Tried to play, but was stuck waiting on 'waiting for player` screen.

generic_ghost 2015-04-20 02:54

I wasn't able to get it to work.

toomin 2015-04-20 02:58

I'm afraid it's a multiplayer-only game. You HAVE to have 4 players in the same room in order to play.

sxmn 2015-04-20 03:06

looks like fun

aroymart 2015-04-20 03:13

It looks like it would be fun if we could play without others!

neonlare 2015-04-20 03:20

Am afraid I can't get this to work. You say we need to have 4 players in the same room, connected. Any additional information on this? Can't rate the game without a way to play properly sadly.

jbasinger 2015-04-20 03:24

4 Players? Oof. Is there even a server?

toomin 2015-04-20 03:27

There's a button on the second screen, after you press "Start", that says "Start Server". If no other buttons are visible, you click that to open a room that others can join by pressing the button that appears under "Start Server" on their screen, which says "Room Name" and then a big string of jibberish. Once three more people in addition to the person that opened the room join, the game begins automatically.

Kinda hard to play with no ppl :(

mantlair 2015-04-20 03:42

By connected you mean i need 4 computers in same LAN network? (Hamachi etc.) If that ill try to find 3 people!

toomin 2015-04-20 03:54

Nope, no Hamachi or LAN needed, just 4 people playing the game at the same time, with an internet connection (it's running over a Photon server). It can be anybody from anywhere, though of course the farther the computer the greater the lag.

destruktorrr 2015-04-21 00:39

It was fun. Luckily I use windows, but really since it's made with Unity, you should probably just build it for the other platforms, as well.

The controls were good, for the most part, and the mechanics were pretty interesting. Good job!

rectangular-tim 2015-04-22 01:01

It's possible to try this game on a single computer by starting 4 instances of the game. ;)

pixel-heart 2015-04-22 01:32

Could you make a single-player or at least 2 players "mod" so we can test it? The art style looks pretty nice, it's a pity not to be able to try it!

baknik 2015-04-24 00:31

Looks like it has potential based only on the screenshots. You might want to consider a single player game for the next Ludum Dare. Multiplayer makes things difficult to try out.

sysanin 2015-04-25 20:28

Sorry, this multiplayer concept doesn't work for jams!

steboots 2015-05-04 00:16

Would love to try it, hard to find 4 people to play

nowandstudios 2015-05-07 12:15

Unable to play.

camrfwhite 2015-05-09 04:59

Don't have people to play with, but I must say, I instantly thought of Splatoon haha.
