross! Way cool. :) |
| Apr 30 06:01:00 | 40m 00s | Corebound | I like it, finally got to the end. But the music drives me batty. x_x |
