The set-up is fantastic. I liked the ambient noises and the process of making potions. I think a tablet version would work quite well, though personally I would prefer a "stoked flame" sound to the harsh click of the fire button.
I liked the melody that plays throughout the game. Decent concept. I'm a sucker for a hexgrid.
I would suggest making the active ability visible while the context menu is visible. I suppose it doesn't matter long term, but just jumping in, there's some disconnect between buttons and what happens.
That was fun. The dynamic music is great. The hammer control made conceptual sense; hammer positioning gives good contextual clues. I think hiding the hammer unless your cursor is over something that can be hammered would be good. When it's floating around sometimes it feels like I should be aiming with it. If you plan to add other tools, I suppose putting it in a corner of the "hud" would work as well (that could be done as a space near the camera).
Awesome game! Solid physics and fun mechanics. The music and humor was 👌 💯. Very glad to see another space platformer, and such a good one!
The mode switching was neat. Find a place close to some stars, park, and run around to get them all.
Mechanics are very good. I like the storm clouds in particular. I liked the message for electricity game over a lot :P
level set up was slick. swooping into the flat shards felt pretty solid.
I love the snow globe mechanic, and enjoyed the art and music. The riddles were cute.
It was possible to end up at the wrong distance from the center of the globe from things. That felt bad.
Wow! That was a great experience. The story was very solid and self-contained. I enjoyed discovering it. The puzzles fit the atmosphere, and having learned their mechanics helped the story at the end. I also enjoyed the humor.
Good thinking with the AI. Ranged attacks are a bit too strong. Their range is so high you can't really dodge them if someone spams it. Same goes for when you spam ranged attack though. Thanks.
Wow. The water was very detailed. My computer really had a rough time. I like the design of the characters, though I'd like to see them move more. :)
It had a neat style, and I really liked how the moon was tied off to the side. The music and artwork really fit the game. The mac version worked great. Thank you.
@cyberstarlight Thanks for the suggestions and critique. I'm so glad you liked the menu. Did you notice there's a character that runs around on the planet when you move with the controller? I did that partially because I thought it was cool, and mostly because we made the menu last and I didn't want to touch (and possibly break) a bunch of core systems.
Many of the levels prove to be quite difficult, but fun.
I'm a frog! Sound was simple but effective. I wish I could charge jump or something. Grabbing flies mid-air was LEGIT.
Getting stuck made me a sad frog.
