Loved the concept, great job! Art was minimal but colours fit haha. I would love to see this concept continued :)
GREAT CONCEPT! I found it hard to decide whether to jump or switch lanes, and sometimes found I would need to jump and then I'd hit something before I landed. Everything worked for me though! :) It just needs some obstacle generation balancing. It could be cool to have very unique moments that using the origami would be a good idea. Reall I just think the main thing missing from this is clear distinction from the different elements. The concept is there, and the words at the beginning got me immersed a little. :)
Such a great concept! Super innovative. Web build I couldn't move at all, or replay the game. Weapon wasn't unconventional necessarily, but totally made up for it with the unique mechanics.
Hahaa! Those gifs sold me right away. Oh my god the tongue... That's amazing, art is awesome!
I just... I can't... even. That's great. Your mind must be a scary place.
Really awesome job! My only complaint is I wasn't sure if the things I was picking up did anything other than give me points, and I didn't fully understand how to get more points by taking the picture, i.e, if I was doing something "better" or not. But seriously other than that 10/10, great art, responsive, and fluid gameplay.
YOU WIN! Wow man, really great job. I can't believe you finished this much in 48h. My only critical feedback is I couldn't get to one of the upgrade crates cause I wasn't really sure how to kill the shield guys until the end part, and the way the camera moves in for slow mo affected me seeing where my bullet was going and if it hit what I wanted it too. The effect is so cool it would be hard to take it out though haha. I hope you continue making this, it's super cool. Again, great job.
Oddly hypnotizing... Not complete of course, but just going back and forth... for what it is... man... I must have done it for like 5 mins...
Awesome! I liked being able to build and attack. I think adding some sort of level design would make the fun factor really increase. Being able to set up encounter areas and choke points would overall help streamline the experience and create variety. Great job though!
Holy mouse acceleration Batman! I was accidentally doing some 360 no scopes there which was kinda fun. Liked the graphics, I do wish the enemies died faster (like one shot for the red things and 3 for the skeletons) it would just make the player feel really good for killing a lot of things, and allow them to get farther before dying. OH MAN AND IF THEY EXPLODED! BOOOOM! More player feedback (and more exact mouse movement) and this could be a fun little FPS dungeon crawler. :)
Great use of the theme. Endings didn't keep the same emotional impact as when I was reading the text (I guess not as much build up as I would have expected). Respawning at the start kind of sucked each time I hit a mine. Overall really cool concept! I could definitely see it turn into something SUPER cool with more time! :)
Best art 10/10. :D Honestly though, I really enjoyed the gameplay. It was a bit on the slower end, I played for what felt like 5-10 mins and got 3 base drops. I'd aim for a quicker gameplay loop, and maybe then you could even add a ramp up of the movement speeds to increase tension, and it wouldn't feel as punishing if the loop was shorter. I really loved how the gameplay changed once I got enough for a drop(). Switches things up and keeps it interesting. Dat fist pump tho.
Awesome mood. Level design was done well. Core mechanics need polish as the jump was floaty and the movement slidey (quicker reaction times and more drag on the acceleration). But hey they all worked without bugs! Art was awesome! I can't help but assume the art wasn't all made during the jam though. Freaking amazing if it was! Mood reminded me of Zelda OoT intro.
Hehehehe. Really fun, nice job. I loved the rag doll. If stuff smashed easier it would be basically the best thing ever.
Hahaha friendship. Great use of the theme. I love the high five animation.
Great concept. I love how the arrows bounce! Art is fantastic, gameplay is rewarding, really hit all the areas for me. Being caught kind of confused me though, so I guess stealth could have used some more iteration. If you were to take that out all together and limited movement to only after you've gotten rid of all the enemies, it could be interesting to have the focus all on shooting. Either way, still a great game, really enjoyed this one.
Don't have people to play with, but I must say, I instantly thought of Splatoon haha.
Sweeet. Like the concept. The biggest thing for me is when I would place a rock right in front of a mummy and he would walk right through it cause he was "technically" on the square. If that was fixed would have made the fun factor x5. It has a lot of potential! Keep working on it! :)
Really well put together! Love the shader or whatever you used to get that look. Hehe I could play this all day... much explosion, very boom, wow.
I love survival type games. Very abstract and a little hard to understand. But the concept is there and it is fun to play! I like that your fuel is also your life!
