Hacking is Probably Not Like This by sayumeki 2020-04-21T22:06:25Z ♥ 0

Lots of nice puzzles in here, will definitely need some practice to get fast enough at it though. Seems neigh impossible to keep up during the first couple of playthroughs when you still have to read the descriptions. I guess that's what the practice server is for.

Simple idea, great execution! Controls were very responsive, the slow camera forces you to remember where things are.

Two minor things I noticed: After one level I was unable to click next level (nothing happened on clicking), did I finish the game? You can shoot while you're dead.

Maybe the enemies could profit from leading their shots. Just linearly extrapolating where their target will be when the bullet arrives.

Took me some time to realize that monks can only learn one job and are controlled by their list of three tasks. In the beginning I was a bit confused at how they prioritize tasks. The batteries also go out insanely quick later in the game.

All in all, the game certainly posed an interesting challenge and was smooth enough to keep me playing. Well done!

King's Table by PetTurtle 2020-04-21T09:47:27Z ♥ 1

Really nice idea with the chess pieces as towers. Rook op!

The gameplay is smooth and refined, rather astonishing for a compo entry, so I could play this for a while. One thing that might be nice is to have the enemies choose one of the shortest paths randomly. It feels a bit disappointing to build a perfectly symmetric mace to have them only go through one half. Maybe that's intended for balance though.

Save The Pink Skins! by gajop 2020-04-21T08:30:15Z ♥ 1

Aren't the hard controls are what makes this game interesting? Might've been nice to have gravity as an extra challenge. Why is space a torus? Maybe hard mode could also punish you for running away if you go outside the map.

I like the physics interaction with asteroids and the twist that you have to let some through.

My Cube by gajop 2018-08-14T10:02:49Z ♥ 1

The game somehow started off-screen on windows for me. Type {Enter}/fullscreen{Enter} to fix.

It would be nice if people wouldn't run off the cliff by themselves (either use hold position by default or auto-kite).

+1 for the throwing animation. The victory event is a bit boring though, it should come immediately after fending off the last wave or something similar.

Even though the game seems more simplistic than your previous LD entries, I like seeing one with more standard RTS controls/gameplay.

My left mouse button got honked.

Nice graphics and interface though. Much smoother than the last Spring game.

mega seems to mess up the folder structure when downloading as zip. could you maybe put everything in an archive for us to download as one file?

Gravitas by SpringCabal 2015-04-21T17:42:00

Luckily the source is included directly in the build, so it's easy to adjust the difficulty to something I can cope with.
Nice graphics and idea. The RTS controls are awkward.
It's a cool demo of map features and terrain deformation.
