Cute and cozy game :3 i do like the simple medieval style and the idea that you could fry your meat with fireballs is just amazing xD (also cheers for letting orcs eat there too)

The graphics and choice of palette are awesome on this one!
I love the style of the game and the music!
It's a very fun game, controls are a bit weird though, would be better if you moved action buttons to somewhere on the right side of the keyboard. Great entry, regardless, good job!
@quadape Cheers for the feedback! Fair point, the key bindings were a bit of an afterthought as it was intended to be played with controller.
Fun idea. Go back to the summoning book is kinda boring… I would prefer a button to simply open it. But it add stress on the task to fulfill the customer, so… why not.
@misoukun Thanks for the suggestion! It was intentional to add to the stress, perhaps it could be implemented differently.
Nice spin on Tapper!
First time getting my controller out for a Ludum Dare game but I'm glad I did, I had a lot of fun with it. Definitely felt the pressure rising with each day and quickly zipping back and forth between roasting and summoning. Great art, good humour and good concept. Well done!
Fun little cooking game, I love the idea of just roasting the meat with a fire spell while its still alive to cook it. Great art too. I know you said in the description it was built for a controller but I wished the keyboard controls weren't so close together. Maybe movement could be handled with the arrow keys so i can play with two hands apart. Great job overall!
Awesome and weird, I love it. The music is good, the graphics is good. I managed to do what the game wanted, but a tutorial would be a nice addition. Nice job!
There's a great sense of humor in using fireballs to provide "tableside service". The graphics are great and fun too. Nice work!
@ffffchai Thanks for playing! Loved your work on Lord of Animals!
The pixel art is adorable. The mechanic is interesting, but it was hard to play with a keyboard. The hand always moved slightly further and the spell was canceled because of that. I guess the game is optimized for a gamepad better. Why have you chosen to not use a mouse? I think mouse would suit the gameplay better. Regardless, nice game!
Overall art and characters are so cute. I laughed a lot when some customers are started ordering burnt food, which was humorous and also a good re-use of the range of cooking mechanic. Nice one!
I enjoyed this game, it's simple but by the time you get to the third day you start figuring out tricks to offset the different animals so you have minimal waiting time. It's a surprising amount of depth for how simple it seems at first. I found moving the cursor with my controller a little floaty, but I'm also less used to using a controller so that might have been user error.
An instant fun game ! I love the mood and serve burned sheep make me a good laugh ^^ Gameplay and visuals are very good ! congratulations!
Wasn't expecting the requested burnt items on the third day - funny stuff! Good spin on the classic Tapper format. Enjoyed the game!
Really stylish and innovative. The soundtrack also added to the atomosphere.
Also, why did they order burnt chicken! XD
Well-polished entry for a jam game! Nice work!
A fun game that is short but sweet and fits the theme. Lovely pixel art.
With a few extra mechanics I can see this being one of those mini-games in open-world / RPG games. Quite polished also, even though keyboard controls are not really working and for some reason I can not make it full screen.
Guess this is some really freshly served food  The graphics were really nice!
I liked that chickens and sheeps have different cooking times and walk with different speed. This really makes them feel different and not only as a texture swap. The idea of having to serve overcooked food on the third day is really awesome. This adds some surprising variety with a mechanic the player already some before! The sprites for overcooked chicken and sheep were a bit hard to differentiate though.
I played on a keyboard and the controls are indeed a bit weird. If you use X/C/V I would advice to also allow the arrow keys to be used instead of WASD.
Overall very cool entry!
