the type of games that use the file explorer and other tools to figure out the story has always been one of my favorites. I pulled up the Game Theory intro while playing lol, did spend a while on the GIMP puzzle but this was fun! :D
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD55 → Ghost in the Filesystem

Good work! I really like this sort of computer app exploring games as well! (And mine kind of fall in that category too. Check our my game if you are interested!) But I haven't seen anything like this yet! really creative. I think you should put your game on itch too! So more people can play it, not just for LD. (did a quick search and didn't see it).
Hey, that's really neat. I've never played a game like this before, so it was quite an adventure. Didn't make it all the way through, but I might come back to it later and give it a go again :D
Lol, I love this one
VERY innovative! I really love this one. Spent some time in GIMP and Audacity (didn't know Spectogram view exists there). This experience was pretty novel so I really enjoyed it! Very great! Good luck!
*theory: are we the ghost? have we been summoned here?*
MAAAAAN. I got right up to the audacity section and got stuck. I loved this. This was awesome. This was right up there with another game I had to print out to play. Well done. <3 5/5
Dude, you're insane, this is amazing. *bows*
@daandruff that is some of the highest possible praise this game can receive. <3
I made it to the end, the filesystem is mine!
The puzzle piece one had me stumped the most, I did some goofy stuff there like renaming the .png files to .wav and importing them to audacity. But it's all very fun, it was the adventure of getting to the prize (the diary secrets). Very innovative take on the theme, I had a great time figuring it all out, great job!
Great out-of-the-box-thinking! This is exactly why I love game jams - seeing you guys come up with all sorts of cool game ideas, that i wouldn't even think of. And on top of that, the puzzles are nicely hidden in the general storyline and integrate really well! Fantastic job!
Okay this was sick, brings me back to doing puzzlehunts. That GIMP puzzle was rough, I had the password the entire time and didn't recognize it. I went through a bunch of stuff, including subtracting the layers from each other, or splitting their RGB channels, or checking their metadata and file entropy and trying to extract strings etc before giving up and looking through the source code. Rest of the stuff was super innovative, I really love the "Audacity-as-image-filters" thing and never thought I'd see it incorporated into a game jam. Awesome work!
@poboy The puzzle you got stuck on is one a lot of people also got stuck on. It's because I designed it really lazily. There was more time to make it better and I really should have taken the time to do so.
Well this is going to take me a while  I'm also stuck on the GIMP/jigsaw puzzle... Awesome game though! :D
EDIT: Made it through! I can't believe I didn't get through the jigsaw puzzle sooner :')
Wellll I'm still playing the game but might as well comment now: this is awesome!! One of my favorite entries :) I don't know if you're familiar but this looks a lot like [Ouverture Facile](http://ouverture.pas.facile.free.fr/start/index.html), a web game with similar riddles, and it's a blast to live again these sensations. I love the format, the story, the humor and the originality of the concept, thanks for making that game :D
Very unique game, don't think I've ever played one quite like this. Excellent work!
Cooooool concept!!! I guessed the truth in layer2, and I love the thoughts
