I reached level 11 until all my creatures were eaten ;-) Had fun playing your game. Especially liked the dashing.

Screenshot_13.jpg The balance is great! 😄. It was great, it turned out great for a jam game! 👏

The pixel art is great, but the palette choice is a bit of a miss.It would be better if the creatures had a bit brighter colors.

Really nice! I like to eat the other creatures ! Is there a possibility to eat the bigger ones, or it's a way to death? The music is chill and you're clearly in the theme. Bravo!

Fun game, felt like a cool twist on a typical survivors/brotato like game to control multiple creatures at once. Would be interested in seeing a post jam version with additional content :)

Loved the game, highscore of 16150, see if anyone else can beat it ;) other than that really well done !

Great game!

I think you nailed the game mechanics well! The difficulty level increase was finely balanced, the "telegraphing" the attacks made the game feel fair. Sure I lost, but it felt fair the whole time.

Really liked the art-work! One of my favorites so far!

@sviborg; can you beat this ;)

Well-made pixel art is always a pleasure to look at, well done!

Very enjoyable and polished and a nice take on the theme! Pleasure to look at and the difficulty ramp up is great. Congrats!

raethewizrd 2024-10-09 16:32

This is actually pretty fun! The art is nice, and the gameplay gets more fun as you go through it. Although it does get chaotic after a while (not like that's a bad thing though). :3

This was really addictive and fun! You could really get yourself into a pickle quick if you aren't careful. I got to level 20, and things got really crazy. Nice job!

The game gets you hooked from the first seconds. Absolutely everything is polished—the mechanics, the visuals, I love it!

geot 2024-10-11 12:19

Yeah great little game, very easy to get hooked very quickly. Great job!

my4sthma 2024-10-11 12:30

The telegraphed attacks are a great idea and work really well. I would love to see this with hordes of Aggrolotls - like 100 or something!

grizwhirl 2024-10-11 20:15

Ran into some pathing issues and the critters getting stuck on enemies. Was a ton of fun, was not quite able to get up to an angry aggrototl army :(

sourcehorse 2024-10-12 01:59

Loved this! Every part of the game came together great!

alem26 2024-10-12 08:41

This is one of the most fun games I played this GameJam! An axolotl themed bullet hell is definitely not something I expected to see today :D Sound effects are great, art is great, didn't encounter any bugs. Had a great experience overall! I got to lvl 24.

Bravo! Quite an excellent game!

transkuja 2024-10-15 15:06

Addictive game, great job

kuggenhoffen 2024-10-15 19:10

Dang, that turned out to be quite addictive game once it got going! Great job!

yaen 2024-10-19 00:37

One of my favourites so far! I really had quite some fun growing my swarm and improving my abilities over time. Attacks were very clearly telegraphed, the movement system works well (once I realized that I could hold the mouse button down to move), and it's got some nice creature design, especially the tongue-enemy. I love that goober.

I managed to get to level 14 before there were so many creatures around that it wasn't safe to exist anywhere and they overwhelmed me. Would've liked to play for longer too but that's that.

A little less "grindy" balancing for unlocking more levels would've made it even a bit nicer in my opinion.
