Found the helmet to be able to live outside the water, but that took me a while.
I wasn't able to figure out how to get on the oil rig even after playing for a good while though.
But the music and the atmosphere is really good!

The game is just great. It is very interesting even just exploring locations and underwater terrain. I was especially impressed with the underwater mushroom models. Everything is cool, I didn't catch any bugs in the game.
Very interesting! I could sink some time into this one.
Adorable little game, nice atmosphere.
Your game has a great atmosphere and i love the music, it fits well. I think one or two more tips would have been great to get people started, not many have the patience to search for long, when they plan to test many more games in a jam. Also some kind of highlighting of important objects (like the other dolphins) would have been of big help. I swam a full cicrcle before I realized there are other dolphins to speak to. Still, its a great entry, keep it up! ^^
Edit: great title xD
Really liked this - got quite a few laughs out of it. Dig the aesthetic, really like the two tracks in and out of the water.
I think I got two different endings? I didn't find anywhere to use some of the quest items, but I went up to the rig and talked to the boss a couple of times. Solid, quick adventure with a lot of laughs.
I like the atmosphere, but I think the game could make it easier to find what you're looking for next. I was also a bit surprised that I just insta-died when the oxygen timer ran out. I thought it would decrease my HP over time.
I got a disguise but didn't know how to continue. I really like the two different soundtracks for when you are in or out of the water. I think the general aesthetic is fun and inspired. I'm quite impressed with the dialogue options to a degree I would consider this game a proper RPG. The physics was sort of buggy, but I don't think it mattered at all and I think its obvious that the time given was used where it actually matter. This game has the most heart I feel I've seen in a game jam project, though I haven't reviewed many game jams before.
Fun experience. Took me a while to figure out i had to kill ALL humans, so even the chill beach guy had to go... The dynamic music is a great touch!
Interesting game. I really like the writing photo_2025-04-08_19-32-49.jpg
best title of any entry this jam
Had fun, Felt a little lost. The music great!
I didn't see the game element as I just talked to 1 dude and somehow won the game but the graphics and everything else was good
I didn't quite get to the end, since I didn't know where to go an all. But the setting was actually really interesting. I wanted to know more and I liked the sorta RPG type. Total Elden Ring killer right here ^^
Nice, gave me Raft vibes (which is one of my fav games!) I couldn't really find what to do though, but i did enjoy the overall game feel
The music is 10/10, and the environments beautiful :relaxed: Super cosy atmosphere.
When talking to NPCs, I really wanted to be able to press space to get the text at once, so I could speed through it quickly. I also though it felt a bit clunky to WASD in for picking an answer instead of using mouse. This is subjective, but I'm really not dialogues guy so I didn't like when I had to go back and talk with NPCs a second time to see if I've missed some information, especially when I couldn't skip.
Also I missed to be able to see the controls somewhere in game, I typically just eyeball the text outside the game . I would suggest to put the controls in the inventory screen, just a an image next to the inventory, where its plenty of room. When starting the game you could have written down in the corner "Press I to open inventory", and keep it there until it is pressed for the first time. In there you also could have added an objective list. So for example after talking to the mask guy you could have added:
Make disguise
- find pen - find canvas - find bowl - Bring them back to Steve
I also feel like the NPCs were a little hard to spot. It would be nice with maybe an indicator on them. Maybe it could be visible only if you're in between 20-100m of them. Then it wouldn't be too in your face when just swimming around enjoying the scenery, and you'd still had to explore and be somewhat close to them before getting handheld. Same with pickupable items.

Obviously you didn't have time this time, but I find it super valuable to try to scope down the game to be able to remove as much friction as possible last day
Unfortunately I got stuck after making the disguise. But cool game still
Cool game and quite interesting, I liked it!
Very funny title, and a nice game overall. Good entry
Funny dialogues, good atmosphere and chill music. It's cool that you managed to make a dialogue system and inventory in such a short time. I really couldn't get to the oil tower, but I liked the game anyway :)
Good game! We've also made a game about underwater exploration and it's really cool how similar and yet how different they turned out!
I really liked the sound design: it really creates a shift in atmosphere when you leave the water. The writing is funny (humans are depicted extremely realiscticaly)
I haven't noticed that there is a button for opening an inventory at first, so i was kinda surprised when after finding the helm I kept drowning (or antidrowning, idk) But huge thank you that the game doesn't restart from the begining after death
Interesting game idea, nice models - enjoyed it overall! well done
Impressed how many systems you implemented in this short time! would love to play a polished after jam version, dialogue is funny *bubbles and the yeeting out of the water is fun
