Protect the shroomberg!!!
An age of war style game made from a growth sim. Embed was too large for my screen. Played anyway.
Interesting idea. Music lil annoying after several minutes of gameplay.
I also had some issues w/ the screen size, I ended up fullscreening it. I thought the concept was cute, I had a bit of a hard time figuring out what I should be doing though.
Mouse click a little inaccurate, but cool idea and fun execution!
Cool! Funny animation and effects
Nice animations
Fully realised theme, and i'm actually playing it for like 30 minutes already, the balance is on top. and music is actually nice.
@soaringmoon thanks for playing and for feedback about screen size. We changed some setting on itch.io and it should be a bit better now :)
@sviborg thanks for playing and yes, totally get your point about music. TBH: it was a bit annoying for us during development :D Initial music was a bit different but we change style a bit and after that changed music and after all had no time to create something better than this :D
@reed-molbak Thanks for playing and for your feedback :)
@katastudios TY for playing and thanks for feedback we'll try to fix click area
@anorphie thanks :)
@olegator0270 thanks for playing :)
@d-omino thanks for playing :) Initially we tried to make one round in 10-15 minutes but somehow we ended with really not bad bot and it takes lil longer usually. At least I don't win every time even if I know how everything works under the hood and my rounds might take around 20-30 mins :D
I really like the mushroom characters, and the gameplay was mesmerizing and chill. GJ
I had alot of fun with this, the character design was dope too
I love a good mushroom game. As others have mentioned, I had some difficulty with screen sizing and being able to see the enemy 'shrooms/know what was going on. All that to say, once I was able to orient myself I enjoyed playing this game and interacting with the cute characters.
haha funny game! xD I love the color palette of the graphics! Nicely done design <333
fun game
fun game, i was just confused at first until i got cooked by the bot
Nice game! Spent some time trying to understand how to play, but after that was pretty fun. A bit repetitive by the end
Like here the top part of the screen is blank, you could do something with it to display something there It's hard to figure out how to win, it's a bit annoying when almost any click opens a menu and I can't cancel x5 if I've selected it, because for some reason resume is clicked.
Interesting original idea, I like it well done!
Good work!
@tugaryn sorry for x5, I thought I crushed that bug but seems like it still manifests.
For the top part, probably displaying number and composition of mushrooms for player and AI sounds good
Well made game with a very cool mechanic, fun in short sessions. Also the 5x speed is a godsend.
The gameplay is fantastic. I'd like a better indicator of which mushroom I'm actually clicking on because it can be difficult to manage when they're all bunched up.

@bangkerpow Thanks for playing our game and video is so cool cause we see how it works for you :)
We're thinking about adding more visual effects and tooltips for better understanding, and we might update the game after voting is over (otherwise it wouldn't be fair :D).
Interesting genre. The best thing is that it is a strategy with very easy controls. Pretty elegant. The hand cursor is so inaccurate. My gameplay didn't involve much thinking, it feels that there's a simple optimal heuristic, without much dynamic adaptation to the circumstance. I would've definitely enjoyed some rare troops production, but do not complicate the UI! No buttons, the type of a troop should depend on surroundings and a pattern of your mushrooms around.
Having the troops spawn more troops is a very interesting idea, well done!
Really fun game! The mushroom evolution + battle combo works great. Would love clearer click feedback and maybe some UI polish, but I had a blast once I figured it out :)
Love the theme and the gameplay was a nice version of a strategy game. Really was not a fan of the cursor, made things tricky in a way I don't think was intentional but it was cute :laughing: It was cool though, I played for ages (messed up my first play through)
Pretty enjoyable and hard! I like hard games :>
Very cool game, I liked the gameplay it's really not boring and interesting. Also the sounds and graphics are cool)
Age of War! Very cool mechanic. Control was a bit clunky (probably a mix of the unintuitive cursor hitbox, the slow animations, and the large cell size for placing mushrooms), but it was an awe-inspiring sight to watch the mushroom towers battle it out. Probably noone should have a range larger than the viewport, it makes it hard to follow the action.
The old school rompler esque piano sound was great. I agree that the clicking felt a little ambiguous but I had a good time nonetheless.
