Nice little android game that is clean and looks good. Simple controls and easy to understand goals. Good job.

First, good to see Godot games!!! There is a lot to like about this game, and I would love to see where you can take it with a couple of days more of focused dev.
I really liked this game. Nice way to force the player to stay in the thick of things. Sound, graphics, and controls were all done excellently. Even the menu was fun in its function. Amazing game for a jam.
The visual concept of the game is really cool. Obviously, more work is needed. For a game like this, a tutorial will be important. Hope you continue to develop it, as it seems to be going down a good path.
Will be interesting to see where you go with it. A tutorial will help this game a ton.
Overall, this is an incredible effort for a game jam. It shows why Unity is a great system to use for such a competition. Then again, it is glitchy and a lot of things do not work quite like they should, showing why Unity is not a great system for this kind of competition. I have found that I need to do a day or two of debugging for every day I develop in Unity, and that hard truth is harming this game.
Please continue it and put it out there where people can enjoy it. A few days of clean up and perfection will make this a really fun game. If you can get a bigger arena with more cars, it would be awesome.
I think that a less is more approach to the coins would make this a better game. It felt like I was getting spammed with them instead of motivating. The sprites were fun, as was the banjo. Nice little runner.
Interesting concept. You are the chief arrow catcher for your king... like it. I found moving around to be a bit clunky, but not too bad. It is a game jam game, and polish is not in the time budget. I really enjoyed the look of the game. Everything fit together. Excellent effort.
It did not immediately hook me. I did get more into it after a couple of games. Not sure how to get over that initial hump... maybe a short tutorial? I was having a bit of trouble telling the orange from yellow return. The controls worked well, and the overall look and graphics were well done. If you continue to develop the game, it would be interesting to add customers chasing you down to ask questions, costing you time. Nice innovation.
This is a solid little game. You may consider putting Windows instructions on the page, as it was really easy to run, but I was not expecting it to be with only Linux instructions. Very topical. I liked the art. Really fit together well, and was perfect for this game.
@pillitoka - it is as easy as downloading, decompressing, and running the exe. No commands or renaming needed.
The overall look and art of this game is really, really good. Every element works together and is release-quality. With some depth, this could be a really nice mobile game. Great job.
I generally like the game and was glad to play it. Was having a hard time controlling the candy, so it was mostly picked up away from the grates. With some tweaks, would be a pretty fun game.
I have never been INSIDE a tower defense game before, so this was a fun change. Always like to see a new twist on a genre. Aiming is a bit clunky, but I eventually got it. Loved the tutorial, but not sure if it ended too early or I messed it up. Overall, solid effort.
I am not sure what to make of this game. On one hand, it is a very pretty game with a great player character. On the other hand, I am not sure that I was doing it right, as there needs to be better feedback. I am sure that I was doing something wrong, as I did not feel I was part of the game.
Fun game. Does not break a lot of new ground, but will put a smile on your face. Likely, you will play a lot longer than you think you will.
Very imaginative. Love the story-telling and creation of the overall illusion. Pulled me right in.
@boargames... we did not make the art. This art comes from Craftpix.net, who we have used a couple of times for dev art while my wife makes our actual game art. Their annual subscription is dirt cheap, and they have a lot of material that is very usable. Good deal, if you are ever looking for graphics. In this case, we did not have time for our own art, so we just went with our dev art. This was my first time working with GODOT, and I went in without knowing how to use it. My son and I worked on this game together, and he had enough experience with GODOT to have decided to migrate to it. I participated in this LD to force me to learn the system a bit. I have worked with GameMaker and Unity in the past, and found each to have certain limitations that left me wanting something more. My first experience with GODOT left me wondering why anyone is using something else. There is shockingly little code in this game, and most things that I wanted to do was just built in. It took some time to figure out everything I wanted to do, but everything was so easy once I knew how to do it. By the time that LD47 comes around, I am pretty confident that we will be able to contribute a much richer game. Great system.
@thewustache Thanks. I agree that the spawns can be a bit far. Some more tweaks need to be down, as well as the addition of the "day 2" stuff that did not make it due to time. Glad you enjoyed it.
@scsc This was my first time working with Godot, and I liked it. Sort of was learning as I went. I find that Unity can be a bit difficult to work with in 2D games, and I get glitches that need to be fixed. This means that my time is spent fixing instead of building. Everything that I tried in Godot just worked. Most of my time was spent trying to figure out how to do something in the new-to-me tool. There is very little actual code in this game, as Godot really seems like it was built for the indie game developer instead of a software engineer.
