Methods for Instructing Thine Dragon by cdrch 2019-04-30T23:47:51Z

Very pretty, like the concept - tho it really didn't have anything to do with the theme. Seems like there should be more restrictions on how far apart mushrooms can spawn, and some tweaking of the controls to feel nicer. Also, dunno if there was any goal/ending?

Zap Signal by christina-antoinette-neofotistou 2019-05-04T21:50:37Z

I was having trouble playing because I was laughing too much. Not such a bad problem!

invertebrae by jjjjason 2019-05-04T19:40:48Z

Really enjoyed this one! The music was simple but enhanced the experience a lot. Moving back and forth, gathering words to get more options - I loved the puzzle elements. I agree that it would be nice if clicking "before" automatically put words used on that page back into the bank. I would have liked a more conclusive ending, but overall the writing was really solid!

PizzoTyping by Carpin 2019-04-30T02:24:07Z

Haha, I liked this! The aesthetic is clean, the animation is bouncy. The music is a little too repetitive. The idea is fun, a silly twist on those old educational games. My biggest problem is that it's too hard! I couldn't get over the score needed to beat the first day in a couple of tries, and having to re-do the intro put me off trying again after that.

Piggy Bank ! by FlavienRombouts 2019-05-04T20:11:44Z

Cute aesthetic, fun if literal interpretation of the theme. I was underwhelmed by the music/sound, but not offended. Could use some progression tweaks to ramp up the difficulty sooner since the puzzles do actually get pretty complicated towards the end. There's enough potential depth here to make a pretty decent puzzle game, and I'm impressed at how many levels you made in the short time for the game jam time!

Blood For Power by Finnhax 2019-04-30T22:10:42Z

Decent game, liked the music. Wish the enemies didn't know I was coming before the room even loads, and wish there was an explanation of the abilities before starting to play.

Hell's Pinball by Valden 2019-04-30T02:39:30Z

Oh wow, what a great pinball game! The music was SUPER HYPE, the sound effects were all really visceral and spot-on; and the controls were snappy and responsive. I wish I was good enough at pinball to actually spawn the boss!

Odd, but cute!

Sigillis by JUSTCAMH 2019-04-30T21:31:06Z

Really interesting idea! I played on my tablet computer and after the first wave pulled out my drawing pen to play, which felt really intuitive. I have to admit the upgrade mechanic felt pretty tacked on to meet the theme, and you'd probably be better off with something else. I was actually confused by how the upgrades worked; I couldn't seem to replace the shapes I actually wanted to get rid of. I agree with the reviewer that said the music should get swapped out for something more upbeat, as the pace got pretty frantic after a few waves. A very fun experience overall!

Blood Quest by shaner421 2019-04-30T22:29:52Z

Really enjoyed the music, overall pretty easy to get the idea of what to do - I wish there was some warning for how MUCH life a pickup would take.

Peepo's Parlour by Team Kelly 2019-04-30T02:04:17Z

This is so friggin cute. Love, love, love the graphics. Liked the music a lot too, tho it got a little shrill at times. I liked the way that the consequences for failure affected the UI! I would have rated higher if it felt more like I understood why I wasn't making enough money each day.

Nine Lives by J Briggs 2019-04-30T22:58:15Z

Cute graphics, appropriate theme, music was a basic loop but didn't get annoying. Would like to see obstacles in the levels, differing AI for enemies, and maybe shrinking down the sprites to give more room to maneuver. Loved the names for the lost lives!

Earn Your Life by aCactus 2019-04-30T01:23:20Z

It was interesting, but it lacked a tangible goal. Without any win/loss state, I could just click thru randomly without feeling like there was a particular point. However, the fit to the theme was very good, and the music was great!

A Cup's Life by Anderssonkev 2019-05-04T20:48:32Z

Super cute & quirky design, absolutely stellar sound & music. The puzzles themselves could use some work for more variety and challenge, but overall a wonderfully charming little game!

Pixelate! by iceflakeftw 2019-04-30T22:19:47Z

The concept works very well for the theme, and despite the small amount of time you had, this seems like the beginning of a game that could be pretty interesting. Controls were waaaay too slidey, tho. And the black screen background meant I was having some trouble keeping straight where the boundaries of the play field were. I would also have liked if the level started over automatically after I died.

Fateshift by dougLima 2019-05-04T21:04:45Z

The look and feel and sound are amazing for a game made in the short time of a game jam! It's really just not the type of game I would normally play so I don't feel like I can speak to the gameplay itself. An onlooker commented that the way the sounds/music went together with the limited inputs and controls felt like it could be a rhythm game, which I thought would be pretty interesting!

I'm gonna have to come back tomorrow after I beat the final boss to leave a proper review, but I was pointed towards your game by the previous reviewer, and this is my favorite game of the jam so far!

bblloodd by keternal 2019-05-03T00:48:20Z

Holy Shizz, is it actually possible to beat the final boss??
