Trodorf! Noooooooo! If I get my hands on the Glorble that took out Trodorf, it won't be pretty.
Very fun game, no notes :D
Very fun for a while. Got a bit repetative at the end, but I played to level 15, before getting tired of it!
Looks great. Love how you never leave the scene
This is great! There's something so much fun about generating these random detachable creatures with hilarious names and then bouncing them off each other. You did some really excellent work here.
By the way, I'm pretty sure I got the best one: glorble.png
very nice game. Why my best summons always die from the void !!!!! really like the mechanics. A little bit of strategy really liked it
I loved the graphics/art style! And it was a lot of fun upgrading my dudes that made it through the combat. Only thing is I would have liked a bit more info / some kind of tutorial at the start, but after a round or two I was able to figure it out. Awesome job!
I wish there were more types of units! Don't know why but felt like it'd be a great swords and sandals type of game, where you fight random groups for money, upgrade, repeat.
Nothing can beat team slappers  slappers.png
This was freaking hilarious! I love the progression here: it starts off simple and I wrecked so much, but then eventually my Glorbles would get shoved out of the ring and die even if they would easily win otherwise. That got so chaotic and awesome!
Haha, I love this!! The randomly generated names and creature designs are really funny, and the sound effects are... life-changing, honestly. I wasn't sure what caused my guys to fall off the edge and get "killed by the void" though... I had four really good guys who beat the other team at like level 7 and then they all decided to fall off the edge at once :(
G L O R B L E.
Banger game.
This was a lot of fun! I have a lot of thoughts about it so I'm going to break it down into bullets:
The Negatives - Falling off the map feels bad. Instant death of something you've put a fair bit of resources into isn't great, *especially* when it happens after you've already won the battle. At one point I won with all 4 still alive, and then by the time I made it to the teambuilding screen I had nothing. - It's a little easy overall. Not strictly a negative cause crushing waves can be pretty fun, but given the nature of the stats and battling I never felt like I needed to be that picky about who I kept or levelled. - There only being 3 stats consistent across all creatures was a little disappointing, and made it hard to want to continue for more than a run or two. Understandable given the time constraints but woulda been nice. - Fullscreen was definitely not fullscreen, I never got to fully see the battle messages or my gold count.
The Positives - I really like the general autobattler system and simplifying it somewhat is nice since so many of them feel immensely complicated. Also a great take on the theme. - The art and audio are wonderful and really sell the vibe I think you were going for. - Definitely replayable (if not infinitely so) in part due to the extensive variation in the creature designs and names. It was always fun to see what would pop up next.
Overall a really fun time, and very cool for a compo entry. Keep up the great work!
Simple but actually fun game! Maybe it is a bit too untransparent what happens on the battlefield though and it is a bit frustrating then the minions just fall of the battle field.
My father always said to me, "There are few things better than a good game of Glorble Brawl." He was not wrong and this game has proven that. But in all seriousness: how'd you generate these little things? Amazing fun once I figured it out. Think the curve could do with a little more difficulty. But I can see the variety of this game really expanding out with different shapes and sizes and speeds of creatures. So long my Troreng, my Klatrol, and my Schpinbulk.
Amazing game! I like the strategy and balance during the summoning and upgrading phase. I agree with the others about summons throwing themselves off the edge. I think that can be an interesting balance against favoring summons with *too* much speed, but it's particularly annoying when they push each other off the board after they've already defeated all of their enemies before the round ends. Made it to Round 14!
This game has a very fun vibe! I ended up getting attached to my glorbles once they lasted long enough. My only complaint is that I wish there was a bit more depth.
